It is stunning how absolutely toxic the regulars are. These people have tens of thousands of games played and cant handle losing to anyone not playing the same algorithmic strategy. It is hilarious. It is annoying. It is also not real Hearts. Most of the online games are Spot Hearts which give points for each cards value and dont let you shoot the moon. Its rote mathematics for card counters and a lot less fun.
Only thing we don't like is how the hearts and especially the queen to slowely float across the board the queen is the worst it's like it want to be lazy and not hustle to make the game quicker than those floating points.
Ive been playing for a little over a year and the game is still pretty great! Gameplay is fun and there arent too many ads. The ads that are the at the end of each game (yes NOT after each hand!) are short. Sometimes we feel like Im playing against 3 players who are in cahoots with each other but we have the advantage that we can quit if we get too far down and start a new game. Having the Jack of diamonds (for minus 10) is a great option to keep the game more interesting. Best hearts game out there.
We really enjoy playing the variety of card games included in the suite. You can play against individuals from all over the country or play against the computer. Either way its fun and challenging.
For as long as we can remember being online Ive played games with Silver Creek Entertainment! Ive got all their games on all our devices. From hardwood hearts, solitaire, spades, euchre to our favorite online backgammon game ever! The graphics are second to none. Once we got lucky enough to serve as a beta tester as they ported games. Even that was fun. They are, and always have been, a completely trustworthy company. Sometimes we had a subscription and could enjoy the super great perks, other times we did not, either way its still a great site with amazing games. We dig the chill music choices and the background audio options. Prepare for a challenge and keep track of your score as you progress. Perhaps we will meet & compete.

Finally a game with the coolest graphics. Now if you would just not use the Royal Match game in your Que.. It is disturbing and sadistic. We play games that are fun with great graphics.. Good work! Royal Match takes 90 seconds of our playing time EVERY SINGLE TIME! Dont you think this is a little outrageous? We WOULD NEVER LOAD THAT GAME. Its just so annoying. We have deleted every game that uses it. You will be next if you dont do anything about it.

Ive been playing Heartwood Hearts for a couple years now. Its addicting and fun. HOWEVER!!!! Its extremely ANNOYING that its rigged. The deal is never just a natural deal. Oddly, seems the 2, 3, 4 and 5 of hearts is always dealt evenly between the four players. Also, if you get to a 1500+ rating, look out. Youll start getting dealt the crap deals and pretty much every hand youll get passed crap cards. Youll RARELY see anyone with a 1600+ rating and why do you think that is? Because its rigged. When you get in to the 1500s, consider yourself at your highest peak. Recently the game added a Cut Deck feature. We assume this was to make the player think they are getting a natural deal. Not! Cut Deck is a joke as it changed nothing.

To report other users' bad behavior … Will put an official note in their profile and give us a direct link to their chat history. We are sorry that you experienced sexual harassment from another player. We wish there was more we can do to address toxic players like that on our site than the tools you mentioned and the Reporting method described above. Since taking this job Ive begun to feel like internet trolls are like sharks teeth, one falls out and there is a row behind to replace it. As for our guides behavior, we will speak with them on their courterousness. We would only ask you to please understand that guides are volunteers and sometimes do make mistakes and are sometimes needing to deal with multiple situations at the same time, so your patience is appreciated. ORIGINAL REVIEW 4/25/23 we are a paying customer and the one time someone goes so far that we seek help from a moderator, we are treated like the filthy-mouthed perpetrator and banned from hosting and chatting with anyone, including the mod. We email customer no support to complain, and no response. The really sad part is we just renewed for a full year and cannot get our money back. We paid good money to be abused, shame.
This game has a different take on graphics and theme which are cool but the same itself is the same. Have not bought any tokens yet from the characters in the game but maybe once we decide this will be our main hearts game. Cheers.

We may or may not actually stop for a coffee during the day, but we do take 5 or 15 or 20minutes for a little fun time. We really enjoy HEARTS.

Almost always dealt two of clubs, five of hearts virtually guarantees that youll take a trick all hearts (2, 3, 4), passing the ace or king or both of spades virtually guarantees you will be passed the queen of spades, typically you will be passed the same suit(s) as you passed, if you get a significant lead you will be dealt a virtually-unprotected queen of spades on a no-pass hand. When one takes the queen of spades it is most frequently with a club trick – easy for programmers to set this up. There is a key weakness wherein we can shoot the moon because the software fails to take the queen of spades – though it could – if we have the last heart to be lead after the queen. There are other obvious patterns. We would prefer a no-cheat game. However, that would expose the inability of the programmers to deliver a sufficient level of software intelligence. We imagine a response to our complaints might be we cheat to artificially challenge the player in order to improve player skills, blah blah. That said, we suppose many (most?) play the game real-time with online opponents. Are the Hardwood folks interceding/cheating in that area too? Must admit – we admire the cheating algorithms! Regardless, the game helps pass time in physician waiting rooms. And far superior to other hearts games Ive found.
Great game for all levels of players. Also great that it has online playing options.
We have been learning Hearts thru this online game. Great fun, except that players can quit and frequently do. Halfway through or even near the end, someone is losing or they dont like their hand, they bail! Very annoying. Also it allows a host to boot you from a game. We dont understand why, we dont know the players, and we have been uninvited and kicked off a game. Some players make aggressive or rude comments. We are just looking for clean fun and learning.
This game, particularly Multi player, captures both entertainment and strategy. Similar to poker, it will involve skill and some luck. Look forward to it everyday. Cheers.

Ive been on the hardwood ap for many years. We play almost all of the offered games. The effects are stunning, love it.
Ive tried several game of hearts and so far this seems to be the best. There seems to be no cheating as of adding points to different peoples hands. The only problem we really have had so far with this game is the announcement that pops up at the beginning and it stays in the middle of the board and you cant see what cards have been played.
We really enjoy this version. Was playing on a different app but we kept getting kicked out or the message would say not connected. Recently joined and so far so good.
We were introduced to the online game years ago when both of our parents and our brother would come together in a room to play like a family, just as we did growing up! Our dad doesn't have his own computer anymore , so we no longer play online, but still play when we physically get together. We still enjoy playing offline against bots.

We have had this app since 1996 and play it between 3-8 times a day….always tge last thing before bedtime, whenever that may be.
Ive been playing about a week with minimal interruptions Most of the Free games are locking up our iPad with ads by now. LOOK AT OUR ADS OR YOULL DO NOTHING WITH YOUR MOBILE DEVICE!!! This has ads but so far the intrusiveness is uniform So we will see WAV.
We are new to the game. Playing with the computer as other players is really a great way to learn the ropes of the game. Its nice to start with the easy level and advance as we get better. Next…….real people.
Not as good as the old Hoyle card games Hearts, but it beats any hearts card games out there now.
You get bad mouthed and bullied if you dont play the way the community of players want you to play. They all hit the high pointers and never strategize . The dealer always give you bad cards if you are not a member. Poor community.
We play another 20 Hearts or so, this one is good, too. But pls not yo be so difficult.
We love winding down at night with this game.
