Ive been playing this now for a few weeks as we dont want to use a hint, so we make some progress every day! What a delightful game! Challenging yet entertaining! We second what the other five star reviewers have written! We also have played all of their games and will joyfully continue. Shame on reviewers giving less than five stars because they couldnt understand it or didnt play it on the best system. Kudos to the writers and programmers.

Our kid is in the middle of Bodkin Hall and were loving it. Its smart, and funny. Challenging but not too much for her (shes 12). But our phone is dying so Im finally upgrading. Shes going to lose all her progress, and well have to start over again. Gaaahhh so disappointing.
A complete joy. So much fun – story, characters and dialogue, puzzles – for hours. There is sparkling wit here with many engaging puzzles that, when solved, make one relish every bit of the process. These games are simply that good, so much so, that it is difficult to say which ones we have enjoyed more. They are all worth it. Kudos! And please continue to create as you do.
This is far and away the most engaging, funny, well-thought out game we have played for quite some time. We wouldnt have made it through without hints, but now that we understand how the brilliant developer minds work, we cant wait to try their previous games.
- Wonderful artwork, great character design, really well written + Has an official text only hint system, wonderful for nudges towards clues rather than having to sit thru a video. + Puzzles that make you feel like youre actually solving them, not just memorizing info from one place and sticking it in another. – Makes more sense if youve played the other games from mysterycapers. (But why wouldnt you? Theyre all fantastic) – idiosyncratic navigation continues to confound us. (Its far different from most 2d puzzle games) – a few puzzles are way too mathematician for us.
This has become one of our favorite games because of the developers unique and witty style. The characters from previous games reappear and build up the story, and are quite entertaining. We liked the ending and cant wait for more from MysteryCaper!! Our favorite part is the hint system via the website. If you have a question, the developer usually responds that day or the next.
Ive played all of these games, some of them multiple times. The Beast is another winner. Great puzzles, familiar characters and you really get the sense youre at the party. We grab these as soon as they are out and always eagerly await the next one.
Ive enjoyed playing every single mystery caper game. We love the puzzles, the unique point and click style, and how you engage with the characters. The stories always make sense and you can tell the developers pour their heart into these games. We cant wait to see what else the team has in store.
We LOVE all the MysteryCaper games. They are bright and cheery. The illustrations, dialogue, puzzles-all amazing. And the website with hints if you need them is genius. Being able to have a hint before seeing the answer as well as explanations for each clue is much better than watching a walkthrough video. Please make more.
5 stars – graphics (we like modern graphics) 4 stars – navigation (smooth transitions; no instructions on how to direct dialog) 2 stars – puzzles (no in-game hints for this price?! Some guessing; some make no sense whatsoever) 2 stars – value for price.
Deleted the game after 30 minutes. The controls are terrible and the gameplay is confusing. The English translation is also so poor it was really hard to read. Wish we hadnt spent the money.
