A Glimpse into Atomas

Atomas is a fascinating puzzle game, which you can learn in seconds but will entertain you for weeks. The perfect game for your spare time!

Your little universe starts with hydrogen atoms only but with the help of the energy rich plus atoms you are able to fusion two hydrogen atoms into one helium atom, 2 helium atoms into one lithium atom and so on. Your primary goal is to create the valuable elements like Gold, Platinum and Silver.

But watch out, if your universe is overfilled with too many atoms it will cause a big crunch and the game is over.
One way to prevent this is to build up long symmetries in your atoms and start big chain reactions.

From time to time minus atoms appear, use them for absorbing and replacing atoms within your universe or sacrifice them for a plus atom.

You see Atomas is not hard to play, but if you want to get to the top you’ll need a good strategy, which keeps your atoms organized.

By creating new elements like oxygen or copper you unlock lucky charms, which effect the game in various ways and adjust it to your strategy.

What Atomas offers you:

  • 4 different game modes
  • simple but addicting game mechanics
  • 124 different atoms to create
  • 12 different lucky charms
  • exciting challenges
  • compare your scores with friends via GameCenter
  • share your score on twitter and Facebook
  • quick tutorial

The developers high score is 66 534. Can you do better?

Ok we just want to say one thing. Yes.

PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INSTRUCTIONS! Lucky charms? Modes? PLEASE! Basic gameplay is easy, we get it fine, but all the variations and extras are a mystery still. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

We think that this game is sometimes boring because you die. But it can be good game to waste a time.

Dude this game is the perfect gam. Its design is pleasant, its simple yet complicated, and its a great way to challenge your brain. This is our first good review on any game by the way so you know that Im picky. Plus NO ADS!

Was looking for something to play that didnt require WiFi. Keep us entertained for a few minutes or something. It does require some luck to get very far. But hey, its a few minute distraction while standing in line, or waiting for a table, etc. Plus we like the element theme.

Good, but it needs a lot of strategy.

Everything from the design to the animations, to the power ups and different modes, its all incredible. This is one of those games that you should have to pay for, especially since we dont get a bunch of annoying and unsettling ads. This game was one of the few games our mom had on her first iPhone and we would love playing it when we were younger because it made us feel like we were learning and becoming smarter, and now we have that sentimental reminder ever time we open it :). Thats another thing we love that about this game, is that it helps the user learn while also playing a fun laid game. Truly impressed with this game and the Banker by the same developers! Round of applause for your team!!!

We’ve been playing this little game for about 4 years now. Its helped us deal with our panic attacks and inspired us in some ways that even if we explained it, you wouldnt fully understand.

The only game we have that has no ads and enjoy every time we play. Thank you to the developers for such a fun concept. The thrill of making new elements keep us motivated and Is fun. We cant wait to beat the developers score.

Been playing this for a year now. Relaxing way to pass the time if you just need to distract yourself for awhile. If you know a little about chemistry you will see some familiar names, and a lot of not so familiar ones. Lots of fun with just enough strategy to keep you engaged. That being said, you wont make it much past level 60 without a power up. Not sure if its impossible or Im just not as talented. Either way, spend a few dollars to get a power up and see if it helps you move past a rough spot. Even without paying anything its still lots of fun. Definitely check it out!

Fun game to play with we think we could be not as hard but fun. So far we have got to element 12 mg.

There is no downside to this game It helps us study, no ads, its addicting, simple, well made, and so much more If there was one thing we would add, it would be to put the name of the center atom at the bottom to help engrave the name of it into our head Other than that its the perfect game.

We think this is one of our favorite games honestly. Its simple and fun. We do have one thing we want to kind of complain about though: when there is no more space for atoms and the game ends, sometimes the next thing was a plus. We think when it is a plus, it should allow you to go one more time before it ends because you could get some more space and continue playing.

Such an addicting and polished game with great mechanics! And we love that its helped us memorize the elements when we wasnt even trying.

Amazing app. No ads, just playing. Can spend small money for small bonuses if youd like, in no way necessary. Wish more apps were like this.

The title says it all, honestly. We really enjoyed this game.

This is an amazing game as biochemist we enjoy it very much thank you!!!

So we usually just rate a game if we enjoy it but Atomas has been one of the best games we’ve played in a really long time. Thoroughly enjoyable every time we reach a new element.

Its way too based on rng it would be way better if it wasnt as do but its really cool and would recommend it to kids like us who are learning about the periodic table :D.

Let us start by saying, this is one of the best mobile games you can play. No micro transactions, forced ads, or timers that make you wait to play the game. This is just a fun little strategy game that has cute little atoms. This game is worth the $0 price tag, even if it was $1 it would still be worth it. Message to devs: we found a glitch involving the black hole. If the black hole is placed in a particular spot, it can cause two of the same atoms with a plus between them to not join together. We took a screenshot of this if our explanation isnt clear.

This game is really fun and we really love playing it. But, some of the atoms colors are too similar to each other and it messes us up. For example, magnesiums color is extremely similar to the plus atom color. It makes gameplay more difficult.

So send a rate for four stars chromium gets out.

Let us start by saying we LOVE this app, we’ve been playing since high school and encountered essentially no bugs, no issues playing the game and have had hours of entertainment from this game, but with this recent update (Im on iPhone 11) everything seems to be missing, theres no game modes other than the standard and no option to go to our high scores. Kinda a bummer considering we used to love Zen Mode. Any solutions? An update fixing the bug coming soon? Anything?

Esta bueno el juego, el problema es que tienes que pagar por solo quitar la mitad de los tomos ._. XD.

Really fantastic game that is challenging without being frustratingly so. What is frustrating is that opening the game will stop and prevent playback of anything youre listening to (Spotify, etc) even with the sound and music turned off. This is exactly the type of game thats best enjoyed while listening to something.

With ALL the colors available; why are some symbols the same color? And why are the symbols white? Please make them larger and a darker color.

We really, really want we just love this game, but the more times you play it the more obvious it becomes that theres something not right with the way atoms are distributed. Each time a new game starts, the ratio of pluses to atoms is skewed waaaay toward pluses. Like, get a couple of atoms, then three pluses in a row, a couple more atoms, two more pluses… Its really common for us to have only 3 or 4 atoms but 5 or 6 pluses all stacked up on the same board. Then once youve played for a bit, no more pluses. We’ve tried hoarding them, but that just fills up the board so we cant have as many atoms to work with. By the time we’ve gotten up to Gallium or so, we just get ten or more atoms in a row with no pluses. Its impossible to advance. Please fix this!

You know what a tutorial is for, right?

We like the game but the custom elements that end with 1 are confusing.

Going into classic, we thought we were gonna get a good, high score. Couple games and end up failing because barely any plus. Ok, then Ill use the Oxygen boost! Next round ends up us getting way too many unnecessary plus signs and when l finally need one it never shows up. Checking what we were going to get next was a plus. Seriously? And that is insane. Too much luck and when you need to be lucky you arent. Wouldve rated 2 star if it wasnt for the fact that we love science and the periodic table.

Not fun. Several glitches. Dont waste your time responding to our review, spend it fixing this awful game.

We wish we could post a screenshot with the review, six +s at the beginning of todays game. Seems to be happening more often now. The developers dont respond to reviews, well with free you get what you pay for eh? The game has a number of positives going for it. But unfortunately the randomness of it isnt one of them. We’ve played a number of times now and the +s come in waves at the beginning of each game and then disappear as atoms build up. We’ve had literally more +s then atoms then they disappear. Is it a coincidence that a paid feature removes atoms so game play can continue? Not likely time and again we play free games that use a paid fix for the lack of randomness in their random games. Sorry we dont like to be played, only play Still having a significant problem with the randomness issue. Not quite ready to quit and delete but if the developer doesnt want to respond to concerns then why bother playing a game that just irritates you.

It pushes you into a corner until you meed to pay to win. This is a great concept but its ruined by a bad pay to win form. We wished this was a pay once game. Its impossible to win without paying for bail-out items, and makes us feel like a loser.

Despite the aesthetic and clean animations, this game has no complexity and was poorly thought out by the developers. 1) Gameplay While the core premise of this game is sound, serious players will be disappointed by the lack of thought put into the game modes. Notably, in classic mode it is possible to have a highest atom that is is twice as large as the atoms that are spawning. This leads to a tedious grind that leaves your spawned atoms trailing slowly behind while your largest atom slowly crawls higher. This does not make for exhilarating gameplay and it is worth playing only once. 2) Achievements and Unlockables No thought was put into the creation of unlockables as many of them work against the player during the game. Perhaps you enjoy the challenge that these unlockables give, but they do not add difficulty to game play. In fact, they disrupt any winning strategy, making the game more of a grind. Moreover, any useful hardly changes the gameplay. Many achievements encourage grinding and the mystery achievements have no way of completing. While the app is free, and does not matter in general, we cannot help but to express our disappointment in the game. We are extremely disappointed in the developers ability. This is genuinely a terrible game.

Taking an intro to chem class for an easy A. The first quiz of the semester is over the first 20 elements in the periodic table. We already know most of them but this game is a pretty fun way to study in this case.

This game is amazing and way too addicting, yet sometimes it can leave you feeling in the wrong. Half the time we die, is just based on a string of the same element with no plush tiles. You instantly fill up and lose no matter what you do, and you are left feeling cheated. You dont think we can better myself or we couldve done this you just ask why? Its quite annoying when this happens, and it mostly just prompts us to rage quit. Please fix this, also add more boosters after radon, one like boron where you start at a higher level, we feel like the last element could start you at like uranium or something, it would make the game much more enjoyable. Amazing game.

Lots of fun to play, and a great way to learn the elements. We just have one problemthe colors. For instance, the color for Cadmium and Cobalt are both blue, and their symbols look very similar (Cd and Co). We do not have great eyesight, so its very hard to distinguish between the two. There are other atoms that are similarthose that start with G are usually tan. We end up making mistakes in the games because we cant tell the difference.

We like this game. Its simple, fun, and challenging. The only thing keeping it from a 5/5 is one simple issue. You see, the way that you lose games is by filling up the game area with too many elements. 9 times out of 10, when you do have too many elements, they are placed in a way that if you can just get one positive then you would be able to continue. The game shows you what the next element that you wouldve gotten was before ending, and 90% of the time the next thing that you wouldve gotten is a positive. Its really annoying that you cant use a positive, negative, neutron, or anything before your game ends. If the devs made it so that you could do that one simple thing, then the game would be a 5/5 in our book.

Thank you for fixing the chain reactions! It’s fun to play again without changing the way we would play before the update!

Game is back to normal now. Thanks!

Love this game, but we just ran into a glitch. We were in the middle of a game and had to close it for a bit. When we came back to the game, we had a chain reaction that included an unstable isotope. As the unstable isotope was combined it read +2164839 or something like it (didnt memorize it exactly before it faded) and our score reset to 720 it was a few thousand before that reaction.

One of our favorite free mobile games – definitely stands the test of time – but a couple bugs hold us back from rating 5/5: – unstable isotope integer overflow subtracting ~several million, resetting our score to 0 in the middle of a game. This was in Geneva mode. Havent been able to replicate it but the emotional damage… – it could be our phone case but we find that atoms are sometimes sent to the position opposite of where we tapped. – can no longer type in name or share score after losing. Still highly recommend it though.

This game is absolutely addicting and super funas puzzle games of this magnitude usually arebut the game over screen that has the option to enter your name etc. Simply just doesnt function for us. Other than that and some other minor bugs, this game is incredible!

There is a glitch where isotopes do not show their mass number. It is important to know this information in game. Thanks, btw the game is fun as usual.

With the new iOS update, Atomas will shut down all music apps playing in the background (Apple Music, iHeart Radio, Spotify, etc). The app needs an update to make it compatible with iOS 13.
