BADLAND is an award-winning atmospheric side-scrolling action adventure platformer set in a gorgeous forest full of various inhabitants, trees and flowers. Although the forest appears to be right out of a beautiful fairy tale, there’s something terribly wrong. The player controls one of the forest dwellers to find out what’s going on, and discovers an astonishing number of imaginative traps and obstacles on the way.
BADLAND takes side-scrollers to the next level with its innovative physics-based gameplay combined with stunning, atmospheric graphics and audio.
BADLAND also features a highly original local multiplayer mode for up to four players on the same device, where the name of the game is survival of the fittest with no rules. It’s totally OK to push your rivals in front of spinning circular saws to survive. Or, if that's too rough for you, you can also cooperate with your friends and play the modified single player campaign with up to four players.

This game is easy to play, very challenging, and beautiful. If you like Inside or Limbo with a tap game like Flappy Bird this game is for you.
Ever since Badland Party discontinued, we have been playing this game and we stopped us from crashing out.
This game is so fun. SHOUT OUT TO MY HOME BOYS AT FROGMIND FOR MAKING THIS MASTERPIECE.
This game is so great that we got it for the Nintendo Switch! Very chaotic, but also forgiving. Instead of being forced to completely restart a level when you die, you restart from checkpoints, which alleviates a lot of the stress that you get from similar games. Very fun, and easily worth a few bucks.
We really like this game but the only thing we didnt like about all the badland games is that theres no backwards controls whys there no backwards controls.
Bored, need to relax, or just feel like gaming this is a fun reasonably difficult adventure/action game Its has great graphics and great animations and still has no lag or glitches whatsoever ( at least we havent experienced any) Only areas to improve are: -Add a level maker -Make a clear example tutorial If you like this style game its definitely a must have game.
Yet another immediate deletion. If basic gameplay requires watching a YouTube first it gets deleted.
Controls make the game unplayable. The artstyle is cool and it seems like it would be fun, but its really not fun to play with how unresponsive the controls are.
This game is the absolute best, we remember playing this when we were about 11 or 10 and now Im 14I remember when it was free but ig its on Apple Arcade now.

The development of the game mechanics must have been a thrilling process. Wow! What bizarre and beautiful character controls and movement. Must have taken some open creative minds to come up with this world.

We played this game when it first came out, back when it was free. Loved it a lot, and was excited to see that it was free for Apple Arcade. But now that Ive downloaded it, the controls arent working. No matter where we hold our finger on the screen, we cant get the character to move. We really want to be able to play this game, so Im hoping this issue gets fixed soon.
This game is awesome! The full version is epic, with lots of color, and cool contraptions. Also, very hard levels. We do have one request though, something missing from the non-plus version, level maker. In conclusion, the game is awesome, epic, and cool! Just needing level maker mode though.
This is one of the best games on the apple store but the reason we rated 4 stars is because the level creator feature wasnt added!!! :(.
We think this is a flawless game on many ways, except for one: add music. A beautiful game like that needs some beautiful music.
We absolutely love this game!!!! We loved the other ones too. We will say from time to time, tapping to fly reaction dies completely at the same spot that Ive been tapping. But if we react quick enough, we can tap on the other side and itll resume. Also please add more levels! We want more to play.

Great game. But when we turn down the volume so we can listen to music, the volume returns back to 100%. Not cool.
We remember playing Badland on our grandmothers tablet growing up. We personally do not understand any reason for a 1star review. Its a pleasant challenge and love that its on Arcade now… (seeing as Im a penny pincher and the Arcade subscription helps with that in a way) we mean, over a hundred games at once? Cool! Anyhoo… Our only beef is the lack of level editor, seeing as theres none. Our favorite feature in any game is the option to create, customize, and personalize. So if there could be an update, (that we are positive is coming) that would be great.
For the most we're pretty pleased with this Arcade version of, Badland, which is one of our all-time favorite video games, thank you, Frogmind . Yet, this version doesn't contain the amazing level creator that the original Badland title does. We find its omission in this Arcade entry to be very odd honestly. We always thought the level editor was one of the best features of this video game. Thus, we'd like to ask the developer to please update Badland and please add your amazing level editor/creator to this game. We would be very, very grateful if you'd do that and you doing so would definitely make this Arcade version 5-stars in our opinion. Thank you if you'll consider our request, thank you for all of the hard work and time put into this game, for bringing the title to the Apple Arcade and God bless all of you at, Frogmind.
We love this game played the demo has a child loved it.
Im enjoying the game, but when we tried to play coop with someone on the Apple TV (with one player using a Steelseries MFI controller and the other using the Siri Remote), on the screen where it asks each player to press a button to join, it wouldnt recognize a touchpad click or any other button on the Siri Remote. It says on that screen that one player can use a Siri Remote, so we dont understand why that didnt work.
Honestly we were very excited to see this coming on arcade as we loved the 1st, the 2 and the clash Royale spin-off so when a new badlands was coming the arcade we were like very cool. So when it came out, we downloaded it and OKAY WHERE IS THE EDITOR, the game removed one of the best things in the game, why just why, Just play the original its 10 times better and does not have in app purchases and only costs 1 buck or something, but if you like the campaign its okay in that way its just Badland 1 that way.
Spent weeks and weeks trying to finish the game, trying to piece together the story and figure out what the game was about, and then theres no real ending?? Its just really frustrating to us as we feel like we wasted our time.
ITS FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE AND TOO HARD.
This game is the absolute worst.horrible mechanics and mind numbing. It is basically a prettier version of flappy birds. We hope apple is really going to step things up from this type of game.
Learning curve is too steep for us as a casual gamer. Delete.
Difficulty takes the fun out of it. Deleted Apple Arcade after a half hour of playing this.
