We really enjoy playing pitch however, where we live not many people have heard of the game. So we rely on these apps. Yours had been the best. Now we have discovered a big flaw in the program , it doesnt like to lose. We have changed the settings. We have deleted the app and reinstalled it but it still is the same.. When east or west has the bid each of them will have 3-4 trump in hand.., when our partner has trump we have none. Our partner bids 3 consistently and loses 80% of those bids. Lastly when we are left with the bid we will not have any face cards in our hand at least 75% of the time we are not a hard loser Im still playing and we will win a game or two. We have learned to only bid when you have an ace because your opponent has it ! We only want to let you know what we think we have noticed about your game we have played others and we will stick with yours.. We were hoping you could make it a little more fair Thanks Norm we are still having the same issue with your game you took the time and responded to us and said that it was all random however we dont really believe it we will admit that we make mistakes and we are not a perfect player. But the constant three bids by our partner and we can see that he doesnt even have three trump in his hand is wrong and that is definitely on you Please look into this Thank you, Norm.

Has lots of errors. Choices of rules not easy to set. We want old rules: high, low, jacks, jokers, game, owner of low gets point. No discarding. How do we get this? And what kind of rules say you don’t have to follow suit! Several times we have won a point only to have it given to the other team. We’re 80 and we have had knowledge of this game since we were nine. It’s fun with you, but different and strange.

Customizable rules rock! Best way to play pitch on your phone.

Overall, we very much enjoy playing the game; however, there are still a few major bugs that need to be corrected. The computer AI opponent does not always follow suit. On a number of occasions, a suit will be played (like spades) and the AI opponent will trump it, and then play a spade the very next hand. How does that happen?? Also, the AI opponent doesnt always play smart when it comes to playing the 10 of any suit, sometimes not playing it when it helps the team or tossing it when it had another option to avoid losing it.

We could like this game, but the AI is off. We have been in contact with support and have tried what they have suggested. We have also tried playing on levels 2, 3, and 4. On all three levels our partner is a terrible player and our opponents are incredibly lucky. They say cards are dealt randomly, however, our opponents not only have an unusual number of good hands, but they also seem to know what their partner has. Our partner constantly outbids us whenever we have a decent hand and often doesnt make the bid. They also dont make their bid a lot. Why would our partner lead a deuce of whatever suit they named as trump on the first play?! We make points only to have our partner lose points. Its frustrating enough that we may delete the app. Its too bad because it could be a good game.

We keep score as we go and several times when we’ve taken low on the first trick the point has gone to the other team.

This game used to be an easy 5 star game for us. We love pitch and this app delivered. It used to just be one ad per match (usually after the first hand of every match). Not a big deal. Especially because you could close the ad within a couple seconds. Now theres an ad every other hand. We mean come on. Im uninstalling.

This app is unplayable as there are way too many ads.

The north player in this game makes many really stupid plays and bids. You need to improve the skill of this player. I.E. Winning the bid and leading the jack.

Dont waste your time with this one. Plenty of others out there. Whatever algorithm they use is garbage.

The AI is great and the app includes a variation we havent been able to find anywhere else (9-5). The developers are extremely responsive and have built an incredible app!

So far have loved the app seems to work great. Only thing we would love is to be able to pick whether we can play 4, 6, or 8 game size! 4 vs 4 is great IRL.

Need better instruction on how to play each game!

We wouldve gave it five stars but theres a glitch in the software were game is not properly counted and is way off. We’ve seen instances where you get a 10 for the flags you for zero and manually counting. The cards is very rarely accurate.

Overall is a good platform to learn and play pitch. The game scoring needs to be investigated. We’ve had more than a few games where we scored over 21 first and didnt win the game.

Overall the game is great, but many many played hands the card points are given to the other team. Our team would clearly win the low card (deuce) but at the end of the hand the point was awarded to the other team. We think its a glitch and needs to be fixed. Fun game but Annoying it does this!

Partner outbid us 11 on ace ten and three. Enough said.

Reviewed and incorrectly took our low away from us when we won the hand.

We’ve opted to play with the player who plays low gets the point, but when we lay, it is still awarded to the player who captures low.

Great game. Need a better partner.

The AI is garbage too much of the time. Bidding to go in and then leading with a 4 only to end up having an Ace or a Queen, etc in the deck. So frustrating cause the bones of a great game are here and should be an easy fix.

The developer response to lopsided dealing is the computer plays better at upper levels? What kind of response is that? Dealing should be random at all levels of play. How you play the cards dealt to you is up to you! How many times can your opponent have ace king queen? This goes on forever! So done with this app. The opposition has aces every single hand now.

The rules customization is awesome but the game setting keeps reverting itself to the 10 is one point. Also, we could do without having to press continue every hand for no reason Update – we talked with a dev and we figured out the glitch was actually how the rules were configured. They made a change and now its working flawlessly with the settings that Im used to playing IRL. Im very impressed with how it went and would give more than 5 stars if we could.

We’ve played pitch for over 40 years and have never been beaten so bad as by this game. We just lost about a dozen straight and it was ugly. Sorry the cards just dont fall like that. We checked the difficulty setting and it was only 3. Id hate to see it play at level 5.

Such fun, How can we invite a partner? Such fun How can we invite sa partner?

Wish we could add names of people instead of North, South.

The settings that you choose do not hold. The specifics are that even though you turn the button on for Dealer Steal or for Game worth One Point or for Minimum Bid it never changes. We are talking about changing from minimum bid of 2 changed to 3 and at anytime and any game in the future you are still allowed to bid 2. Sometimes game gets counted in, sometimes it doesnt. Which is absurd. Dealer can never steal. Which is also absurd. These change the whole strategy of Pitch.

Very good game. Just wish it were programmed to play 10s more sensibly.

Shouldnt be a new deck every time, you always get killed by AI, Kinda takes the learning aspect out of it.

We play pitch all the time. This game is not close to reality of how the game goes.

The AI plays like it has a learning disability. Also, we dont care what the developers say, the cards are not randomly generated the opponents get WAY too many monster hands, especially when behind. It is still the best one on the market, but it needs improvement.

Was very excited to find game we used to play with family. AI settings are frustrating. Goes from one setting where opponents consistently get all amazing and complimentary hands to down one step where all ai are dumb as bricks. Fun for a while but gets frustrating due to the imbalance.

We like this game a lot. Id love it if they would include the version we learned to play where you deal 6 cards. Once trump Is decided all hands discard whatever they want ( usually all but trump) and redraw from the deck to fill up their 6 card hand. More fun! The. Id give 6stars!

Computer automated and rigged. Make it live players.

The bots play like an idiot would. Anyone who actually plays this game in RL should avoid this trash version.

The players including our partner bid poorly and play like idiots. They bid 3 then lead the Duce. Then play the ace after they are set. Stupid.

Low setting only works one way. If our team has low and other team takes trick, they get credit for low, no matter the setting. That should be addressed, the make the game correct.

The game is so lopsided by the computer, theres no winning.

Ads are minimal. Game ia fun to olay.

It is fantastic to finally find a computer-based 9-5 setback game. Only issue is the computer always gives low to the computer hand.

Good time kill but a lot to be desired. Weird scoring hiccup around low truck but still free and fun.

Certain features in the custom game worked initially and then stopped. We have one point for shoot the moon selected, have won every trick and it still doesnt give the point any more. We’ve tried resetting, getting rid of and reloading game, etc.

We must be misunderstanding the rules that we cant find.

We havent been able to finish a game yet.

We have been using this sit and enjoying Pitch!! Recently, changes! Our 9-card deal went down to SIX. We checked SETTINGS, went through every single pertinent choice – all exactly our preferences INCLUDING 9 card deal. We start to play the game and six cards are dealt. This continues.

The game has been very fun. We wish the system would not have the computerized player throw in Low when they know it is not protected. Not a realistic type of play. Just happened where player to our left played first, off trump, our partner played a 2 with 2 trump face cards still available. The 3rd player played a trump king and we lost low. This would not happen in real life.

The most comprehensive settings we’ve found in a pitch game, however it is very obvious you are playing with 3 computers. The game is illogical and past the point of being unfair. Its inaccurate in the dealing of cards and style of play when compared to the real decks with real, logical, humans.

Overall not bad, but many times the hands are played totally incorrectly. For example: the computer will lead with the 2 of trump while holding Ace, Jack and 2. Absolutely the wrong play. Or while holding Ace, king and 2, the computer will play Ace and then another card instead of following with the king of trump (its called swinging to capture the jack or any other trump in the game. That play also lets your partner throw points to you toward the game point. Computer has Ace-deuce and leads the deuce? Stupid way to play Downloading a different app.
