Hear from the Players – Double Cover Reviews

Find out what gamers are saying about Double Cover:

We are sad that this is the last game by these developers for us to play. We really hope they come out with another game in the near future. We love how they have little throw backs in each of their games referencing their other games. We really like how they have set up their online hint guides to reveal only hints if needed and not just solutions. You can tell that these developers have really put a lot of time, thought and effort in these games. We have played all their games and have not experienced one glitch. Keep up the great work and looking forward to what is next.

Just finished this and it was a lot of fun. Cute, winning art, ingenious puzzles, and witty dialogue. Lots of fun little details scattered throughout to reward those paying attention. Though this looks and plays like a slick offering from a big company like LucasArts, the folks at Mystery Caper are very accessible and responsive to any questions.

We enjoyed this game. Glad there were hints online though.

We had no problems with this on either an iPad mini 2 or a iPad Air 3. Loved the touches of humor. Weve played fleeting journey, fleeting memory, and now double cover. Love your online hint system, although most puzzles were a good medium level, and we were happy to hunt around a little to figure things out. All three games were fun, but this one was our favorite. Please make more, wed love to buy them!

UPDATED REVIEW The developer kindly responded to our question below and we were able to resolve the problem. The solution was to drag the chat bubble to Trevor, not just click on it. Thank you for your reply! OLD REVIEW we really like this game but we are unable to get into the shed or talk to Trevor even after looking at the lightbulb. What am we missing? Every time we try to use the chat bubble to talk to Trevor, we only get a response from Mahrute. We followed the hint guide online.

Very enjoyable, yet a little tricky. Perfect combination. Characters were a great satire, without too much dialogue.

We love this game. We’ve played all but the Museum one. Although we cant seem to find our way back into the conference room. Idk if its a glitch; but we’ve clicked every inch trying to get back. Help! UPDATE No longer stuck. Passed the game! We were overlooking the directional arrow and confusing it with going into the streets with the Sheriffs office and Alley Way. If we paid more attention, we would learn that the arrow leads to the Conference Room. Thanks for the immediate response though!

We were very pleased with this game. It had a really long gameplay, was interesting enough to keep you hooked, and we really like the game style. Its unique, and different. We really enjoyed playing this game. We hope the developers create more similar to this one :)

Mystery point and click adventure game that is clever, witty and fun! Great characters and interesting story line. Long game play. We really enjoyed this and look forward to other games by this dev.

Super fun point-and-click game wrapped in a mystery with touches of humor along the way. We’ve loved all 3 of these games! Please make more!

Cool game, puzzles were difficult enough. Some of the drag controls were a little annoying though and unresponsive. Theres no labels for items or areas you drag the items on to use them on. Theres a lot of things close together so even on an iPad ther needs to be labels for things that you are trying to drag items on, same thing works for clicking. Show us a name of what Im clicking on, not just a description. The dialogue is confusing too, someone just pops up a thought bubble and youre supposed to click each item but then the dialogue box will disappear and you have to start again, you should be able to drag items to characters to see if they can use them.
