Good graphics, enough interesting things to controls. "Civilization" with town building. Fighting is weak but the game will fight for you at the push of a button. We are enjoying the growth and planning and laying out our city.
This game is awesome. Can treat it as an idle game or go full tilt! It all depends on your goals, no pressure to spend money as most rewards are achievable through time. No complaints here.
The game is really fun, especially if you participate in events and join a good guild.

The intelligent game makers recently added commercial adds as part of the game. Thats right if you want to watch commercial adds interrupting game play. If you want to take actions that for many years of playing were free, now you get to watch an add first. Dont call it greed. Know the game makers can change any aspect of game play even though everyone and we know everyone hates the changes recently implemented without listening to the people who actually play. If you want to spend money you can bypass the advertisements. Makers you have ruined a fun game.
We liked the initial premise. But we got to the point when we were forced to start a war to conquer land. This is not the game we were looking for. Totally uninteresting to us. We wish there were more other options.
It wont let us open it but other than that we love it. Fix it please.
We have been playing this game for more years than we can remember. We acquired great friends, lots of help, compassion & understanding. From the beginning of cavemen to the future, it is a beautiful ride.

This game rocks. Im going through a lot of stress in our life right now. Its hard to get our mind quiet. But when we play Forge Of Empires, it actually helps us empty our mind, relax and find a little joy in our day. It really helped us with our mental health lately. We know that sounds silly. But, it has been a healthy escape for us.
FOE is an enjoyable game that we have played for over 9 years. We see that the most frequent criticism is plundering. We have never plundered but have been plundered many many times. It is all about your attitude. Just let it go. It really doesnt slow you down.
We played this game since 2021 and until present time it does have a lot of good buildings with forge points and attack stats. But the bad side of this game is people in our world is cheating for using macros and people in global chat are cyberbullying, harassment and threatening us for no reason. They want us to leave for no reason if we say hello in global chat or help someone new to the game. We have seen Inno took action with this and even cheating back in the day, but they should update their game with new staff to protected their members from cheaters.
Buggy, money grabby tricks, doesnt advance well, gets stuck on screens with no way out but to restart. Poor.
Awesome setup seamless on smartphones- great work by developers and always bringing new items and quests to keep interesting. Love it.
We are so glad we downloaded this app Ive been playing for 2 months and have gotten to high Middle Ages it is so fun its kinda hard to understand though.
This is possibly the best game ever It has lots of errors of history and we love the look of the design.

When we first installed Forge of Empires recently as a new player, we learned multiple things all at once. The game itself is very well thought through, which makes the visual lessons and historical era's more compelling based on structual design and historical diversity. While also adding in educational reminders of the changes that humans went through on a grand scale. However, there was one individual aspect of the game that impacted us very deeply, that we hope other players might realize to once installing this app. – Just like in real life, human history has unfolded over thousands of years, that is visibly applied to this game, human history doesn't just happen in a single day, building your city in this game just like in real life, requires patience. We were more than happy to patiently build our city, we have been in the Bronze Age for 33 days, and took breaks from the game to produce resources overtime in our city. We never followed the main quests in the game, we would rather put effort into our city than let the game help. For any new player who is planning get the game, patience and practice is a key skill that we learned from this experience. There never is a waste of time. And hope this game will continue to promote patience and moderate city building methods without purchasing things. Thanks to the Developer for allowing history to be an adventure.
Wish we could have a real challenge. Release the Kraken. An event to place the Kraken in the water next to the ships. You put incidents there.
When we first played it we very tuned into it and was on it for hours and our family got into it and we enjoy the holiday events and to defend your city and is a good steadily game and a creativity on how you place houses in right place and make keep your people happy in game and best game.
We have enjoyed playing Forge of Empires for several years and still do. We did have an issue with the game recently, but we think this had more to do with our new (less powerful) wifi than the game. Using cellular data has seemed to resolve the issue. We really like the many game aspects and challenges (GBG; GE; QI; Event Buildings) and we enjoy working with a guild as part of a team. Great historical backgrounds and cool Great Buildings too. Can play this game for hours. It is addictive, but well worth it. Highly Recommend.
We spent 20 dollars over the time we have had this game and we got to the modern age. But after we updated the app we lost all progress and our money. Would not recommend getting this game.

We love this game, Been playing for years.. But the one thing we HATE is when we get a new phone and try and log into our old account it doesnt matter how many times we reset the password we cant get in it say wrong password.

Ive built an empire in three different cities, and connected with players from each city. The best help in the game is from the people you meet that can help you build great cities. There will be in game purchases (you cant resist) that help you get great rewards from monthly quests. If you dont spend any $$$ advancement will be slow. Forge of empire is an awesome game. It is very interactive and has a lot of options to choose from. The gameplay is strategic and engaging. Each selection you make has a significant impact on your empire. It is also a great learning experience. Its a huge game with so many moving parts and pieces. It does have a bit of a learning curve due to the nature and enormity of the gameplay. It also has some minor downsides. Overall its an awesome game, highly recommend.
While we enjoyed the development of the cities and the events and daily challenges, we dislike a game where monied bullies are allowed to prey upon our cities, taking our resources or armies of bought mercenaries who delight in destroying all we have. Nice basic construct but lousy implementation.

The game keeps changing and making new stuff.
We appreciate the in-depth involvement and fun tournaments. We wish there was more tournaments and building bigger colonies. But Im probably asking for more than we can use ;). Im glad pvp is optional thus far as we really dont care for getting raided.
