Amanita Designs is known for their surreal, yet gorgeous artwork, and this particular game is one of their grass-roots originals. Every game from this studio has a delightful charm, and, whilst its an older title, it still is enjoyable. Tomas Dvoraks music is one of the best parts of every game this studio has made. This game is a bit strange in the graphics department, using real, albeit, heavily compressed images of peoples faces in unison with hand-drawn art, and other formats. If you like early animation and early point-and-clicks, you cannot go wrong with this game.
Its a click through problem solving game that, from start to finish, takes about 10 minutes to complete.
We love it, the game isn't so long and it's very fun to play… Let's you problem solve and observe everything around.
This was a very cute game and it was fun. Like everyone else has said it is short, but it was very entertaining. Thank you for such a neat short fun game.

We really like the style of this game. It may be short, but makes up for the lack of content with the abstract visuals. We've had dreams of stuff like this before, and this perfectly invisions those into a playable game. If you're free for 10 minutes and looking for a different game, we strongly reccomend you give this game a shot.
We loved this game just as much as machinarium, another game by Amanita, but it's a ten minute game. Five star if it was longer, but it's still fun, and we love the graphics.
Its very short we wish there was more to it. If you lie a game with nature, abtract, and it requires a lot of thining, this is the game for you.
This game was absolutely amazing! We loved the art style and gameplay wish there was more to the story though. But we did get the bundle thing where we get every single game from this studio, and we dont regret it.
We looked through the reviews and we really dont know why there are bad reviews. This was a great game, we loved the animation style it was a cute game it was a little hard to figure out what to do and once we did we felt kind of silly that we didnt think of it before. It was a short game but totally worth it! We would honestly recommend the game.

Samorost 1 and its 2 sequels are possibly the most enjoyable and unique pieces of media ever created, and can be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone.

If you want a really long game dont get this one it is a pretty short game but a an amazing game it is worth it.
The visual styles are gorgeous and nuanced variations of a modern fairy tale The sound and ambiance is stunningly beautiful and peaceful on the mind.

Im picky about games, and these guys dont disappoint. We loved Machinarium and Botanicula, and we finally got around to Samorost 1 (updated recently, btw). True to their style, it has gorgeously atmospheric music, beautiful backgrounds with their signature collage of nature and steampunk, adorable characters, and a whimsical game play that requires a creative, open mind. It makes us laugh! Now onto Samorost 2 and 3.
We love the imagery and connections with nature in the Samarost games. The trees, moss, fauna and other flora are so beautifully colorful and textured. They remind us of the importance and peace of being outside in the forest, but in an adventure game setting. Creativity/artistry 10/10.
We never heard of this game before but since it had great ratings we had to try it. We found it quite frustrating at first since we didnt have a clue what to do, but once we figure out the working man screen, the rest kinda fell into place. Lol. Wish it longer, but then we came here to write this review we noticed that there ARE more parts (2 & 3), so we guess Im going to have to buy part 2 now. Lol.
A short little gem to introduce you to their other titles. Downloading 3 off the arcade now.
This game our sister introduced us to but she introduced the third one. We fell in love so we bought the pack of them as well as other games from this creator. We have never had a more relaxing beautiful game. If this game could be real life we would pay the world to be in it. Its such a amazing cute beautiful game and we have probably downloaded it more that 12 times. 11/10 please get its so worth it.
We were incredibly pleased to find this game randomly in the app store after searching for it for a very long time. We remember it vividly from our childhood- it holds up very well. Beautiful quality graphics, good puzzles, nice ambient interesting music. Really cool, thank you for remastering it.
We played this game because it looked cool. Its a short game but it was pretty interesting. We loved the art style and the concept of the game. The soundtrack was also good. Would recommend to play.

Cute little game, reminiscent of The Manhole or Cosmic Osmo. Very, very short but Fun while it lasted.
Took us around 10 minutes to 20 minutes to complete. We really enjoyed this game and it was a nice short lived puzzle to play while in bed.

We remember playing this when we were like 7 not knowing what we were doing but we were so hooked for some reason. Ive been trying to find this for years and now Ive finallly found it.
We love this game, it is an amazing story/puzzle game we cant really complain about the length of the game because its a remaster so its not the developers fault but we loved it. The game gives us vibes from other games Ive played the music is amazing. The animation and characters are so unique. Its a true gem.
We enjoyed this game very much! Quite quaint, and we loved the art style. Most of all loved the little guys voice. Unfortunately it is short, why it is to us is unknown. We would get 2 and 3 but, currently we dont enjoy the game that much to buy it, perhaps we could play it again. We like how it is a non-instructive game, as it makes it slightly the more challenging. Over all though, we recommend the game to any one who likes a small, cute adventure when bored! Very satisfying.
Ive played creaks, and machinarium a couple years ago and apparently they were made by the same people so we decided to check out there other games. To be honest the samorost games are pretty good. The first samorost game is kinda like a demo for the other games. Dont believe people who gave this game a bad rating, its not our fault that their bad at the game. We only gave it four stars because of how short it is but we understand it was made in 2003 and probably was just made for fun.
Samorost 1 is a very nice 6 level game for anyone who wants to be entertained for about 20 minutes. We ended up getting 2&3 and finishing those. The games get bigger as they go.
Some of it is just repeated tapping of the same objects, but not hard to figure out the rest. Just a bit too short. Was hoping for more of a challenge, but cute game nonetheless.
Personally liked the sequel and Machinarium a bit more, but it was still fun going back to revisiting our childhood. :D.
We dont know what to do we clicked the metal thing and went to a planet and got to. Part where the guy went up with skies please tell us what to do.
Ive seen this game from time to time and always wondered about it. It looked so interesting and was rated so highly. So we finally decided to download it. We watched the intro, waited for it to begin. We got to the first place where apparently you start the game. A man smoking, little creatures all around. We tapped here and there since there was no clue about where to start. One creature moved, then moved back. The man smoked. That was it. We tapped and tapped all over the place and nothing happened. We know some people enjoy games that give you no information or instruction. Im not one of those people.
What a mega stupid game. Stuck in 2 nd scene, no help, no goal, no guideline. Dont waste your time.
Im sorry maybe its just us but we find this game to b completely boring and just plain dumb. No offense. We thought this would b some cute fun adventure game and it was so not.
There are no instructions on what to do or what the game even is, we cant get past the first part because nothing happens when we press anywhere.
