Community Insight:

First time writing a review, but we had to for this game. The details are amazing. The background details are amazing and the detail of the trains themselves are awesome inspiring. You can pinch and expand easily. Game play is fun. NO ads forced on you. Gotta give it the company. Must have been coded by a bunch of Sheldons GREAT GAME.

No response, we passed 1939 year event, but did not change to 1940, why.

We have been addicted to this game since the time that we downloaded it. Its fun and makes you use strategy. The graphics are terrific! We are midway through the 1950s and we have never spent money on it and have never felt the need to do so. For a free game, the ads are all extra and do not stop the flow ever. We can definitely see ourselves playing this again right away after our first run through. Keep up the good work.

We think this the best game in the world. The game has such smooth, graphic's and we have to say we love it how you actually make there be different years math games only have levels but in this game years are basically levels and we definitely recommend this game for train lovers like us.

We actually love this game, however our passenger trains stop showing up for us to send out passengers. We click the station and the screen kind of goes blank. Hopefully this is fixed soon, its hard to make money on just tasks.

This game is amazing, first things first the game is VERY realistic and can zoom in very closely and many other features that makes it completely different train station 2. We suggest you try it.

Great game few to many add and the game kills your battery. Fun concept and graphics are fun.

We were playing the game and sometimes when we try to craft stuff it only gives us partial or none at all. We made 100 nails and got 0 so much for all that. But other than that this game Is awesome and is really fun.

The game is a lot of fun but it is a battery killer. Im on an iPhone 16 pro max and it causes the phone to heat up and cook through battery. Hoping the developers can find a way to optimize it so its not taking so many resources to run.

We love the detail in this game. Theres some bugs like the performance and some visual errors but the game is so much fun to explore. Theres game feels very new but we hope it gets the love that TS2 has gotten. Our only request is that players can have more angles of gameplay and being able to drive with departing trains and allow more gameplay while on other maps.

Most Locomotives are really good but the freight cars are definitely European design instead of North American. That does dampen the effect in our opinion.

We understand ads. We have enjoyed this game and dropped a few bucks on it. The ads all take you to the internet causing a circle of clicking and sitting. Please fix this no game should give you an ad that forces on sending you to the internet and force you to purchase something.

This game is our go to game anytime we feel stressed or calmed us down all people should have this game it is awesome especially if you love trains like us.

Got stuck on the passenger trains. The game just says the station is full and to dispatch trains, but wont let us. Literally nothing left to do until this issue is resolved.

This could have been a really fun game us. However, the ridiculous durability ratings on the engines kill it. Why a developer would want you to only play their game for a few minutes every few hours baffles us.

Im really enjoying this game. The look, the tasks are fun. If we could actually play the game. It needs balancing. Can only actually play it for maybe 15 minutes. Then you are waiting for fuel or parts. Theres more downtime, than playtime. We are supportive and will spend real money to keep a game running but we would like to actually be able to play it. From other reviews we see the same . Sad because this is a really fun and beautiful game if you could spend time playing it.

Fun game but we must reboot all the time. Game freezes and fails to give rewards. We have double the requirements for memory.

After playing TS2 for so long, it took a little adjustments. Only complaint is that you can only play for a few minutes before you have to wait a hour for more fuel.

We have been playing for a while now and it seems like there is always some sort of issue or glitch. We completed the 1940s era three days ago and for some reason we cant move on to 150whats the point of playing a game if you cant advance.

It is a historical-ish time line-ish story which micromanaging of a train empire. The periodic side missions are way to difficult to complete without. The allotted time unless you live the game and dont have a life. But if you want to progress and build in a historical-ish game and have the wearables to tomb it is just a game. This this could be many hours of enjoyment for you.

We are enjoying it, the limiting factor looks to be "Advanced Parts" which are a bit scarce. It crashes sometimes because the 9th gen iPad only has 3 GB of memory.

Its an OK game but if you want to play for any length of time you need to spend money.lots of it.Another game we play for 10.00 a month you can play it 24/7. This game would cost 1000s of dollars a month. You either run out of fuel,Trains need maintenance,Factories need workers, all are very expensive to buy.The game is ok but not worth that kind of money.

Youll be watching ads more then playing Weird glitch where passenger trains are always waiting on rail, youll have to shut down and restart constantly. Very repetitive.

Gotta spend money to keep playing. Annoying.

We very much enjoy this game and will continue to play. A big selling point for us is the lack of forced ads and the incentivizing of watching ads for optional rewards. There are a couple minor issues we have with the game. First, optimization. Our phone heats up super quick while having the game open, and we realize a big part of that is the graphics. We love the detail on them, but we think further optimization should take place. Additionally, theres a minor annoying glitch that sometimes happens where we send a train to make a delivery or pick up supplies and it just stops before it leaves the map. It can be easily resolved by closing and reopening the game, but its still a small hassle nonetheless. Fix these two issues and its 5 stars from us.

Our app crashes consistently, super frustrating.

As a train lover we would suggest this game to anyone who plays it! Not going to lie it gets a bit boring for us after 30 mins but that might not be the same for you! ( it has good graphics too ).

Great game except events that take a day of two to update but its a good game.

We love this game its very fun and enjoyable.

Pretty good game. Wish you trade some completed items for maybe half value of needed items to complete a job. Instead of making a whole 300 count when you need like 10.

Our family and we LOVE LOVE LOVE trains! We have everything from N gauge to O gauge at home. The graphics in this game are absolutely stunning! The detail of the locomotives is so far beyond TS2, or any other train game on the market that we are just blown away. The latest upgrade has improved the look of the people in the story vignettes as well. Our only problem with this game is the ads, they take away from the enjoyment of playing because it is so hard to get out of them. The xs are not in the same place as the touch spot that we spend 3-5 minutes trying to exit a 30 second ad. We would happily pay for this game to avoid the ads, but we dont want to pay every month or so just to block the ads. Please release a 1-time pay option to get the game and make it ad-free. Keep up the beautiful locomotives, they are a real treat.

A train or two will get stuck with n the track from the m to us to time, requiring a refresh of the game to clear the tracks. Other than that, it seems an okay game.

We do have a problem with how slow progression can feel. We feel that advanced parts are too scarce. Im currently stuck waiting to get enough money for for the ATSF 3000 because we dont have anything left to upgrade with regular parts that adds up to 42 power. Im stuck for several hours, possibly days until we can complete our next heavy haul. Thats just unfair.

You can actually play this game without spending RL $$. But progress will be slow and if you are a competitive person thats not going to work for you. You may not do well in the tournaments. Like most games these days the developers are out to make money. Hence the prices are a bit steep. A special train will run you $19.99+. If you want resources packages (gas, cash, gems). That will run you $19.99-$99.99. In-game mechanics you get about 10 gems in the weekly quest. However if you want more gas, 30 barrels will cost you 70 gems. And that gas, if you are lucky will let you run 2 more trains once. The production system is a little skewed. You have to upgrade your factories to produce more or you will use up all your workers producing less, but once you do you cant go back. So if you need 20 of a product you have no choice but to produce 300-400 of it. The remaining will clutter your warehouse until its full and you cant collect or process any products. So, you will delete inventory to make space. But guess what? That stuff you deleted is now the next thing to pop into your production list and you will need to produce it all over again. This never fails to happen. Its also illogical, say you are in the automobile age, of course you need to produce auto parts and basic materials. But what do you need animal feed for? Are the workers eating it? Or a sofa? Have you ever seen a sofa in an automobile? Once purchased you can not sell your old trains. This leaves you with low haul expensive gas guzzling trains. If you do the tournaments you are still going to need them but it will cost more resources. Maintenance becomes an issue the further you go into the game. Where you used to be able to run trains down to 5%. They will now go into maintenance around 30-35% and you will have to fix them to use them. This is most notable in the passenger trains. Which of course slows your ability to complete those quests. Our advice is keep your eyes open. Review those receipts from Apple or google weekly/monthly and if you find your are spending too much money you may need to rethink how you play the game or if you should keep playing at all. If money is no problem, then Have at it and enjoy. You will do well in the game.

TS3 is a mobile game that has a lot going for it, great graphics, interesting mechanics, great maps and interesting story. Unfortunately, it all gets ruined by Pixel horrible greed and ridiculous prices. The last patch adding horrendous blueprints to the price of regular building is astonishing. The game seems to be going one direction – milking as much $$ from their customers as possible before completely and utterly failing. Would not recommend.

This game was great and fun for train enthusiast.

This is a really good game and we really like playing it except for the fact that it takes forever for your gas to regenerate and it makes our phone hot only after we short time.

Im a sucker for a good buy/sell/transport game and this one has lots of good things – the graphics are good and we enjoy the supply chain element. But it is really a single story line that youre forced to follow. We want more freedom and maybe some competition. It will be a fun distraction for a bit but we wont play it for very long.

This game/simulation is really good. Graphics are cool. Trains are very cool. But you cant play this game for more than 15 min. You run out of fuel or trains need fixing and you are not rewarded enough items to upgrade without purchasing more parts. Im not opposed to spending a buck or two here and there. In fact we bought the Big Boy train. But after 15 min we cant play it anymore. We dont have enough fixes or parts or fuel. Id love to spend more time with it, but am unable to.

Its a great team but you run out of fuel and supplies way to fast and it get frustrating.

We really like this game. However, when we play it, our phone heats up until its uncomfortable to hold and the app quits suddenly at least once every day. Fun game, but disappointed in the stability/optimization.

Great game we do wish that the trains were a bit slower maybe its just us but them seem a bit like bullet trains in terms of speed not steam engines as they should.

The worker system in your buildings is a terrible concept. Want people to stop playing a game thats how. 3 workers every 30 minutes. Its an obvious PTP move.

Any train enthusiast will thoroughly enjoy the beautiful renderings in this game. From close-up 360 images of new trains to working track lights, the detail in the visual depictions of the game are engaging. Gameplay is well-balanced, and feels like youre operating a railroad! Great fun.

Over all a very fun game with a lot of the locomotives that we were hoping to see in the game we do wish the fuel didnt run out so quickly or take so long to get refilled but other than that its fun.

We have been a long time fan of the TrainStation series of games! This game however is way better in our opinion than TrainStation 2. We love the more realistic graphics and the music is fantastic! Our only complaint right now is that please offer free gems like in the other games, or like in the first game where you pay $4.99 for 5 gems a day forever. The other thing is the maintenance packs there arent enough ways to get enough free ones to keep your trains moving. At this point right now, you play the game for about 30 minutes only to have to take a break for 4 hours to let your trains get fixed other than that, the game is great so far.

Top quality game helps past time. By.

Coming from TS2, it was a bit of an adjustment to understand game mechanics, but its fun now that Ive got it down. Graphics are great, and the events are enjoyable. Our only complaint is that we get a warning that performance may be degraded because our iPhone 13 doesnt have 4GB of RAM. Needing that much memory seems a bit absurd for this game. It also drains our battery and heats up our phone if we play for any length of time.

Like most simulation games, getting you to spend money is an integral part. But, we always enjoy seeing how far we can get without spending money. In this case Ive been able to have many hours of enjoyment and make a ton of progress without spending money. You just need to be patient and wise. The quality of the game and its animations is outstanding. We only have two nits to pick: when youre following trains and they enter the tunnel, the audio should fade out, not just end abruptly. Also, the lumber icon and the copper icon are way too similar, and that has caused us to waste valuable resources.

Hi we have been play TS2 and when we heard about this we had to try it and the graphics are better you can actually go through different years and you dont need dispatchers anymore but the only thing Im getting used to is the maintenance of the locomotives but Im sure we get used to it and over all we thing the game is really good.
