We never ever write reviews but this game is so good we had to our first run thru to Destroy Father we literally did nothing else for 2-3 days..
We think it’s very well made and worth the ten dollars. There are a lot of different challenges and just as many strategies to overcome them. You choose the make up of your crew and the set up and weapons and whatever ship you can afford. It’s pretty realistic too which some may not like, but personally we appreciate it. When you die you can either try to continue from the lowest ship with no crew or load your last captain’s log which can end being a lot of progress lost. We can’t wait to finish the campaign and explore the other game modes.
This game is THE best pirate gam you can find for miles, with amazing lore, great fighting mechanics, and even more stuff that we havent explored yet! Please try this game if youre looking for a pirate game that focuses around fighting!
Dont get us wrong this game is great but we think it is a little complex and confusing at first but once you get into it it is really fun. 5/5.
Our only downside is paying we like enjoying games free thats normal though this game is good though no flaws and if u want the best way to play is buying the hole thing.
Im loving this game so far, lots of comments are about the price of the free play and campaign but honestly for how well the game was made, we think $7 is a fair price. We are not sure how much total content there is but Im already 3-4 hours in and have explored only a fraction of the map. The ship customization, crew building, fights, and story are all excellent even for some PC and console level games. Worth the money for sure!
We have been playing this game for a while now, and we just have to say that this is the best game we have ever played. If you like pirate games this is the game for you, the campaign is the most interactive and detailed campaign we have ever experienced. And developers if you are ready this you will never believe how happy this game has made us. So if you like prates, compelling storys, and having fun this is the best game out there.
Definitely a good game but the game will not let us change our cannons at all. And it doesnt let you progress till you do so.
Love the game, graphics and sound. However buying weapons for the first time in port, everything freezes, no matter where we press on the screen. There is a screen covering the ship and we can see half of the highlighted circle, but no matter where we press, unable to continue. Running game on iPad Pro 2022, 11. Looking forward to playing further.
The combat is dynamic and buying different ships and weapons offers a lot of variety.
We’ve been playing, and we absolutely live the game. During the campaign you absolutely feel like youre scrambling to thwart the cult, and Its so much fun. We havent bought the full game yet, and we wish that the game would tell you before that you need to purchase the full game in order to complete the campaign, but other than that, this seems very promising. We would definitely say that this game is going to be worth buying the full game. We almost wish this was ported to PC, because we would love playing this on our rig. Anyways, this game is amazing, the mix of lovecraftian cult and pirate simulator works so well, and we just live it.
If this was online or pvp/co-op elements we would play it all over again after unlocking every nook of the game.

This is by far the best game we have every played on our phone, & maybe even our life. The combat is amazing, the story is amazing, the fact you can do practically anything with your ship is amazing. Its been pretty good so far, plus we are a fan of the pirate theme and the story isnt too bad either. We really like this, plus points for originality. We havent seen another game like this yet, and doubt even if we did, it would be as good as this.
We just got the game today and enjoyed it so much we bought the full game, anyway we just entered the haunted island whirlpool zone mission where you follow a ship into a whirlpool, and then we left the app and saved the game. Now when we enter our save we are put on the other side of the whirlpool but its all messed up. Theres 2 gates on top and bottom and both closed. We went through there before and when you go out the bottom it spits you out on the top. Any way both of them are closed and we cant do the fight to go through the bottom because it wont pop up. And the whirlpool is in the center of the map for some reason and we cant go through it. We searched the whole area and theres no way we can get out. And when we realize our save it puts us back at the same spot. So Im stuck which no way out. And we have put a lot of time in, like a LOT. So we really dont want to lose it all. Any help here Devs?
We love the game. We loved the fighting mechanics and fixing and managing your crew. The sea was amazing too. Plus you can board ships? Wow! We think it can be a good game since we love everything about it but the full game is locked until we pay. As a kid with no money we cannot finish it which makes us sad. Other than that its good!

This is honestly a really good game. It has a large world map, multiple campaigns, and interesting side quests. The combat is comparable Faster Than Light on steam, and there are different strategies you can use. For a mobile game, it really has a lot going for it.
Im not very far but it seems like an awesome fusion of AC:black flag and FTL. We love it so far.
Overall, a fun game. But getting lowballed on rewards for ship destruction/capture and having to grind a ridiculously long period in order to get a larger ship is highly annoying and bothersome, as is navigation within a given area.
Love this game, good ui and story. Major bug issue though every time we close and open the app we have to restore our full game and dlcs, . Every single time. Very frustrating if your out of wifi access because you cant play game please fix this we are playing the most recent iOS iOS version.
So, a little clarification, this game is great. Hands down one of the best games on the store and worth buying, we wish there was free play for you know. FREE! But even without the small demo is enough to tell you what to expect for some of the game but the fighting ship to ship is so fun and the selection of fancy weapons and gadgets, even some original cool weapons depending on what your play style is. Want to go in guns blazing and board the enemy as fast as you can and get good loot? Then get grapples and grapeshot. If you want to stay in the back to wreak havoc on any ship who dares attack you? Use catapults and mortars. You have any play style you want, but if you so buy the game it doesnt explain much until (huge spoilers ahead, we know we already spoiled but thats barely anything, but maybe read to expect what will happen so youll be prepared in some way) you fight the kraken. Then it gives you much more freedom to do the things before you got there but figuring that out was weird and also confusing, all the missions leading up to were cool but we didnt know how hard the fight was until we did it and it was so significantly easy when we figured out the gimmick. It was still fun but it doesnt usually give you a good clue of what you are supposed to do. But thats the only problem we have with the main campaign. Everything else so far has been the greatest. Do recommend, and do buy. Unless you dont wanna :)
This game is fun to play. We just started it and it seems to be a great game, wish we didnt have to pay for more parts of the game.
We know everyone wants the game to be free to play but we understand the need for a little bit of cash considering there is no adds but we do still think that you should either drop the price to 5 dollars or do something else because Im on the verge of buying it but we cant decide its a great game but as soon as we saw that it worried us thank you.
When we tried to use the swivel gun one the tutorial battle a second time but when we clicked on the ship it just said invalid target good game but needs more bug fixes.
The story is intriguing . The graphics are not bad . The gameplay is good but unless your going to buy the game before you play you get two maps before it locks you in and you have to buy it to do anything .
Overall was a fun experience, till we got a good combo of weapons in the corvette which made the game to easy, to fast and really boring. The end we were hoping for a challenge but it ended with a single ship battle??? We dont get to fight the big monster? The single ship didnt even put up a fight, it lasted 30 secs and it was over. We want to see the game get progressively harder. We had high hopes for this game but about midway through it became underwhelming and just a meh game in the end. Was almost there.
The controls arent well labeled or explained which makes the tutorial a bit of a grind. But game has huge potential. Just not willing to invest time in learning curve.
At the first chance of ship upgrade and optimization the game freezes with tutorial pop up . Please fix 5 star if fixed.
Great game play. But (1) no offline play. We paid for the game, but every time Im not connected we get shut down with a purchase game. Message, and (2) we defeated the boss, saved, went back, to find we have to defeat him again!
Played the game though the free version, bought the full version and the game feels totally empty, no ports or any way to actually progress without a long time of backtracking. Went through 2 hours of play without a way to heal or progress which really takes you out of the immersion of a breathing world. Free play is terrible not worth the money in any way. Love the idea and concept and first 3 hours, but as soon as we payed we wish we had our money back.

Right off the bat they cram you with like 50 different mechanics of the game and it seems never ending. And the ship mechanics got way too in depth, Couldn’t even play for 15 minutes because it seemed like a lot more work than it was worth. We can appreciate trying to be realistic but you went way overboard (no pun intended) and it makes the game feel very dull.
Other than that, the game seems pretty easy thus far, even with it being hard mode. We’re liking other parts of the game though.
You play for 30 mins/ 1 hour and then you MUST pay to keep playing. Burn the game and company.
We were looking for a game to play during flights. This game seemed perfect so we bought all the content (the game is great). We come to find out that without an internet connection our phone can not verify that we own the game and blocks us from playing it. We guess Im paying for access rather than ownership and that wasnt communicated in the description. We just want to enjoy the game on a plane.
Seems like a fun game. Then the tutorial pop ups blocked us from completing the tutorial or even advancing at all. We are unable to even play the game.
We love this game but we really wish we didnt have to pay for free play because it is so expensive. The same with the other campaigns too. Its just very pricey. However, we will complement you guys on the game in general. Its amazing. You get the real pirate feel and there is also that sense of danger that everyone loves because of the thing where if you die you have to start over. Its a great game! But we would love if you lowered the prices at least by a little.

We are loving this game. The graphics, the mechanics, the gameplay, its just so much fun. We believe this game is very underrated and deserves to be one of the top games. (I might be going too far but idc) This game is just an overall good experience with its compelling decision making and battle sequences, not to mention the events that happen. Id recommend giving this game a try. It is pretty hard, but thats the fun in it.
This game is everything missing from mobile games. A trial lets you see if you want it, then a small purchase and you get the game. No gems no freemium, no ads clogging up gameplay. The game itself is great, a fun story and good mechanics. Im happy to have tried it, and purchased it. Im not usually one to leave reviews, but this deserves it.
We bought the campaign + the DLC just for 11$ it was totally worth it.
After the preview was happy to pay the price good phone games with good depth are hard to come by, 10/10.
Im working through the tutorial and when it comes to the buying weapons such as the mortar in the tutorial it completely stop functioning. It says the there is no space for the mortar that the tutorial makes you get and it wont allow us to switch it out or upgrade the smaller mortar already preset on the ship. Controls go dead. Wont let us go back cancel choose a mortar or any other option. IPhone 8 Plus on IOS 15.6. Need help getting pass this hiccup.
For the people who say this game is overpriced, perhaps freemium games are more your speed. We would much rather have a game we pay up front for instead of getting bled for much much more money with corrupt gotcha microtransactions. Well done devs! We are very pleased with the lack of privacy tracking, we refuse to download an app that harvests our data.
Intrigued by the free trial, but wary of the price, we forked over the cash and did not regret it. This is a very full and very long game havent even dipped into the add on campaigns. A very well balanced game of strategy and hands on activity. Very good.
