Ive been searching for an MMORPG that feels like a PC MMO. We dont want auto-play(watch the game pay itself), or pay to win (Ill invest in a good game and spend money on our own.). Also, as Apple has introduced PC-level CPU/GPU and fast unified RAM, our gaming setup has changed. We have an iPad plugged into a docking station with a ton of peripherals, surround sound, reclining gaming chair, keyboard/mouse, etc. Id prefer to game with keyboard and mouse now that Apple introduced it to iPadOS recently. Almost EVERY game doesnt allow it, and the ones that do arent true MMORPGs. Then theres this game! It feels like a legit MMORPG for PC, the controls are aaaaalmost perfect (except you cant strafe for some reason), and its charming. We can see ourselves getting lost in this game for hours and hours. And so far theres a lot of players. Thank you to the developers for making it VERY hard to dislike this game. Youve nearly made the perfect game, and it works so well with our setup on a big monitor with the graphics cranked up to max.
We havent even finished downloading it yet to see we just know if its improved from original adventure quest back on pc when we were a kid then its gotta be amazing, and now Im a adult we will gladly give you our money to save time in game and level our character up and get cool gear or money to buy it just dropped our wow sub for this forgotten Gem.
Battleon.com has ALWAYS BEEN our favorite game ever we spent countless hours as a teen playing. Mainly because our computer couldnt support downloaded games. But if you being battleon oldschool to the phone we PROMISE YOU $1,000s just from us. We want to be able to bring our old account over. Ive been playing AQ since middle school AQ3D just set the record for us.
Developer, when will there be Chinese.
It is entertaining but the text box and font made us uninstall it. We dont know why but just the font makes it unplayable to us. It does seem to have the most potential for a mobile MMO since Order & Chaos is pretty much dead now.
Horrible gameplay the chase radius for enemies is either 1 foot where you are constantly resetting their health bar or an enemy that will chase you infinitely never allowing you to exit combat and No in between we have been playing the adventure quest series since the very first game and the quality hasnt improved at all in 10 years do not recommend.
Been playing AQ since it was browser only and required adobe flash. AQ lore is great and continues to expand. Please incorporate Apple Game Center and then its 5 stars! :).
This is just unbearable. AQ3D has been around since 2016 on PC. And this is all we have to look forward to? Little to no real content has been out. Still sitting here, waiting to collect allll the keystones for the dragonportal. Your zones are about as small as AQW (which is sad for a game with enough polygons to look 3d) and the content behind them is lackluster. No Gananana or quad-force pieces in Greenguard? Most of us came here because of our experiences in AQ and DF, and theres nothing even resembling the two, other than character names. You want it to be its own game with its own story, fine, then at least develop an interesting storyline! But, realistically, this is AE were talking about; pretty hard to get by when your one and only developer doesnt (didnt, since you have the eight-legged ignoramus, now) get paid and all their work is volunteered at the promise of being paid later (whiiiiich you never did!). And then you have the audacity to (after promising AQ3D was the new thing while denouncing AQW) go back to developing AQW. We suppose thats what happens when you set up an mmo to be a cosmetic cash cow and then fail to implement any meaningful content. Seems to us youll just bounce back and forth between AQW and AQ3D until you can milk it for what its worth. Crazy how the only meaningful content for AQ3D for the last four years are purchasable with Dragon Coins (being cosmetics, specifically Legion packs. Simps LOVE the legion, its a straight ripoff of Death Knights from WoW, but then again most of your weapon designs are ripped as such, been that way since AQ). After four years, AE has shown they just dont have the resources to properly develop indie-browser games, let-alone full blown titles incorporating their last games. We bet all those sexual harassment allegations didnt help the situation. Cant believe you thought youd get away with that. Whats next, turning all the pictures of female NPCs into bowls of fruit? Should partner with Blizzard, you guys have too much in common. Ive been playing AQ, DF, and MQ for 12+ years and we will no more simp for a company that truly cares not for their games any longer. Its clear you only create content when its tied to premium currency (again, the only thing you create being cosmetics). Start releasing updates as DLC packs if youre that desparate.
What did you pay to be considered a new game? Ive already downloaded this game but its somehow new. We find this to be incredibly annoying. Theres plenty of new games out there and they only update the new titles like once a month and they dont even bother to show actual new games anymore. There was another bootleg looking game that had one rating and its a best new game.
We bought some items with REAL MONEY, went to bed, woke up and played a mission, feel back asleep, and woke up to account disabled with no reason or email with the reason like theyre supposed to send as stated in their policy. So in other words we spent almost $50 just to get banned the next day with no explanation. We believe thats what lawyers call fraud. (update) instead of handling the problem Ive been getting one response a day, not solving the problem. But asked a redundant question as vague as possible than ignoring for a whole day just to be followed up with another vague response. It took 3 days to figure out what we were banned for. Apparently you can name yourself hitlerwasntdone and be fine. You can name yourself yoursistersbigtits and no one says a thing. Name yourself DrSweetDic and youll find yourself banned without notice of why and you will receive one response messages spread out over 3 days and still no resolve. Not only did you guys not send a reason why like youre supposed to on the DAY of the ban but yall act like you only get a minute to respond to someone who need support. We think if the punishment is wayyy more brutal than the violation than the whole system is broken. Are we people playing your games or just pawns to give you money? Yall got no problem taking money out immediately when we buy something but when Im in a situation that you the developers allowed in the first place than all of a sudden we dont exist. If we knew 3 letters in our name would cause this much of a problem we would have never downloaded this game.

Its not polished or have crazy graphics but the gameplay is awesome and theres no cringy characters.
This game brings back memories of the original Adventure Quest and Dragon Fable games. We wish there was a way to play the original turn-based 2D games. We dont care as much about the walking around, we preferred the old way.
Our first MMO ever was AQ Worlds. The grind for classes and awesome equips was a big part of our early teenage years. When AQ3D came out back in 2016 in Open Beta we played it, and came to it off and on as they added more content. This game we feel is a great translation of the core aspects of AQW with its own unique style to it. It fills that nostalgia craving and is a great way to spend some time relaxing with grinding towards some objective. Theres always something to do. PvP could be better and we know isnt the core function or focus of the game, and hopefully as more classes come and hopefully more success to AE comes they can invest more resources into it. When the teams in 5v5 are even it is a good time(hard to achieve this without playing in a premade), and when its not you take the loss and get stomped or stomp the enemy team. Could really use some balancing and QoL improvements to help even the playing field for non premade teams. Yes this game could use some QoL updates, yes there is no endgame or some kind of content that provides replayability. So it can get stale once you finish the latest content. Im also sure AE is aware of that and hopefully someday resources can be put into figuring out something to solve that problem by implementing some sort of endgame PvE content with leaderboards or something. The community is great, and there are several discord servers with awesome and active players. We dont regret playing this game one bit. The first time we played it we were 21 years old, now Im 28. Ive spent probably a good 400 hours or so thus far in this game. Its one of the most relaxing games in our library to just grind away on and watch tv or listen to some podcast in the side. Its worth your time and if you really enjoy it its worth supporting the devs through whatever monetization you feel is worth spending on. To anyone that hasnt tried this game, Id recommend you give it a go. Its not a hardcore MMO and wont compete with the bigger and more popular titles if thats what youre looking for. What this lacks in audience/resources is made up for by the community and the heart put into it by AE. All in all, this is a great game and there will always be some new content coming in, however short/long it takes to complete it. And if youre bored, you can always take a break and come back later. Awesome game, awesome community.
They have great pride items and allow all genders to wear all clothes to allow for nice non-binary presentation. The game itself is so well written and funny! Super fun and truly cross platform so you can play no matter where or what youre on.
Along with the previous reviews we submitted, the game seems to be going downhill. Every time the game updates, we have to lower our game settings; granted we are on mobile and this game most likely favors pc users. The current update is no different; we couldnt even enter the game; loading screen speeds have slowed significantly. You cant call it multi-platform if all your mobile users are either disconnecting, or cant log into your game. Updated- the devs started to crack down on the previously stated issues. We think now we have only a couple is gripes, firstly is the games slow progression. After 5 years in beta we thought at least the storyline wouldve been completed, oh but no. We dont really care for the PvP system in the game. We dont understand why players jump everywhere( as if they think that counts as dodging ) during duels. Also, cant wait til the next class comes out, we wander what its gonna be.
Ive been a X-Guardian on original adventure quest, played hundreds of hours on AQ Worlds, huge fan of the series and theres a reason why. Consistent updates, friendly community, cool gear and usually obtainable from grinding in game. Ive played AQ3D on and off since it launched and its continued to exceed our expectations. While Im a adult and dont have the time like we did as a teen, we still get a sense of nostalgia whenever we log in. Genuinely wanted to take time to write a review for the chance that someone will read it and give this game a go and potentially gain that same nostalgia. :).
Honestly best mobile mmo Ive played. Just as fun and addicting as the browser games.
We love this game. The people and content keep it fun. Unfortunately Pink Afro is notorious for bullying and nothing has been done except a short mute here and there. We hope we can have more concerts and live events because the live event store has so many adorable accessories. This game has a lot of effort put into it. You should definitely give it a try. It has a good player base where most players are happy to help you grow.
Love this game!! Ive been playing on and off between life and work for the past 4 years. Its always something to do thats laidback and relaxing. Even met the game devs the same year we started playing! Theyre all awesome people. Dage, artix, and vesper were all super cool and super nice.
Been playing your games for 20 years, and since then you have even further developed your style. Love it, please add controller support on ios.
Its beautiful watching this game grow so much since we were a kid. Now all we need is Mech Quest and Id be glued to our phone all day.
This game wud greatly benefit from having mobile controller support.
Love the game and we hope it continues to get even better. We would like to see one thing though which is guild halls added into the game, just so guilds have somewhere to meet up and decorate their guildhall however they please.

Cant progress Mason story line anymore. Game is broken. UPDATE: Dev responded within 48 hours with a solution. Active teams are awesome and we are satisfied. The bug was fixed.
Just wanted to update our review. We have played off and on for years now. We love the humorous story line. Some people like it some people love it.come on and find us. Flatliner.
Okay so first off this is a 10 star game so its off the charts, it has an awesome story great content & community but we want this heard as one of the higher ranks in game we have everything completed except gambit tabards & a couple off quests Im not rushing. Here lately though is a different story. Theres so much going on you cant physically live a healthy life & experience the game fully without falling behind. For instance.. We received the afk legend but now Im just logging in to ring of doom daily which is not cool after a week & a half of being afk thinking from a new comer mind set, what the actual you know what, do we do how do you expect these new players to play the game & keep up with this new ridiculous grind content. We just dont see how. Like we said Im almost max rank & fully complete with game & still grinding new content, so its not like Im complaining for ourselves, we constantly see people that havent seen half the game. All Im trying to say is the new players shouldnt have to feel this constant grind strain for cool new stuff when theres a HUGE game to experience. Once again almost max rank, almost complete with all quests, slow it down on the grinding please mainly out of the respect of your community so we dont burn out, after all you do only have so many hours in a day. We also get people demand content please just find the happy medium. Love the game, great work! Just please consider what we said. Theres no physical way for players to catch up on quests & keep up without just draining themselves. Theres a point where a game becomes a job if you catch our drift.
Ive been playing this game for 12 years! By far one of the best free MMORPG out there to this date. Please try this game out people and help bring the community and attention this game deserves.
Our banks are full and we have nothing but limited event items and we cant get anything because even our inventory is full can you imply more ways to achieve more bank and inventory space without paying a more f2p way we buy a lot of cosmetics with no where to put them.
We have played this game for years on phones. It works great on iOS. We decided to give it a try on our new Macbook Air. It isn't really playable on MacOS, which is really disappointing. The screen doesn't size properly and the controls are rather impractical with no keyboard support.
Be careful playing this game! Between it's witty storyline banter, to its expansive maps and world areas it will leave you wanting more. 10/10 The devs are still working out some bug problems and its technically not completed however a must play in our book.
Our character keeps spawning underground and we cant do anything? Love the game, just confused if the new update broke for some reason.
We cant get it to load for over a month now, we dont see any updates that need to be installed and it says the message Unable to load version data Otherwise Id rate it 5/5.
We played adventure quest dragon fable mechquest AQW and we cant remember the other one but we played then all as a teenager now Im 26 and this is big throwback been playing this for years taking breaks here and there , we bet a mobile mechquest would BREAK the AppStore just a thought artix.
Can we Please! Get epic duel on mobile or a new epic duel where its how it was before omega! Possibly aq world mobile.
Please add raids with puzzles or even just hoards of enemies coming at you and a few mini bosses until you get to the actual boss. We love this game very much and the people who made it.
Maybe add more skills for every class, and some new classes would be great but fun game if you have lots of spare time.
By far the best open-world game we have ever played.
As a kid we played AQW on computer and now them making the 3D we just can always play. This game could use some graphics updates and maybe more items added but other than that is a great game.

Ive been playing AQ classic since 2006 and when we first heard about this game we couldnt believe it and was ecstatic. This crippling bug needs to be addressed ASAP. Thank you.
Does Aextras still work? Ive completed so many surveys and we havent received anything back – its been some days past and the reward says 30 min to a couple hours… Is it because Im doing them on our phone and it doesnt process the completion correctly? If you guys get to answer… Thanks.
The Akriloth challenge does not have a fair drop rate, Extreme is so annoying to play over and over and over again just to win volcanic scale. We have played him over 50 times and won nothing but volcanic scale, its so annoying cause he has two life bars and he drops minions back to back and most of the time theres not alot of players in akriloth so hes just overly strong for 5 ppl when u need atleast 7-8.
The game really doesnt involve strategy like its suppose to. All you need is a thumb and you win the battle. Theres nothing fun about the game. It takes forever to level up. Theres nothing different except the type of monster youre fighting each time.
If you enjoy adventuring games this one will give you all you need. You can customize your own character and select different classes. Cant wait to see whats coming in the future.
