This game is fun, but it is TOTALLY RIGGED!! Just watched a guy go all in with TRASH (3/5, and 8/6) twice in a row against high cards (which came up on the flip both times), Naturally the guy catches straights two hands in a row (won the previous two hands as well (going all in), but we dont remember the hands, but he had low cards) – just know they were not good, and he went all in. Its a joke and its completely rigged, we have no doubt. There is a better chance we are the king of the world than some of these hands come ip over and over like that. If you are willing to pay a few bucks to eventually get screwed, this is your game. We get bad beats, but not complete fraud. Its fun for the hands that BS doesnt happen, but he prepared to get jobbed.
We see it in the title if the app that this is a play money app. When we are in a tournament we constantly get a pop up asking for us to change our settings to allow our location to be known IF we choose to play for real money. This pop up appears regularly. We know it is a data grab and we refuse to give in! It is annoying, otherwise we like this app a lot.
We expect to lose some hands on the river but dang! It happens so much. Is there some sort of algorithm that has ya lose so ya have to buy more chips? Or is it on the up and up.
Good app to play poker on, there are a decent amount of people online often, so the tables arent ever all empty. Though we have a problem, the challenges tab appears as an all white screen for us. We can click on the throwables tab and it appears all fine and good, but not the challenges tab.
Help Center link within the game is disabled. We were issued 5 tickets for 1M tournament play, but when we clicked the register for ticket buttons, cash was removed from our account instead. PS casino play is a joke. Dont waste your time on this app.
The games are definitely fixed. We know you cant control that 90% of the players dont know how to play. But, these idiots who go all in with 7/2 and equally bad hands win every time. Your pocket As are worthless. Plus, casino always has 503 error and is never available. Secondly, the help center is blank and there is no chance to contact customer service.
Real money isnt allowed in our state so we use the play money. Players are reckless and Ive never seen so many flushes and straights on the river. Ill never spend another penny on this app until they fix this lousy algorithm.
Some may find it neat BUT the digits are so small Im having a hard time seeing the pot and bets sizes as well as our betting options. We would expect – from the app of this level – at least have an option in the settings to adjust that. Thank you in advance.
No one wants to play lottery based poker. Have someone manually build you 10k random decks and use them.
We had won a ton of play chips on poker and in the casino. Now.. Its basically gone. And we havent changed how we play. Im starting to feel like Im in a real Casino. What gives.

Great game. But frustrating when you constantly lose matches and hands due to it disconnecting.
We have had this happen twice and its currently the case where we cant get our limit down low enough for us to enjoy the smaller tournament of like say 15,000. Currently it only allows us to play 50,000 and above. We can play this way, but Im forced to wait till we have more than 50,000 to play. So Im playing less frequently as it is. We tried to go to the help desk , but generates no response. So our major issues are being able to contact you to have things corrected. We enjoy the game very much and play every day, but we cant play when Im not able to participate. Please help us. We cant even submit this review right now.
We enjoy the games but it would be nice if Pokerstars would update their casino. 2 slots dont work, Emerald Fairy and Diamond Deluxe. Havent worked for a good 12 months. Why not replace them with new slots. Also the Quest challenge is pretty bogus. A player needs to spend thousands if not hundreds of thousands to advance and only get 400 -4000 chips to keep progressing to the next level. Makes no sense to even play it. We have also noticed that the rpt on the slots are lower than other casino slot sites. Give your players a break.
We like this app. But recent update, while adding some nice features like preloaded phrases, messed up some other stuff. You can no longer see your hand after you fold on iPhone. You can hold it down and try to peer under the phrases, but its less than ideal. We would appreciate to be able to revert back to the pre-update UI.
Ive been getting this message for a week now after clicking on the free chips button. Reloading of play chips is not possible at this time, as you have exceeded your target allowance. You will need to use your chips before reloading again.
Someone has messed up this app. All of a sudden it has been deemed that we cant top up on (free) chips as we have done for years. It also doesnt direct us to the table when enough players have entered – 5-card draw in particular.
Like the title above says we have the winning hand until the river and then we lose it all. The reason we gave 4 stars is because we also have won on the river when we have felt we were all but dead. So basically we have won many hands we should have lost and have lost many hands we should have won. We love the variety of games and sadly the US does not allow real money games. Still a fun time.
This app is great for beginners all the way up to people who try to fine you in the game. A+++.
They really ruined this app. Lower the chips to 300 and now you cant even play more than a few hands and youre done. Will be deleting this app very soon. Not even a little bit fun anymore Update. One of the most blatantly rigged online sites you will ever play on. Most other competitors will keep you guessing, because Atleast there your aces hold 60-70% of the time, but this one practically screams it in your face by the first 4 or 5 aces you get in pre. You will not win. Its almost hilarious watching the win percentage of aces vs any 2 random cards go from 80 to 77.6 to 0. Every single time. Stay far far away and never spend a dime, because you are most certainly getting scammed. The developers trying to damage control every review should be telling enough.
Lets get this out of the way 1st. Its a free game with real people not an app with AI. So the chips are free, 15K every 4 hours we think. But you can also buy them, up hundreds even thousands of real dollars. We have grown our free $1k into over 10 million twice, and over 6 figures many times. Its the bad play of people with free chips. That is part of what makes this possible. Know that poker stars makes money on this site by selling those same free play money chips. The algorithms are designed for excessive coolers, and promoting the bad play. Such as AA, consistently losing, more than the 20% they would in real poker vs any random 2 cards, like 2.9os. The amount of bad beats on here are ridiculous. Sometimes we even take advantage of this, seeing we suckout with the worst hand sometimes even being dominated. At the end of the day, its a free game vs other real people world wide. Just dont use the any 2 will do strategy that work on here in any real cash game or real tournament. Its just so sickening to see idiots play so bad, then suckout with garbage after you trap them. The same pre-flop when some idiot is jamming any 2 cards, and u trap with a big hand and there they go jamming only to make runner, runner boat or flush. Or you have a larger set to see them make quads. Just a piss poor excuse for the algorithms on here, its the worst. But its the only game in town.
If you play long enough you will see the low stack gets better cards. We play a lot of 3 man games. Knocked out player 1. Player 2 won 10 hands in a row. Not even being in the game. Never showed up for the game at all. Finally knocked him out. We hope you really dont believe your response! Its not at all totally random. Example: happens close to 90%. We start with A 10. Opponent gets a straight an and we get either a A or 10 as our last card to make it look close.
This app is dual and boring poker stars use to be king of online poker but its descent into meaningless, rivers, and bad beats even in play money is horrible. You get raised every hand except for when you have a great one and we feel like some of these players are bots in reality we would not recommend this for beginners or season pros.

Fun game but the River hits to make a hand with low odds win more often than it should. It is annoying and detracts from being like real poker.
Been playing but now it hides sit&gos from us. It also wont let us in the help center. Im about to give up because sit& gos are all we want to play,& we cant get anyone to help.

The app keeps crashing during a game causing you to loose.
It is obvious that this app was designed in a way that you will eventually lose and buy chips, they could've at least make the algorithm less obvious.

How do you get in touch with support for an issue? Im unable to rebuy into reentry tournaments and the help option in the settings just spins.
On the casnio side of the app, we play black jack. And we played and a pair of queens hit. Its wouldnt let us stand, hit or split. Ive rebooted the app multiple times but wont let us play anymore. The hold em tables are great though.
The tournaments use to be fairly fair, but know the flop turn and river are not random from full left over decks. It is obvious the decks are limited to cards based on caller hands.
We would love to give this game a good review. The blackjack table is frozen and wont let us hit, stand, or anything. Every time we try it freezes and wont do anything.
Ive been playing for years. The variety is awesome. No one is even coming close to the tournaments. We wish we could play real money though. Seems odd in this day and age.

Random is not a thing here. If you play Omaha, get ready for more full house, four of a kind, straight flush hands than youve ever seen. We paid $99.99 for chips and didnt receive them. Our Bank shows the charge as pending to going thru. Absolutely no way of contacting anyone to resolve this issue. Edit: Apple refunded the monies within 48 hrs after we contacted them the following day. We like the app however this is the first bad issue we ran into. We changed the rating from 1 star to 2 star since this was resolved monies wise. PokerStars needs a better way to resolve these types of issues.
If you unregistered from a sit and go, the registration pop up doesnt have a Cancel X. Cannot leave that pop up window and play a different table/game. Been like that for several versions now.

Our wife uses her iPad to play or perhaps to get free chips with ads and has been for years but a couple months ago she could not get in . We assume it is because she has always used our password and identity. She does not understand and has decided to just forget about it. Would it help if we could go back to when it worked since she seldom if ever plays but does like to acquire free chips that help us. Now if that is a problem how would we get this site on our computer so she could do that. Thanks in advance for anything.
The blackjack has been frozenso Im unable to play that one game. Also we noticed on a couple occasions the app had an error on the dealers hand on blackjack. The dealer had 24 but the system showed 23. No biggie but weird.
Yesterday, we attempted to play with the app but the program was down for maintenance. When we were able to sign on, the 25k Omaha hi/low sit & go displayed a message that registration is closed. We have since not been able to play, due to this message. We went to cash games to play Omaha Hi/low and found buy-in had changed fro 4,000-10,000 to double 8,000-20,000. In addition the blinds were also doubled from 100 to 200. What happened?? How do we play the sit & go.
We have been using Pokerstars for some time and we really enjoy the experience only to wake up one day and find out that it is no longer available to Ghanaians. Please fix this and have us back.
We literally watched someone win 17 straight hands. This game is scam. Dont waste time or money.
