Getting better but still sucks. No random.

We have been playing this game on two iPhones. On one we amounted ~460,000 points on the other ~ 150,000. When we started the App today we were defaulted on both devices to 300 points !!! This is a theft.

Before downloading this game, they tell you its fair dice. So we tried it. Ive tried every Backgammon download there is when you get dice specifically targeting a move and shutting it down and then you get doubles continually then you know right away the game is fixed we wish someone would just make a fair dice Backgammon. We guess itll never happen. We wont play this one again.

Love backgammon love the app best we have played on.

We initially rated the game low because of how moves worked, but support provided us insight that helped with our understanding. Appreciate the timely response.

Rated two(2) stars due to the good graphics and gameplay (when it works). The game has severe flaws, not the least of which is their support. From within the app, we clicked on support, wrote a detailed description of the issues, clicked done, and when it went to the next screen where you would send/submit, all of the text that we wrote was gone (the text box was empty). This would be a good app/game if the flaws were fixed and we would have rated it 4-5 stars. But as it is today, 2 stars is appropriate.

While the rolls in this game do seem a lot random and fairer than other backgammon apps, there is not much else nice to game. This game is for hardcore gambling types only. The first basic level is nice. There is no doubling cube, the games are friendly, and are decided mainly on skill. Unfortunately, once you win too many games at this level (even if your win rate is under 50%), even if you are enjoying yourself, spending coins on silly colored dice, etc. The game automatically advances you to the higher levels. That is where the fun stops. The doubling cube is introduced, a 12% vig is taken from any winnings, play becomes aggressive etc. Would have been happy to keep playing at the first level, spending our coins, and making money for the developer. But apparently that is not what they want. They only want the aggressive hardcore players who will double and double upon themselves, lose all their coins rapidly, and have to buy and buy new ones. Not even much else to achieve. Prizes and awards are virtually nonexistent. So we left, but not after writing this review to warn people.

Theres no way this game plays random dice. Not fair rolls. Not to many players as it takes a while for someone to show up and play. Movement and graphics are great, but dice are frustrating.

We LOVE THE GAME, however, right now a game opens but never gets started (no dice) yet it deducts from your coin balance. It has been like this all morning. Please address. Thanks.

Funny how we can have a 100% win/loss rate, isnt it? We just keep beating up on Royal level players and laugh every time we play. Keep up the whining app developers. You have achieved creating the most worthless backgammon game online. However we enjoy defeating every player we face. Champs? No, Backgammon Chumps is more like it we stand by our review above. They have no clue how bg is played. Oh this is truly not areal backgammon game. You don;t get to use the cube until you pass out of the lowest level called Royal. Even at the higher levels you are limited to how many times you are allowed to double. We wish we could directly share the scathing reply we received from the developers once we pointed out a couple of blatant weaknesses in their gam. We will do this and share a part of what they said to us Dear RxxSxxxxxx ( Name blocked by us), every society has pedophiles, rapists, bullies, and sadists and you are not the first and last psychopath we have seen. We are sure even your family member (sic) does not tolerate you 100% have mental issue. Visit a psychiatrist instead of playing backgammon, you need help Nice, huh? Well try as a way they might we will keep playing and beating the crap out of every player in the Royal level. It amuses us. So, go ahead and download this app, but know it has grave limitations as noted above. And if you do play here look out for Psychopath. That will be us.

We played several games and noticed we could call the rolls we would roll or our opponent would roll. When we reached out to app support we were told If you are not mature please do not use this game. The app is not worth the crooked die or the rude support.

First off we were winning at a 65% clip for 2 months. Now that we are a little higher we are losing at about 80%. Its because the game wants you to pay for coins to play. As for the glitches, when its your turn to roll, the screen has a quick glitch and all of a sudden your opponent is rolling for a second time in a row. Ive also seen where the game goes no available moves and skips your turn when we had plenty of moves. It was only the third roll of the game! We also want to mention that during our 2 week losing streak our opponents have been consistently getting double after double. One game they got 7 doubles at the end. We understand luck but this is way beyond random luck. Even if you dont want to believe us that all of a sudden Ive hit the worst luck streak ever, you simply cant overlook your opponent getting to go twice in a row early. Ive lost too many games on the last turn after getting skipped.

Theres no way this is random. The other player always gets exactly what they need. Also theres no way this is random when the other player rolls doubles 4 times in a row. We might not be the best, but this isnt random either.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE & TOLD ME THAT we SHOULD READ PREVIOUS EMAILS, AFTER we SPENT MONEY ON TOKENS.

First of all, we can say that we think the dice are random. The problem we have with the game is the freezes that make us forfeit to move on. We have politely asked several times the developer about this, but get same condescending form letter no matter what we say. Except when we respond to form letter with our dissatisfaction, they respond with insults. Not professional at all. Recommend you use in free play but give them no money unless they actually provide service or support. Oh, and now the blocked us from play. Very professional. Oh, and now Ive been banned.

Youll be amazed how many consecutive 1-2s you will roll. Be astounded when your opponent rolls doubles practically every time you accept a doubling bet. Opponents will play slowly when getting trounced. But still, a fun game.

The devs swear up and down that its a random dice roll. Guys. Either you fundamentally do not understand what random means or you think everyone else is stupid. You sell coins. If a person has the volume of coins to suggest that they spent money on your app, they magically get 4 pairs in the final few moves. They get EXACTLY the roll they need EVERY SINGLE TIME. Thats not random. This app is no different than all the others. Dont believe us? Play it for a day. Maybe two. Youll get some wins. But then 100% of the time you play someone with 20K chips and a profile picture and using the upgraded dice, they get impossible roll after impossible roll until you just close the app mid-game because whats the point. Dev do not put a lying response to our comment. Everyone who has played knows it is a lie you are only lying to people who have not yet found out it is pay to play but they will eventually find out. So save your breath. This app deserves the same zero stars as the rest.

This is a fair backgammon App. However, From time to time the game freezes and one can not do anything about it. A couple of times we were winning on the last dice throw and the game froze but then after it came back the coins were substrates from any account. We are sure that we had wifi connectivity and it was the opponent who lost the wifi connection. We have also a hard time to move the pieces. They dont move with a touch.

Was enjoying this app but found it slightly boring that opening other boards didnt give you a different board, just the same board but higher wagering, not a big deal but would of been better if the boards actually changed. Did an update recently and lost all our progress and everything had reset back to the beginning so unfortunately Ive lost interest.

Not only did they respond rudely to our negative review (big shock lawl) but they removed our negative review after. No doubt theyll do that again here but hopefully at least a couple people can see this before then and hopefully steer clear. Also to the mod, go back to 4 Chan, they miss your toxicity.

Since the most recent update the game is much less enjoyable. It wont let you play the lower level boards after getting a certain coin level and there arent enough people playing the higher levels. You have to wait 2-3 minutes for someone to join your game and if you leave before someone else joins youre out the coins..which at the level Im forced to play is 2500 coins. Really annoying! Wish we could play whatever board we want do we dont have to wait so long. Ive just started playing other backgammon apps so we dont have to spend so much time waiting.

Whatever they say about dice being random, it is not true. All games will have at least one double six and mostly multiple. Highly unlikely. One game had 5 double sixes. Chance of that is 1 in 60 million. Should not even happen in our lifetime. That just takes the fun out of it.

Baiting these developers is fun! Out of their minds. Btw, we paid for coins, you made money off us. Be appreciative, you loons. (we checked back in to see if you had come to your senses and make changes. You didnt. And for the record, we said this was a good game. We complimented you. Your attacks are out of control, now we just want people to see how abusive you are and choose another app.) – They locked boards you previously worked hard to unlock claiming they dont want more experienced players battering inexperienced players, but since this change we keep getting paired with people at levels way above ours, Im losing games all the time and we lost all the coins we built up. Complete rip off. They ruined one of the better backgammon games available.

Its a shame really. It could be a good game. Every session we play, it appears its the opponents turn, they time out and we lose money. We have to quit and restart. We dont get it. Very glitchy. This was our last download of the game.

After an update you can no longer choose to play any game you have to play higher priced games. All about money.

We had almost 300,000 in win points. Turned the game back on and we had 14,000. Thought it was a reboot problem. No! Does not encourage playing to advance.

All that talk about open source code and fairness, yeah we dont think so. Someone please explain how 7 games in a row the opponent needed a double six to win at the end and they got it. Not a double 5 or 4 but only 6. This is ridiculous Update: its also unbelievable how these developers call everyone who disagrees with their mediocre, sorry excuse of a game pathetic losers. Thats their answer to everything. Its sad.

Ive had it! Your bots are just too good for us. Just unbelievable they can maintain a win percentage of 74% plus. Thanks for taking the time to explain how fair your dice rolls appear to be.

Rolls are NOT fully random. One example, notice the unusual frequency of doubles denying entrance with a piece on the bar. Good user interface, sometimes buggy.

No matter what you do or try once you start losing you will loseone right after the other. If you win to much it will beat you time and time again.

Theyve done something to the game, Im sure there is something involved with more revenue, which is fine, but dont waste your time here if youre looking for a realistic game. Too bad, was decent for a long time, but definitely avoid this one now.

We started this app to learn how to play. We were enjoying it but yesterday we went to get on and found we were blocked. We emailed to find out. They let us know because we didnt always move up to play in the others rooms we were blocked. It never stopped us from playing in the first room nor was we playing with beginners. People we were playing with was at a higher level then us or at the same level. We were only at level 8 and a lot of time playing people at level 12 so we dont understand other then time to find a better app.

We played the game for quite awhile we went up to 435k we lost half of it in one day we bet most of the guys who developed this game are on Earth less longer than we played this game . This is why all the childish behavior and answers they give to negative reviews They made up some rules that you must agree with and then if you leave a bad review they send you to the doctor Instead we think they are the ones who need to see a doctor Would be a huge question mark for us when we get only 1k reviews when other similar games have tens of thousands. You have a hard time finding opponents when you move up on the ladderThat is another question mark about the popularity of the game we are going to leave it here and not getting into how rigged is the dice algo.Everybody knows there is no difference between all those games You buy you win Dont buy youre losing.

A backgammon game with a true random dice generator would be great. After a few games you can see the algorithm. The game literally chooses who will win. If you get bumped you will seldom get back on the first roll. If the 2 and 6 slots are covered, your odds of double sixes, double twos, or a 2-6 are about 90%. If you have two pieces bumped, you will seldom, if ever, get them both on in a single roll. Miracle doubles are predictable. If you get too far ahead, your opponent will frequently get boxcars. Your opponent will start 90+% of the time. This is not random. Perhaps the developers dont know what random means. The anger management issues of the yahoos who developed it are also pretty obvious. They should work harder to make rolls random instead of ranting. :) Lowered to one star. Personal attacks instead of addressing the issues. Demands for inaccurate reviews. Accusations of blackmail when we havent asked them for anything. Hilarious! They blocked us from playing because of this review. They apparently only like the reviews they wrote themselves. These folks seriously appear to be mentally unstable.

Game is rigged since recent upgrade. No way are the rolls statistically possible.

We reported an issue and gave the game a poor rating. Instead of dealing with the issue of the game crashing they locked our account. 2/23/2022 Downloaded the new update. It will not run. Immediately freezes after starting a new game. Emailed developer and again got a nasty response about our internet and insulting to us.

Their random generator is a farce at best. Wonder why they have so few ads anymore? Better backgammon games out there for advertisers. They frequently have to put claims in the game to state that their random generator rolls of the dice are truly random. Dont waste your time.

Game freezes ALL the time (especially when youre winning). Bots abound; the opponents are bots; dont let the names and flags fool you! What a joke! Prepare to loose unless you buy their stupid coins! And their customer service reps are idiots. Yeah block us from playing your stupid game; Ill find a MUCH BETTER ONE.
