HOW TO PLAY EXPLODING KITTENS® 2

- Each player plays as many cards as they like on their turn OR passes!
- The player then draws a card to end their turn. If it’s an EXPLODING KITTEN, they’re out (unless they have a handy Defuse card).

Our sincere review When we create a room with our friends to play, we should be able to decide how many cards there can be in a deck to draw from. The game currently only let you draw from a deck of 15 cards even when youre the host of the room, making the game really short and is not enjoyable to play with friends. In 2-3 minutes or sometimes even less, a match is done. We hope the game developers allow us to draw from a deck of at least 30 cards or how many cards we want to or in the best scenario, we can adjust what cards are in the deck when youre the host of the room playing with friends. Thank you.
Buncha people who just afk and ruin it for everyone.
Single player allows for more than a single ai which was our main gripe of the first game. Decks are fun with more to come.
The game has several bugs such as images not showing up, icons not showing up, some text placeholder "new text" that shows up when a match ends, players aren't put on a timer after they've used shuffle (some players exploit it). Dont get us wrong, the game is awesome and we understand it came out today. Will revise our review as bugs get fixed. Thank you.
We can click on Find a Game and see several pending games with under 5 players. But when we click on one we just get the loading icon. Nothing ever happens and there is no way to exit the screen unless you quit the app. Very buggy still.
We really want to like this but it is kinda buggy and terribly slow. The animations are fun but they force the game to slow down and meander along. Wish you could quicken up the pace of animations. Also the game feels buggy. We can't get multiplayer to load and get caught in loading screens for almost everything except play by ourselves. We love the card game and still play the first version of this game. Some tweaks here and there can really make this a must have.
Improvements to the graphics and audio but that came at the cost of playability. The game frequently misses finger swipes and has regular crashes when you keep trying to get the same swipe to work. Playing a card is not easy like in the first game. We feel like we are fighting our screen. There are lots of fillergraphics that slow the game down. Stop with those. Just let us play a card and move the game forward. We dont want to watch that cloud thing again for the 100th time. It doesnt make the game better. Worst part: There is at least another $20 of in-game purchases to get the full game. We think Matthew Inman is great so we are wondering if he knows that this comes off as a poorly constructed cash grab.
Our boyfriend and we were very excited to play this when it came out, but immediately when we started playing we noticed that the game was buggy and the animations feel way too slow. The game lacks the charm that the first game had like all the characters for your profile pictures, sound effects, etc. We appreciate the effort that was put in for the art direction but we feel like the devs had their priorities in the wrong place. If we were to change things, Id remove unnecessary animations that take away from the games pace, fix the bugs, and give us more for buying micro transactions aside from just pure cosmetics (especially because the game already costs $5-$14 USD as it is).
Edit a long time later: The crashing in online mode has never been fixed. Please fix the crash-upon-explode bug in online multiplayer! Other than that, the game lives up to the sterling Marmalade standards.
We love the mechanics and the other stuff but theres no 5 of a different to go into the discard pile and get a defuse or something.
Exploding kittens is a fun game its like uno but with cats and death playing its super fun.
We only need zombie kittens and good vs evil and we need to be able to making our own games and maybe the board game,+ maybe naming the ai+ we created costumes:)+costume creator.

This game is awesome but why sending your address to play with others? Though its still fun and awesome but why sending your personal information? Its dangerous for us if Im like literally 8-9.

Had lots of fun because we couldnt lose what so ever and bundle worth it for 6$ you get both games and theyre both fun and funny.
This game is fun but could the packs in the shop be free? The game would probably be way more popular.
So when we play this game fun yes but when we put a Emil for a bubble Aucant but it keep not letting us so if you read this please fix it so we can have a bubble aucant.
It is to high quality but we dont care.
We love this game it is sooo fun to play with friends!The only reason we are giving it four stars is because it kicks us out if we win or if we are playing streaking kittens still really fun but frustrating.
Its a lot of fun but it constantly crashes and wipes ,y gameplay. Also youre paying 5 dollars for only quick game. Everything else is behind a 10 dollars for paywall. We dont need everything for free but one other game mode would be nice considering his is a paid game already.
They are making us pay extra to invite friends and overall the amount of extra things you have to pay for is crazy.
We love playing this with our little one, but we will not be paying for additional content more decks or anything like that.
The game is very Well designed. You can tell the developers wanted to give us our moneys worth. Not a fan of the micro transactions though. Mostly the use of Bubble for multiplayer is horrible and almost made us want to return the game. This is Apple space, things should be simple and not about all the info collecting and wasted time to play a game. Again, great game, Bubble ruins it. Removed one more star, because when we added our wife as a friend, whose code we had in completion, 50 million digits, its still made her. Enter our code to friend us. Pointless? We think so. Again we just want to enjoy the game sitting next to each other, or our children who are in college, why do we have to do this? Game is great though.
This game is fun when you are board and it takes some getting used to but when you know how to play its very fun.
Going on trips with this is so fun.
Dont buy if you have exploding kittens too because if you just buy this one, you cant really get streaking kittens or any other deck without having to pay.

When youre paying by yourself, the expansion pack should be cost money.
It was it really easy to play things. We didnt know that you could do in the game. We suggest the game and let you play it with your friends and family.
We think that even though u have 2 sign in its really easy and even though the expansion pack costs a lot its better than going to a store and buy 1 expansion pack for 20$ or more.
The game has greatly improved since launch and is fun to play. Keep up the updates.
The game is just like the bordgame.
So we love the game so far we love playing with our sibling and we only have one small error, which is it disconnects us whenever we have 3 players including us left on the game so we would love for you to fix that other than that its a pretty nice game.

We think the cards are really good. After a week of playing we enjoyed the see the further card to help you. We also like the card that lets you pick up exploding kittens that unlocks a new way to play. Our favorite rule is if you have three of a kind you get to see every card they have that is OP because when you take a card you know there over cards.
We LOVE the avatars! So CUTE! Also, getting to play the new Streaking Kittens Expansion is impressive! The Streaking Kitten card is OVERPOWERED with the ability to let you hold an Exploding Kitten! BEST. GAME. EVER!!! X3.
One of the funniest and fun games in the app store.
This game is very enjoyable with or without friends. Its definitely worth the price tag. Our only complaint is that only the base game deck is included in the game with the others locked behind a paywall.
The graphics and animations are really great but the game glitches from time to time and its inconvenient during game play & tends to freeze. Besides those issues overall a great game to play.
We love the game exploding kittens but our we pad is not able to run it it will just crash please fix this other than that it is good.

We just you didnt have to pay 10$ to get the any other deck then the base exploding kittens deck if you dont want to pay money if you have a Netflix account you can get the normal exploding kittens game because the exploding kittens 2 without the pass is basically the same.
It took us a minute to get used to the new interface since we were so used to the original but now we really love this new version. We do wish the cards were more visible during game play – they are partially cut off even when its your turn so could be confusing to new players. We also wish we could use our Apple Pencil with it so hopefully that will be a feature in the future. Overall very happy with the purchase and we just got the expansion packs too.
Game is good but it cost way to much money but at least its free from playing single player we think that they should make playing with friends and random people free.
