Great game, love the games with color – mega cool. The UI is not ideal. We wish when we swiped over previously filled out squares, that it wouldnt overwrite them. Instead it should just skip them. Finally, would love a dark mode – black background, etc. Keep up the great work!

We absolute love the challenge of this pictogram game, especially since the puzzle solutions are amazing pictures and not some random patterns. The interface works wells and is intuitive to use. Our only complaint? That they don’t come out with new packs often enough!

The playing cursor is annoying. So much less convenient than just tapping and swiping like other apps. Wish there was an option to turn it off. Quit after 3 puzzles.

Great unique interface that makes solving the puzzles fun and challenging. B&w and color puzzles. Free starters to see if you like it with more puzzles to buy. Puzzles are tested so not impossible to solve like some others are. Check answers option with display error as an option so you can get as much help as you want. Great game design.

Lots of unique puzzles to keep you busy for days.

These average 20 puzzles for $2, so ten cents per puzzle. These are really cheap thrills! They take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours. We’re a wiz at these, and we really feel like we got way more than our money’s worth. The worst and only problem is that sometimes the pictures aren’t very obvious even after completion. Then again, we don’t actually care what the picture is, the goal for us is brain exercise, so correct completion makes us happy. We even think little kids should try these, they force logical thinking and in absolute desperation you can enter anything, and have your puzzle checked. These are well done and well worth the money.

Excellent implementation of our favorite puzzle type. Users can create and submit puzzles, too! Very cool.

Really enjoyed this game! Our previous experience playing Nonograms had been in a Kindle without touch, so we had to adjust our game play. But once we got used to the new controls we loved it! We thought the color was crazy hard at first, now we love em! Im to cheap to purchase any more games, so Ill just erase and replay these free ones for now! Just fine for casual play and challenging enough for us!

We love nanograms and we love the way this app has made the game so fun and challenging. 1 thing we would recommend…. As you play the game, the numbers on the side should turn gray …. Almost translucent. With so many numbers and colors it’s hard to loose track of what you’ve already done and what you need left. Maybe have it as a optional setting… Just some food for thought. But other than that… We still love it and we play it all the time!

The puzzles are the awesome and perfect level of challenging for us, however the one tweak we would suggest is making a left-handed user view. Our hand blocks our view when we’re sliding down the rows and columns and it’s awkward having to constantly angle our iPad and arm so we can see what squares we’re altering.

From easy to very challenging, enjoyable logic puzzles.

If you like nonograms, you’ll love this app. There’s a black & white mode and a color mode – both are quite challenging. The developer’s puzzles are well-created and worth the $2 bucks (think of it as buying a puzzle book at the airport). But you can also get users-created puzzles free and make your own. Add this to your collection of puzzle games. You won’t regret it.

We wish the red navigation cross was always on so we don’t have to restart every time a cell is populated.

Enjoy the user submitted grids.

It is so much fun to try our hand at creating Nonogram puzzles. And there are many puzzles to do as others make them.

We have been using this app for a few months. We love it. We think the user interface is better than any of the other nonogram apps. The screen is also the most pleasant to look at while using. A nice variety of nonograms of different sizes and subjects. We prefer the color versions and the larger sized pictures. They add new packages periodically, so we stay interested. This is the nonogram app we have settled on and we have deleted the others. Keep the new packages coming. Excellent app.

Of all the pixel puzzle games, this one is one of the best. Great application, simple format etc. Our one hesitation is that there is no longevity… If you don’t want to pay. Other pixel apps have weekly or even daily puzzles, making us keep them for months and years. We don’t buy apps as a policy, so unless new version come out with a regular free puzzle, when we are done with the program, we will have to erase it. It is really too bD!! We do recommend this for hours of fun.

One of the best we have tried. Free pictures are actually pretty good.

Of the dozens of picross / nonogram / hanjie apps, this one is the very best we have played. It is simply the best available. The interface is robust, and lends itself well to larger puzzles as well as colors. The community puzzles are great as well, and the free puzzles will take you at least 30 hours of play time to finish. There are hundreds of paid puzzles available after that, if you like.

Our favorite nonogram app. When are the next set of puzzles coming!!!!!!! Please more M,L and XL puzzles!

Within the nonograms, one of the best.

We’ve searched high and low for a Nonogram app with a puzzle creator–IQ Nonogram went beyond all expectations. While other apps either crash during the creating of a puzzle, or take your puzzle and not give you credit for making it, IQ Nonogram gives to whom credit is due. We enjoy the added features of posting puzzles, downloading other users’ Nonograms, and the puzzle rating system, which are all wonderful bonus. The user interface is unique and takes some time getting used to; however it fits the purpose of reducing accidental taps. The only gripe, if we were to have one, is that there should be an overview window as to what the puzzle will look like while creating a puzzle. Currently, we find myself squinting or stepping away to get a better overall view. Happy Puzzling!

The puzzles are pretty good and reasonably well designed. The controls, on the other hand, are just plain horrible and just navigating to the spots you want to fill in (either with blanks or non-blanks) is time consuming and counterintuitive. We recommend switching to a methodology similar to what Conceptis uses in its Pic-a-Pix app rather than the clunky find-a-spot, then choose from a pop up methodology uses. By our estimation even the easiest puzzles could be done in half the time with a better control mechanism. (I lost count of the number of times in the first three puzzles, that the controls resulted in our changing the established correct data in a given square, to the incorrect one…)
