This one has so many different parts to it, the complexity is awesome, but mostly entirely doable (and there are hints for free if youve found the stars). Im putting this one above the shape-shifter Haiku game. We loved the different perspectives on each room in that one, but this one just kept going and bringing in new scenarios in a way that was really fun.
Loved this game! We enjoy adventure and puzzle games (the old Lucas arts classics, as well as Myst, Riven, etc). We genuinely appreciate the thought and creativity that went into this game and its puzzles. We look forward to checking out other games by this developer!
This is our second time playing this game, and we love it, as we do all Haiku Games! This is an updated version, though and has some bugs. We are currently stuck in chapter 8 because the UV light doesn’t work. We tried contacting support, but you need to go on Facebook. :(. We have issues with FB on our I-Pad, so got lost. Would be nice to just have email support!
We loved the end so much – we cant spoil it, but basically someone you were sure was going to have to bite it might not bite it after all, and that was wonderful. Only one puzzle made no sense to me; everything else was smooth and just the right amount of difficult. Very pretty, and the characters are loveable. We will definitely be playing more of these!
This game plays like a escape game, but it has a plot with cutscenes (hence, Adventure Escape). Many of the puzzles can be solved with ease, but the developers leave enough difficult puzzles for you to try and figure out (the hard puzzles are usually at the end of a chapter). You can find and collect stars to use as currency for answers, but try not to use them unless it is necessary. The best part (of course) is you do not need any WiFi to play this game. Haiku Games craft their apps rather well. No disappointments so far.
Love them all. Great replay value too. We’ve played them all several times.
This game is one of the most adventurous ones out of the bunch! We love how long it goes and narrative. We especially love the ending with the 5 Part mini puzzles.
Absolutely loved this game! Its clear that the creators worked very hard on the puzzles, art, storylines, and music. Wasnt a small game and some puzzles are really mind-bending. There are mini games as well. Graphics could be better but nothing to mind about. Enjoyed this game as-free also! Please come out with more such gems.
Great game, very mentally stimulating & touching.
We love Haiku games. However we are stuck on the last chapter. We got a hint that says something about battery connecting to the car jack. It wont give us anymore hints. We tried to link those but it will not let us. We looked for a missing item and we cant find anything. Im wondering if it is a bug. We would give five stars normally.
We were immensely enjoying this game until the ballcourt. Playing on an iPhone is quite difficult, as where you need to stop the arrow is sometimes right on the white line to move between apps. It is also quite difficult to stop the arrows with your fingers on a phone, and we have small fingers and hands. Our guess is this is meant to be played on an iPad or tablet, based on this and a few other scenes where things were difficult to see at the bottom of the screen on our phone. Overall well done and very fun to this point in the game. Just not sure we will finish now because it is too frustrating to know what we need to do but not be able to do it due to placement.
The puzzles and mini games are simple but enjoyable. The game has a great flow and the series is addictive. Keep making more!
So the game itself is really good but the fact that we restarted our iPad and was more then half way finished with the game that once we turned our device back 9n all our progress was gone and we were back at the first stage.. Very upsetting.
The game was good but the puzzles were very confusing. Unless you really took a lot of time looking at it to figure them out some still didnt even make sense. We had to use to many cheats to figure them out. We dislike using cheats but there was no other way to figure them out. Very frustrated.
The game play was a good challenge until the ball court where 20 minutes of throwing a ball at a snake hoop ended any joy. It was sad to give up what challenged your mind earlier to have it end on how fast you could tap the screen and align two arrows.
We had a hard time figuring this one out.
Like so many other older Haiku games, programmers had been sloppy and they obviously never ever test their products! We could write a bible full of flaws, glitches and prog errors we found over the past weeks in about hjalf a dozen their games. Shocking. You will have to purchase stars to bypass their glitches – No way for us! Here the cell phone puzzle is unsolvable. No combi will work! Guys: Check out FiveBN games and learn how to make it right.
We got as far as c-2 and then the adventure games menu popped up and we wasnt allowed to continue. This has never happened to us before in any of your games. We cant get back in and continue to play past C-2. This game has disappointed me- just as we were really getting into it too.
We were so excited to play this game but we havent even been able to make it through the tutorial. The game screen is slightly zoomed in and we cant reach the side buttons to progress. Unless Im doing something wrong, we dont know how to continue playing. Im playing on a new iPad Pro 11 and it says its compatible. Update: we downloaded it on our iPad mini and it works fine. Still wish it would work on our Pro.
Because Indiana Jones is one of our favorite movies. We looked forward to this game. Overall great game. Although, some puzzles didnt really seem to have a connection to the game, so we had to cheat to move on to the next stage. Would have liked to solve it on our own. Other than that, good sounds and great aesthetics ; a fun game!
We’ve played a ton of haiku games and we generally love them. But we recently updated our phone and we had so many issues with things being at the very bottom of the screen. We couldnt pick things up without accidentally exiting out of the app. Then most disappointingly and weirdly, in the last level of the game, randomly it put us in a doctors office? We think it was part of a different haiku game. We even looked it up to see if that was something we hadnt paid attention to and if that was actually part of the chapter but nope. Just randomly in a doctors office. These games are so addicting so Im super bummed that we cant finish this one.
We have played all of the Adventure Escape games from Haiku and loved every single one until this one. Something about it just seemed off. We only made it to the second chapter before deleting it as it was no where near as compelling or engaging as the others before it. The puzzles/gameplay felt arbitrary and random. There didnt seem to be a flow to it. Ill go back and replay some older ones and hope that any future versions are better.
We really enjoy playing your games, its hard to find good puzzle games and have only have a few games left to play. We got to this one and we cant make it past the tutorial as the screen is too large when it gets to the first puzzle and cant be selected. Hopefully you will have a fix soon.
OK, Im not the best player for games like this. We have to use walk-throughs for some of the more random or chaotic puzzles, but this game quickly became unplayable. There is a challenge to shoot baskets, in the proper order. We figured that part out, and quickly got to the last one. At this point, the trick is to bounce the ball into the goal. (Shooting is done by timing when to choose the left-right position, and then the up-down position, from sliding pointers.) Fine, except even when we knew where to shoot, we could never quite get the combination of positions for the ball to bounce into the goal. Rarely, the ball would bounce, but never successfully. Theres a huge amount of luck involved in getting the timing for this shot just right, and a small window of success, apparently. Anyway, to skip this challenge required more points than we had, and would have meant paying $$ just to get past this artificially-difficult task. Which makes the game unplayable, in our opinion. We understand they want to make money, and if the game was as enjoyable as some other entries, we might have gone for it. As it is, we just deleted the game and chalked the time up to lessons learned. YMMV.

A fan of Haiku Games, we love the game, which is one of most well-made and intricate games in the adventure escape series. We dont know if its just us or the newer games are actually harder and more challenging, but yeah thats why we love it! Haiku Games certainly takes the game to the next level. Plus the recent games can store your progress within a chapter, instead of playing the whole chapter from the beginning when you re-open the app.
Not to short, not to easy or hard. We really enjoy this game maker.

Haiku games are the hands down the best in the genre. We’ve consistently given them 5-star ratings. However, Im giving a 3 this time in hopes theyll read this review. Haiku really need to work on creating better characters. Many of their games, including this one, seem like theyre targeting teenagers as their audience. Rachel and Les, in this story, are ridiculous protagonists with no morals and the spoiled attitude of Hollywood. They should be side characters at best. Instead, they were front and center, which is a shame. This has happened in other Haiku games, where the characters have bad attitudes, complain, act stupid, and are annoying to follow. Our advice to Haiku is to step up your character game to meet the high standards you have in every other category. Your puzzles, gameplay, storylines, hints, design, are superb. Dont ruin the game by putting in teenager-like characters who dont serve as role models for said age group. Our guess is you also have a lot of mature folks like myself playing your games, and having a more serious attitude with your characters would greatly improve the entire experience. Create characters who are noble, honest, kind, strong, genuine, who care about doing the right thing. Give the teenage players people to look up to. Make the spoiled, confused, sarcastic ones side characters. Dont feel the need to follow trends or give into popular demand, when it comes to your characters. You guys already set the bar for adventure games. People are looking to you guysgood luck!
All in all a decent game but with a few game breaking bugs. Especially with chapter 5 like during the alligators they entire puzzle just restart but we never head the actual reset button or the balls witch we just had to skip because it would not work. Our advice no time puzzles like that they dont work but still a decent game all in all.
We love the graphics on the game. But we would not say this game is for ages 9 and up. Some of the puzzles are hard and when we and require skill. We wanted to like it more but its more frustrating than fun.
Usually love your games but in the ball court game the final basket in the ball court you have to be so precise we just skipped it. Now Im at the board puzzle n even though that we have the puzzle right but we guess not precise enough. So we guess Ill just quit the game. Really disappointed.
We love this app developer and these games are usually pretty fantastic. This particular game, however, contains predictable games, a relatively uninteresting storyline, and way too many crashes. Virtually every level has crashed when selected, in fact, we haven’t even played past level three because it won’t load level four. Utterly disappointing.
We usually love ur games but this one won’t even open just keeps force closing :(

We got hooked on escape games a year or so ago. While searching online for suggestions for some good ones to play, we came across the reviews for the Adventure Escape Games. We love them all and this latest one is no exception. Challenging, great storylines and even comical commentary. We play so many but these are our faves. Well done and thank you! Cant wait for the next one.

We love Haiku’s Adventure Escape games, they never disappoint. We were kind of expecting this to be cooler, like with more atmosphere and mystery. But it was still very fun. The characters were sometimes funny, and the story was pretty good. Overall, well done and creative puzzles as usual. :)
Haiku makes good quality games. Chapters are well organized and the finale keeps us thinking. Only complaint is the game got restarted most of the time when its not on the screen and even need to replay a puzzle over again.
Edit: the disappearing stars have been fixed the other problem was just a bad interface, and not a bug. We dont usually review a game until we have finished it, but this one seems pretty solid now so: well done. Another Edit Never did finish. We got tired of puzzles that are just trial and error, no logic, nothing to figure out. Too bad, the last one was really good. We would like to say that we would much prefer to pay for the game instead of the current business model. Offer a free demo for sure, but just charge up front.
Our favorite moment in this one was when one of the characters complains that they didnt get a prize (yet) for finishing a puzzle.
Each game is getting better and better. We check almost each month the App Store to see if you have added a new one., we can’t wait for the next one already. Keep the good work so our brain can solve more puzzles.
Great story line. Interesting and challenging puzzles. There is a bug with the battery charger puzzle (needs chapter restart). Looking forward to the next Haiku game!
Would have given this game 5 stars if it was not for a glitch. The sheriffs car went into the water before we could get the jumper cables. So now we cant proceed. Disappointed.
We hesitate to be overly critical because we really love Haiku Games. This dev has one of the most fair systems on the App Store. The game is free there are no intrusive adds. He makes his money by providing hints. In the past we have always written glowing reviews. We cannot in good conscience non bring up a few issues. First off we encountered a bug when our battery charger literally disappeared from our inventory, forcing us to replay the chapter with the most annoying under water puzzle ever. Secondly many of the puzzles are rehashed from earlier games just in slightly different variations. Please dev on your next game do not rehash or give face lifts to puzzles that need to be retired. You are ready to take it next level. Do something fresh and more innovative. Overall it is a solid game worthy of playing.
