Community Insight:

Today we get a scammer like pop up after every hand. Trying g to get us to download Solitaire. Of all things! No way to skip either. Only way out is to close the app entirely. Super scammy!! This used to be one of our favorite games! Fix this please.

Its not a bad game but it is totally infair in the card distribution. Finesses never work and NS always have weak hands.

This is our favorite application for playing Bridge. We were disappointed, however, today that they made an update that changed the way the results of the game or displayed and no longer shows master points, table 2 or the double dummy.

Love this game. It offers plenty of practice playing a variety of hands and has greatly improved our game.

Like how it gives you hints on bidding and play of hand. Also has double dummy analysis, which is really helpful.

Physically 4 people find out its really hard but in the app always available.

We enjoy this app. It would be wonderful if we could play online with our partner.

Dont understand why our partner bids sometimes with 2 pts, etc.

So playing today cpu partner in passout seat at 4CX chose to bid 5C rather than pass the already game bid. Crazy.

Great for practice. Wish there were a way to purchase no ad version.

The game is laid out nicely and works in portrait or landscape mode. The computer opponent plays very well but the bidding advice is weak. Biggest complaint: many of the popup ads look just like ios system messages. That is poor practice.

Bidding could use more explanation.

Best Bridge app Ive played by a mile.

We love this bridge site. Bidding and playing options are available and help when needed. Getting A1 results compared to yours is invaluable. Two thumbs way up.

In terms of bidding and gameplay, this game is solid. But it is rigged for East-West to get better hands. It isnt random. (we know they will say it is and that if you dont like the hand you can always redeal). Try this. Bid 7 NT right away. East-West will automatically double and you will be down 3500 points. Magically, you will get the most amazing cards dealt to you once you are behind by that much Try it out. The game is rigged.

The devs in this app like to tell reviewers things like the deals are random or there is no seat biases or reshuffle until you get a hand you like. Dear dev team here are our stats from your app to provide you some data backing up what your users are saying. Game played -217, we have won 77 or 35% Hand played -1367, we have won 602 or 44% Contracts – Declared 43% for We – Made 63% while they made 71% – Failed – 37% while the failed 29% – Small slams, we have made 14 (67%) they have made 28 (76%) Contracts by player – Declared South 22%, North, 21%, East 29%, West 28% – Made South 65%, North 61%, East 71%, West 72% – Failed South 35%, North 39%, East 29%, West 28% At some point we would have thought the law of averages would have balanced things out but not so much. We are a bridge player with over 35 years experience of playing and have the computer setting at 2 (2nd easiest) and this is the results we are getting, looks pretty flawed to us. This game is average, but could be great if the devs would fixed their logic in the game instead of telling us to reshuffle until we get a hand we want or to change the settings to easier settings. We are not asking to give us hands so we win every time, we are just asking for more balanced hands to give us an opportunity to win and enjoy your game instead of getting frustrated biased logic. Devs, You have seen similar reviews, we have provided you data, which we are sure you have metrics on from all users as well as from your QA and UX teams have provided you similar data. Now its your turn to act to fix the problems with your game instead of brushing off your users with canned replies.

Worst thing about it is it does not return partners lead when partner leads first against opponent. It does not return partners lead against nt and it consistently over bids. Will bid 4 card suit 3 times it does not trump a trick when it can.

Every now and then it bids off the wall stuff. The auto play also doesnt always live up to what it projected when we played the hand.

Very good game with annoying ads.

Smart and thorough bridge game. Im playing it obsessively now. Our only wish is that it would describe the reasons for selecting the recommended cards to play, especially on defense (e.g. Fourth of longest and strongest, high-low, etc.) At least for leads.

We have played this for sometime but still do not understand the bidding?? Sometimes okay but often Weird?? We dont bid or we skip hand unless we think we can make it on our own hand. Maybe there is a place for explanations.

The game itself is fine. But we initially downloaded it and paid to play without ads, then deleted the app. Now Iv downloaded it again, and there are constant ads. So evidently paying once wasnt enough to play ad-free again. Only there seems to be no way to just purchase the game and pay without annoying ads. Incredibly irritating. Im about to delete it again.

Our team caught 5 turn from the team who had to turn a double 2 in hearts. We received no points and they received 1100 points. How is that fair.

We were a strong player but we havent played in several years. This software is not a Life Master but its sufficient to put up good resistance! Its bidding is also above average. Nice.

We needed to show up and thrash an old folks home bridge night and this game prepared us for just that.

Still favors EW much more than NS in both rubber & chicago.

We play bridge in several different bridge clubs and this is our go-to game when we have a little bit of time to kill on our phone. It gives offers quite a few options to set the type of game and bidding options that you prefer and once we experimented with those options we have a very good and challenging bridge game. You have the option to turn hints on and off and we admit that sometimes the game wants us to play different bidding styles that we don't use but we have learned a lot by paying attention to the hints. You can go back and replay a game to try and improve your play. One of the things we appreciate is that, like so many apps, this one is supported by showing ads. The ads are almost always five seconds or less in length and they don't appear so often that we get frustrated with them. All in all we think it's a really good bridge game for beginners or seasoned players. It has improved our skills at the game and gives us the opportunity to try and be a better player.

Overall pretty good however there was an instance where the west hand made moves that in no way would make sense unless they knew what cards were in the hand of North.

It is very frustrating to have such poor responder bidding. It frequently puts the bidder at a disadvantage. As an intermediate bridge player we are not learning much from this ap.

Im very disappointed that after a couple of years of playing on this app, advertising suddenly appears. And the worst part is, they have sound! Sometimes we like to play this when Im waiting for something else and we dont want people to bothered by the sound. However, we like that you can replay a hand from bidding and play as it is a great learning tool. We are going to have to search for another app to play on because of the very frequent video ads with sound.

Good to practice our bridge. Difficult to bid since we dont know our partners conventions.

This is by far and away the best bridge app we have come across. It is substantially better than the pay competition. However, the new Double Dummy feature need to be re-thought Often, when the hand is passed out, Double Dummy is shown to have made a contract that is clearly impossible.

Great apps. Id like to suggest putting all the games you offer into one app suite with the possibility of more games to come. That would really be amazing.

An excellent bridge app. The best Ive seen lately.

We do not like the new set up,for duplicate. Go back to the old style or we will find another app.

How can you play when your computer partner opens with 1 spade and he has only 2 points ? No one can win or play fairly like this. You as a bridge game developer can do better. Not only than he , computer, only had two spades. Terrible.

Most of the game is good, but the leads against no trump bids are horrible.

What is wrong with the AI bidding on this app? It is often so awful that we ditch the hand. Today we bid one no trump and our partner said two hearts. We won the bid with three hearts. When partners hand was revealed she had three hearts and seven (7!) spades. What? This game needs some serious work and basic bidding rules need to be built in and followed.

If youve played Bridge Baron before, NeuralPlay is a far superior game. The help in bidding is superb. There are lots of options to set. You can share hands via text or email. We highly recommend this app. Playing it will make you a better bridge player.

Sometimes the partner is not great but mostly its good.

Like this ap but it would be better if the playing hand lined up with the dummy hand – for instance, if the dummy is laid down on the board trumps in hand should be on the left. Trumps should be on the left in hand as well.

Will be an easy five stars once they add human defensive plays.

The graphics are great. But, often the bidding by partner is not accurate and is misleading. We would buy this if it was accurate. Is there a way to submit inaccurate deals.

This bridge game has strange bidding protocols.

Better game than Hoyles bridge but the bidding is very poor. Partner consistently bids his worst suit. Example: He bid diamonds twice with the 3, 4, & 5 only while he had a 5 card spade suit with 3 honors and never mentioned it. This happens repeatedly.

This app is ok for beginner practice and passing the time, but it doesn't follow standard bridge rules. Basics such as returning partners lead (they arent void) are not followed. We have 2/1 selected as our system and this app ignores basics of this system too. Wont replace Bridge Baron or Bridge Base. Please teach your AI the proper 2/1 method. 2C response to 2D doesnt mean we have clubs. It means we have. Opening points.

We just deleted the app out of frustration with Norths bids. 3 with only 3 cards that were hearts and just a king and a jack- in the third round of bidding. Also cards make it easy to play the wrong one at the beginning.

This apps compulsory apps are awful. Juvenile, and offensive. PLEASE get paid version without ads.

More enjoyment than playing chests .. Best to have a stiff drink or three before playing .. Program games you.

Need trick to remember what has been played or just the reason why to play a certain card.
