A Dance of Fire and Ice is a strict one-button rhythm game. Keep your focus as you guide two orbiting planets down a path without breaking their perfect equilibrium.

It’s pretty hard to describe, but you should play the free online version on a desktop computer first if you are not sure if you would enjoy this game!

  • More than 10 worlds, each introducing new shapes and rhythms. What do triangles, octagons or squares sound like? Each world starts with small tutorial stages and ends with a final test.

  • Post-game challenges: Speed Trials for each world and a blisteringly fast bonus level for the brave.

  • Calibration options: auto-calibration and manual calibration. This is a precise rhythm game, so use your ears more than your eyes when playing.

  • Play new levels for free: more levels will be added over the coming months.

WARNING: This is a hard rhythm game. Not in the sense of note-spamming – for the most part all you have to do is keep a consistent beat – but this is a good test of whether you would be a good drummer. Keeping a beat is not very easy, and then weird breakbeats are added on top of that, so don’t worry if you find it difficult!

A Dance of Fire and Ice Reviews

We love playing g this game and we’ve completed it on pc and have played their other game, Rhythm Doctor, on pc. Just now we were in the middle of trying to complete the level Jungle City (I think thats its name), and near the end of the song, the 3D Touch just stopped. We thought maybe it was something wrong with our phone so we retried the level and it was working again, and stopped working at the same spot. Other than that tiny bug, this game is super awesome.

We hate when it says overload we just makes you wanna quit. Well.. Whe;you tap three times in the wrong thing it says overload please remove overload as it keeps annoying the person this game is very fun and we like it we are rating 4 star beacuase of overload.

We only play this because we saw faker play it.

The ability to play custom levels on mobile will make this a 5/5 for us. But until then ill leave it as as. :(

We left a review saying that it was perfect and it still is and last time we said there was a screen bug and they fixed that. So the game is now perfect but we have one question: is one forgotten night on ADOFAI mobile? We got this game on steam and we saw that if you do something in the hub on computer and we thought that level was challenging and we liked it and we wondered if it was on mobile so we looked it up and nothing showed up and then you replied to our review so Im doing this the same day. Id one forgotten night on mobile?

We’ve been played by this thing a ton for the past few weeks! The concept of translating rhythm to angles is something we’ve never seen before, and which quickly distinguishes this game from most other rhythm games. The levels have good variation in style and difficulty, and the music is very good! We just wish there were more levels, as well as a level editor (which is available on the more expensive pc version). Overall, the fun this game gave us has been well worth the price. 9/10! :D Btw, as of writing this, in addition to the 12 main levels, there are 4 bonus/secret levels spread throughout the game, which is not immediately obvious when you open the game. We wont spoil how to access them here. P.S. Level 3 is harder than level 4 and maybe even level 5 for some reason, you have been warned!

This year has been so… Strange, to say the least, but this game has honestly made it so much better. We dont know what it is about this game, but its so amazing and makes us feel satisfied and content while playing. The music, the simple yet challenging gameplay, the extra levels at the end they all tie into each other to make this a truly amazing game to play. Id honestly pay 3x this game cost just to experience it all again! The developers of this game deserve all the praise and congratulations because this app is truly a masterpiece. While the game may feel short to some, theres a lot you can do here and the app is constantly updating and adding newer levels. Our sister and we are absolutely HOOKED on this game and we’ll sometimes challenge each other to see who can get highest on the speed runs. Thank you for such a great game we cant get enough of it! The developing team deserves a clap on the back!!

This game will get you tapping your feet and bobbing your head to the beat, its a bit of a challenge too, but you feel so accomplished and relaxed after beating each level!

As a self proclaimed expert rhythm gamer, this has quite a learning curve! But we’ve absolutely enjoyed (and sometimes raged at) this game. So far we’ve beat all 6 main level at 1.5x and got all the little lantern things, and Im continuing to try to 100% this whole game.

One of the best games out there! Should be way more popular! Anyone getting this wont be disappointed! Structured well, challenging, doesnt take two minutes to finish, controls are perfect, songs are all fun and different. We loved the level 4, 9, and 11 level songs.. The other ones were great for training though. Wish there were more!!!!

We found this from tokaku’s video on it and we decided to give it a try since it was only a few bucks turns out it was a really neat lil game with satisfying taptic feedback (vibrations) whenever you land a hit, it’s definitely very challenging but in a fun way, it lets you listen to podcasts while playing which is amazing cuz most rythem games don’t all in all we really recommend it!!

  1. On the title screen, Swipe left. 2. Tap the bear repeatedly. 3. Enjoy debug mode! Edit: OMG WHY Edit 2: Rip-off! NO MOR LEVEL MAKER! ADD IT BACK!

This rhythm game is a diamond in the rough. So glad it finally made its way to mobile. Must play!!

We love this game. Please add custom maps and more levels.

It does feel short but what are you gonna do they are updating it constantly and have added 2 brand new worlds since we purchased it what am we gonna do complain about them supporting the game.

We just got this and Im on level 7 but how do we get custom made maps?

This game is a lot to get used to but its very very fun.

1: ADOFAI is a great game! But can you please add custom levels, the neo cosmos DLC, and speed trials? We’ve seen a bunch of PC gameplays with all 3, yet we dont have them on mobile/iPad! 2: Please add Rhythm Doctor and some of its features too! We really love that game as well! 3: Thank you 7th Beat Games for making one of the best rhythm games ever.

This is the only game we know that can be easily played on both steam, and iOS. The only issue we have on iOS, is that eventually you run out of content. After you beat all the worlds, there is nothing else to do. This issue isnt enough to give it anything less than a 5 star, though. Just can you make more worlds in the future? We think that the song Firestarter would be really cool for world 13 if you get permission to use it. Thats all, keep up the good work!

This is somehow the worst game we’ve ever played but the best, its a lot of fun but sometimes you just cant with the game.

So addicting but 1-X could be easier.

This game is great and all but can you add a level editor? We think it would be cool to make our own levels.

The perfect combination of a cool rhythm/music game and a rage game, the songs are amazing and the gameplay is challenging yet fun.

Muy difcil para mi gusto pero as aprendes a jugar una maravilla de juego.

We had the PC version, and found out that there was a mobile version. It was cheaper than the PC version, so we bought it, and it is definitely worth the money.

One of our favorite rhythm games, the simplicity of the 2 circles and clicking to the beat works really well together definitely worth the money.

We love this game but why is jungle city such a difficult level.

You do not give yourself nearly enough credit to start off. This is exactly the kind of game for us. Challenging and you can pick it up/put it down as you see fit ( as long as you can hear it, of course). We applaud thee. We have defeated all but two songs, and am perfectly happy to keep adding to our attempt count with no practice rounds. Thank you for all of the good effort put into this masterpiece. We cannot wait to dive into the recently purchased steam version for all of the player-created content! One con: we do not think our iPhone XR can keep up on some of the later levels. It will sometimes miss on very obvious and clear non-misses ( says we hit too early or too late on painfully obvious perfect marks ) and it will stop vibrating mid song on a few songs, which can be distracting. This may just be our phone, however. We literally recommend this game to anyone. Casual or challenging this is the game for you! Thank you devs, we cannot wait for more content or a part two!

We really loved this on the pc and its better for mobile! We miss the playable title screen tho.

ADOFAI is a great game, but can you please add some of the features from the PC version? Such as the Neo Cosmos DLC and also level editing. Also, can you please add rhythm doctor to the App Store when its finished.

Uhh just asking about rainbow planets because we have no idea if they are in the mobile version yet and if they are any tips or clues on how to unlock them because we really like how they look.

This app is the best on the App Store but please add the editor to mobile we want it please add it the game can get better with editor on mobile.

Im not here to rush you on custom levels or the dlc (But please get those over with), Im here to talk about a bug on iPad. For some reason we cant play Credits or Rose garden on iPad, even when we followed a tutorial we think it has something to do with our screen dimensions. Pls fix.

We love playing this game all the time, but it can be frustrating sometimes when bugs occur and mess us up. Im using v1.15.5 on an iPhone XR. Every so often, it will just straight up not register when we press, we’ve checked our settings to see if something may be wrong there but it doesnt look like it. The second problem, which happens much more often. Is after playing the game for a couple minutes, halfway or even a quarter way through the levels, vibrations will stop out of nowhere. That throws you off a good bit so it would be great to see that be fixed. The vibrations reset when you die, but stop again halfway through, stopping earlier and earlier with each play. We definitely love this game, but the app needs some tweaking. If we see them get fixed Ill definitely raise to five stars.

This is an amazing game. We would rate it 5 stars but we wish that it had the level creator like on PC. If you could, could you possibly add it back in? It would make us want to play it more.

This game is fun entirely but something we are wondering is the creator. Im not sure if the creator is in the mobile version at all but we cant find it so we are thinking about having to completing some of the levels. But Im not sure if the calibration is wrong because it never works.

This game is a really fun game but sometimes the input doesnt go through when we tap.

We’ve loved this game since we got it but the recent update has taken all the sound out of the game for us which makes it impossible to play :( please fix this so we can finish the game we had made it to world 5 and deleted and redownloaded this to fix the problem so now not only can we not play it due to no sound but now but we have to start all over.

World 6-X just makes you die over and over again, and the calibration is not helping in any way. Plus, the tempo for some worlds is too fast, therefore giving you little time to react.

This game is fun to play in class.
