Please update the app to be iOS 11 compatible. This was one of our favorite games, but now we cant play it.
Literally almost every single hit barely makes it past the pitching mound. Some times they'll give you a home run hit every few games to keep you playing but this is straight trash.
First year you do great. Train, buy upgrades, train, stats go up…. Then season 2-10 your player never really gets better (actually gets worse). Terrible. 2011 version was fun. This is awful.
Trash! If you like the computer winning everything then this is your game.
Regardless of your own personal skill or the batter you use in games hitting, or power level batting results seem fixed as to where ball will go and most of the time it goes right into a fielders mitt. Unless you plane on spending real money to buy power this game is a joke. And it gets worse, some of the "special"pitchers are un-hitable (special dork powers). As for win/loss you can go hitless and your team wins. You can score lots and team loses. Everything about this game seems almost preordained. Definitely not for players over 12 years old.
Impossible to time up the pitches and leads you to want to throw your phone.
Load the game. Then turn off WiFi then it wont crash.
This is an unbelievable game from our childhood. Truly a top 5. We downloaded it recently to replay it, and we got the same glitch as everyone else. Once you try to leave the homescreen, it crashes. We FIXED THE BUG. All you need to do is sit on the home screen for a minute or two and then click on the game mode. Idk exactly how long it is. Then you can load up our Batter or whatever. If it doesnt work the first time, try it again and sit on the homescreen for a couple minutes. Ive played multiple careers of our Batter after figuring this out. Played for hours at a time with no crashes. It saves perfectly. Only crash you get is if the app resets, you need to wait a few minutes on startup just like before. Its well worth the small wait. Think of it like a loading screen. Youre welcome. Have fun guys.

Click play game, turn on Airplane mode, then click mode (our batter, exhibition, our team, etc.) turn off airplane mode if you want.
This game is awesome! We have only been playing it for like three days now but we are obsessed! We play the our batter mode in a career and love it! It is hard but fun and rewarding, this deserves all five stars, talon pye.
If anyone else is running into the same problem with this game crashing, theres still a way to play it. This isnt the easiest thing to explain but basically after you click the app, dont touch the screen for about 45 seconds. And then do the same thing before you click Game Start. Then you do the same thing before you select the next thing after that, and then you should be good. But yea basically all you have to do is wait for some time until you get into the game.
This was our absolute favorite game as a kid. Please update it so we can play on our iPhone 14. PLEASE, id even pay for it if it works.
Turn off your wifi and put in airplane mode, get to what you want to play and load in once that happens your good to turn on ur connection again, have fun with this masterpiece.

We keep seeing comments about the game crashing when you load it up just turn your wifi and service off and it will work.
We used to play this game alot on our grandmas phone such good memories!!! But we tried open the game a few weeks ago and when we wanted to do our batter the game just closed im using an iPhone 12 idk if im supposed to use a specific phone so we can play on it.
We truly have played this game for so long that now coming across it brings so much nostalgia. Can you guys please fix the bug on the app !!! App crashes after starting any game mode and does not let you play.
One of our favorite childhood games and we cant play it in 2024. Everytime we try to load into our batter it crashes. We dont care about servers being down but Id at least like to enjoy the single player story of this amazing game. Please fix this if possible.

Tried downloading a few years ago cause it crossed our mind and wanted to play but wouldnt work sad that it still doesnt played this game alot as a kid and wanted to play wish a update could be put out so it would work with the latest ios.
So for everyone who is mad about the glitch where it kicks you out. (Completely understandable). To fix it. All you do is load it up press the screen and take it to where it says game start. Get out of the app. Browse on twitter or IG or anything for about 1 minute. Go back and try it. It always works for us. Hope this helps.

We loved this game so much growing up, that being said please make it so we can play this on iOS 17.
We love this game and just cannot let go, we love the pixely design and the game play, its not the same as the 2024, dear developers please update it, we really love this game and nothing can replace it, even just being updated to be compatible would really warm our heart.
We like the game but when we go to get off of the game when we want to play again it just kicks us out so then you have to edit teams or something to get it to work. That is our only issue we like the game it is fun and enjoyable.
This game literally came out 12 years ago, we havent played it since like 2018 but we just randomly remembered it. NOTHING holds a candle to this game man. Why did they never make a newer version of it.
PLEASE READ!!!!! This is coming from someone who is a huge fan of Baseball Superstars. We have been playing since we first found this game back in 2012 when we first got our IPhone as a preteen. This game was so addictive, and one of (if not) the best most in depth mobile game Ive played. Its challenging, has a competent story, and give you that grind satisfaction. Now, this leads to our main reason to writing this review, THEY HAVE A BASEBALL SUPERSTARS 2023. We see tons of people complaining about this app not being compatible, and its because the creators are now focusing on maintaining and updating the new version. The game is everything it was before, and then some. So many different plots, stories, progression options, etc. If you are someone who does love this app, and is coming back for nostalgia or to get back into a baseball game, then head to baseball superstars 2023. Should be compatible with your phone and not crash/play smoothly.

THE GAME WORKS IF YOU PLAY ON AIRPLANE MODE! (This works on a lot of old games for some reason).
Before opening the app go into airplane mode and startup a our batter. Then go off airplane mode and turn on internet and it should work. Worked for us.
We liked the part where Manager said Its basin time and based all over the enemy team.
