Description
Samorost 2 tells a surreal story of a space gnome whose dog just got kidnapped by mischievous aliens. Set out on a short expedition to rescue the pup, deal with curious strangers and relax to the soothing music by Tomáš "Floex" Dvořák.

Hundred stars for a fresh and much needed maturing of what games could be. Not sure if it’s a new ios bug bit Sam2 is stuck at the second screen. He can’t move out of the hut. Update, it’s Not a bug. LoL just our deficient skills. We love these folks! The change from 2 to 3 is a delight. Great work!
We really enjoyed this game. The art, the sweet storyline, and characters are amazing. Great job ! Those complaining, should be ashamed, if you want longer version pay and play all the chapters. Wont cost you more than buying a $6.99 boring point and click game or the purchases you make on free 2 play for obtaining coins or hints ..
Yup, if you dont get it right the first time, fergetaboutit. Same w the bugs in tat panel. Its a once only deal.

Its fun game but its too short! We finished it in less than 1 hour !!
Just played game and like many have said it is really a short game. The game is also very enjoyable. That aside if paying only $3.00 for 30 min. Of fun goes towards more games from this dev, then Im all in.

We love the Amanita games because they are charming, intelligent and just plain fun. Games like Samorost and Botanicula have a non-gruesome and fanciful appeal to both kid/ parent teams and seniors just looking for some humorous brain stimulation. It seems that 98% of escape puzzle games are aimed at adolescent males, offering up either violent action or demonic forces. We are NOT an adolescent or arrested development male, but we DO have both dollars and time to spend, and cant wait for the next idea spinning out of Amanita. What IS next, team?
Yes, the game is short, but the rest is on par with their other releases in terms of creativity, difficulty and game play. If youre a fan of Sam3 or Machinarium, youll love this game. Its certainly worth 99 cents.

The low rating of this game is totally undeserved and utterly unfair. Its short, fine, but priced at 1$ is definitely a steal. If you then add that it has wonderful graphics, funny characters, humorous storyline and challenging tasks to accomplish, you cant give it less than five stars. Kudos to the developers for the hard work and the excellent result!
Yes, its not your regular amanita long games; but the creativity and artistry is as beautiful and amazing, and with a touch of humor. To Amanita: please update the game for all ipads; still lots of bugs and frozen little guy who would not move.

Yes, this is a pretty short game. BUT the level of creativity and charm that goes into their games. People complain when they spend a few dollars on a game – but its nothing! Think about the number of hours that go into making something like this. Machinarium, Botanicula, and Samarost 3 are some of the best and most delightful games we’ve ever played. And they make us smile! How many games can do that? We live in such a jaded world. Its lovely to see this kind of ingenuity and ingenuousness. Im ok spending a few dollars to live in Amanitas playful imagination even briefly.
We have all waited a long time for another version of this game and for it to be something that we can finish the same day we download it! Hope they plan on releasing more chapters for free!
Cute, but about 1/10 as long as Samarost 3.
Well done game like other Amanita games but very glitchy on iPad. Game hangs up, a feature wont work and you have to go back through a previous and repeat to unlock it. Very annoying.
Like other reviewers, this is a fun game. We played the third game first and thought we would give the second one a try. While it is a fun game, you can beat the entire thing in about 30 minutes. We were expecting something much longer. Really disappointed. We think $1.99 MAYBE. But $2.99 feels like a bit of a rip off for a game that lasts 30 minutes.
Loved the first one as it had no glitches. Was really excited when we saw this one at the App Store. But sadly, we deleted it 2 minutes after downloading and we want our money back. The gnome doesnt even move after the landing in first scene. Regardless where we clicked and what we tried, it just wouldnt move. To developers: you think perhaps ironing out bugs would make sense before selling an unplayable game? No?

Would have been fun, if it lasted more than 10 minutes. Waste of money. You should refund everyone who purchased this game, if you can call it that.
Im a big fan of Amanita games, so we were pretty excited to see Samorost 2. But it is so glitchy we cant play it on our iPhone. The little hero is difficult to move and currently he is stuck in the gourd in the second scene. We cannot get him to move at all. So disappointed.
If youre making a paid for game it should be long than a 20 minute game. Cmon.

In the last scene with the old man a red error bar appears once you fill the spaceship with gas. Game locks at this point. Hope you can find a fix or else it was for nothing… Even though it was a short game. We love all amanita games and never encountered an error before.
Game was fun and we liked the puzzles, but we played through the whole thing in under an hour.
Thats the whole game??? Really? Basically, someone takes his dog, then he gets his dog back, and then he goes home. Thats the game. It took us about 30 minutes to finish.
The first game was longer. We still enjoyed the second part but its way too short, almost feels like a demo version. Otherwise we would give a 5 star.
