RULE CUSTOMIZATIONS

Best bot partner in any bidding/trump game Ive ever had.
There are certain game rules that no matter how many times changed will not stick, would be 5 if this issue did not exist.
Opponents(bots) are very aggressive bidders. Rarely do you get good hands.
One of the easier to use apps. Nice job on the UX. However it absolutely does the scoring wrong and awards points to the wrong teams. We have followed the other comments and reset the settings. Issue still happens. Hey support team – stop saying its an issue and roll out a patch.
We love playing Pitch (aka setback) but we hadnt been able to find a good app to play it. This one makes it easy to maneuver the game & we like all the different settings for rules & that you can change the options to anyway you like. A+++.
Used to be great but now the ads freeze the app and have to constantly close and restart. Not worth the time.
We like the game, but theres basically an ad after every round. It really makes us play a lot less than Id like.
Easy to play, lots of options but deleted after maybe 20 games. Mainly because of an ad every other hand dealt, maybe had 1 bid out of the 20 games, AI team had 3+ bids every hand/game. We would love to have a chance to play but didnt. Constantly overbid. Deleted app.
It doesnt follow the rules of following suit.
Games fun but after every hand there is an adwill be deleting.
Game has started awarding points to the wrong player. For instance, an Ace of the called suit takes the low card of that suit. At the end of the hand, the low card ends up in the winning card pile of the player who played that card, instead of the player who played the Ace.
We really enjoy the customization feature. We have been able to modify the rules to almost match the version we play with friends. The partner often plays and bids like someone who is fairly new to the game. Bidding 7 on 3 or 4 trump cards without Ace, King or 3. If we lead with the Ace, partner wont lay the 3 in their hand. Partner will lay the 3 for opponents to take when partner has a 2 and we could have taken the 3 on the next lay.
Fun game. Should be an option for the dealer to run the cards, meaning, the dealer has the option to reject the bids from the 1st round of bids and deal 3 additional cards to each player to start a second round of bidding. Bidding can be handled the. In 2 ways, 2nd round of bidding can be required to start at 1 point higher than the highest bid from the first round or could start at the maximum bid from the first round. Dealer can also be required to take the bid called screw the dealer if all players pass on bidding, forcing the dealer to bid 1 point higher than the highest bid from the first round. The AI could also use some help. Ive seen multiple times, even on higher AI settings, where AI players will lead a jack of Trump when they have other options to play and higher trumps have not been played. The result is that point card is captured unnecessarily. These are plays any remotely experienced human would never make.
The layout and play is really nice. It is uncanny how many hands the opponents get dealt 4 or even 5 cards in the trump you call. Very skewed to the opponents. Dont know why.
Our partner just followed the opponents 10 of diamonds with the Trump suit 2 of diamonds, when Trump diamonds were NOT led??? In addition, our partner frequently plays a 10 of a non-Trump, non-led suit , when it has zero value other suit cards to play off. The logic in this game is flawed.
Good game but annoying ads every 30 seconds.
We often notice that when we clearly win the low point it is assigned to the other team.
Love the game and customization options! However, the computer partner makes too many simple gameplay errors. If you have the Ace, lead with it 99% of the time for your partner to play low.
At the end of each hand, game doesnt always give a team the correct cards. Example: we won a hand that included the low card. In this case it was a 2. But at the end it gave low to the wrong team. This has happened more than once.
We love this game, and being able to customize the rules is great! The only downside is the points will get messed up. There has been multiple times where we get say the low card while playing pitch, but the other team will get the point for it. If it wasnt for that, itd be perfect.
Teammate has ace king ten. Opponent has a 5 and a Jack. Our teammate bids 3 and leads with the ace, opponent throws the 5. Our teammate then leads the 10 which is taken by the opponent with the Jack. Terrible logic.
First few times we played hardly any ads now a week in and theres an overwhelming amount of ads. Id pay to go ad free if that were an option. Instead Ill delete app and find a new one that hopefully doesnt have so many.
We won the game you said we lost reviewed the game and it showed you gave low to them when we had low.
Where we are from the dealer can make a run by dealing 3 more cards. Example being if someone, generally the opposing team, bids 2 then the dealer can deal 3 more cards but the bid would now have to be 3. If no one bids on front of the dealer then the dealer must bid 3. We think that should be an option added to the game.
Everythings good about the game but it doesnt have the two as a point as a point for you team.
Since you changed things, the game is no longer accurate. We will lose, and you have our team as winning. The cards will show up as being won by one team, but they were actually won by the other! It used to be completely accurate. Now it is NOT! Please fix.
We really enjoy playing pitch however, where we live not many people have heard of the game. So we rely on these apps. Yours had been the best. Now we have discovered a big flaw in the program , it doesnt like to lose. We have changed the settings. We have deleted the app and reinstalled it but it still is the same.. When east or west has the bid each of them will have 3-4 trump in hand.., when our partner has trump we have none. Our partner bids 3 consistently and loses 80% of those bids. Lastly when we are left with the bid we will not have any face cards in our hand at least 75% of the time we are not a hard loser Im still playing and we will win a game or two. We have learned to only bid when you have an ace because your opponent has it ! We only want to let you know what we think we have noticed about your game we have played others and we will stick with yours.. We were hoping you could make it a little more fair Thanks Norm we are still having the same issue with your game you took the time and responded to us and said that it was all random however we dont really believe it we will admit that we make mistakes and we are not a perfect player. But the constant three bids by our partner and we can see that he doesnt even have three trump in his hand is wrong and that is definitely on you Please look into this Thank you, Norm.
While playing we noticed a discrepancy in scoring results at the end of a hand. This happened several times on different games on different days and games. We were not getting scored correctly on hand after reviewed the hands in replay to make sure.
Our family and we play a version of Pitch called Skinch. Since all of the rules in this app are able to be customized, we were able to match the rules to the exact way we play! This is the first time we were able to replicate our real game on an app.
This would be a five star rating if the app didnt constantly interrupt the audio Im listening to with ads. We understand that ads are the income stream, but there has to be a way to keep them muted.
Love the game. Can configure fairly nicely. Love the play back features. Some suggestions for improvement: Configure to allow bigger symbols for the suits on the cards played. Can be difficult to distinguish clubs from spades for these old eyes. Configure the time before removing the cards from a completed trick. Often cant catch the last card played. For rules configuration, it would be great to have a rule that junk points are allowed except to win. Must make your bid, and only gets points for the bid – no extra points. That would match our local rules. Thanks.
Just recently Ive noticed an error in scoring. We would claim a jack or 2 but at the end of the round, it would give the jack or 2 to the computer opponent. Noticed it twice in the last 2 days. Frustrating to play like that.
Game is well designedbutI play competitive level pitch. We put settings at max competitiveness. We see computer making tons of unforced errorstrumping in on nothing hands, and lots of unnecessary 10s thrown when not needed. We have many pics of terrible plays by computer. Happy to share.
Ive been playing this game for quite some time. Ive noticed recently that there are many mistakes in counting for points. For instance, we will play a king. Somebody plays the seven maybe a 10 and then the two all of the same suit. At the end of the game, they have awarded high to us, but low to our opponent. This happens quite frequently when Im playing.
The card distribution algorithm is biased. Even out the card suits and values so the player has an equal chance against the computer.
We had to quickly improve our game as our husband and we frequently play when visiting our friends and we were the only non-player. We did improve by using your app. So much so that Ive noticed mistakes several times. For example, the game will subtract our teams points because it mistakenly credits our opponent and penalizes us! For example, they get a point for low when our team clearly had the low card. Or they are credited with high when we got high. Not always. Not a big deal, but frustrating nonetheless. You just dont count right sometimes. Ive tried deleting and re-installing several times to see if youve made upgrades or improvements yet.
Favorite card game to play by far! 9 out of 10! We would give it a 10 out of 10 if they could give the option to have 2 jokers (ranked below the 2) A lot of us northerners play with 2 jokers below the two. Any chance we could get the 2 joker option.
Overall, good app. However, theres a glitch with giving the opposing team the low trump if you win the hand.
When you were able to under Trump, your partner, you shouldnt be able to do that to get low home.
This has been o e if our favorites but with the upgrade they are blasting us with TEMU ads! Our understanding is that this Chinese company is offering low prices to get your information. We hope we deleted the app in time.
We love pitch. Love the app. We appreciate the short adds. Please take it to the next level, please add online/multiplayer option. Only complaint; Sometimes the ads are buggy. Occasionally, they do not load or they stop. This causes the user to close app/restart. Game is lost.
Computer calls suite that it has no counter cards in. Repeatedly plays the wrong card.
Several times now the computer has assigned point cards to the wrong team. Kinda kills the game.
The quality of play. Y the computer players needs to improve. They are poor pitch players.
Overall not bad, but many times the hands are played totally incorrectly. For example: the computer will lead with the 2 of trump while holding Ace, Jack and 2. Absolutely the wrong play. Or while holding Ace, king and 2, the computer will play Ace and then another card instead of following with the king of trump (its called swinging to capture the jack or any other trump in the game. That play also lets your partner throw points to you toward the game point. Computer has Ace-deuce and leads the deuce? Stupid way to play Downloading a different app. Dumb! Dealer gets stuck and bids 3.
Love this game! Was able to modify the game to our liking. Play all the time.
We love this app. Our grandparents taught our brother and we how to play pitch a few months ago and we love it. Since we cant always be together, this app is a great way to still play. We love how customizable everything is, you can even change the names of the AI players and the colorizations for the cards and table. We typically play 5-point with a few rules that our grandpa likes to add in, with this app it was so easy to create and use the custom set of rules that mirrors exactly how our family plays.
They dont really play according to Connecticut 9-5 after a person post for the nine, the other partner never post bidders other partner.
Great game. Ads are annoying. We'd purchase the game if you add dark mode.
Please give an option to make a one time purchase so we dont have to have ads.
