This is one the most entertaining games we’ve played on mobile, we just wish theyd update it with new things. Just cant get enough.

One of our favorite games we admire the art style and the gameplay there are a few bugs you one mainly that bothers us is that you cant scroll on the side to view the rest of your ships you used to be able to do that, as well as other minor details. Although we do wish you can use more than 5 ships it would be more interesting especially as in the endless mode it gets exponentially more difficult so it would be fun to get to the higher levels.

We stumbled across this game and installed it on a whim. Wow, it’s super fun! We just bought the full content pack and we can’t wait to battle all the new foes!

Desperately needs a progression system like Battlevoid: harbinger. Need a reward of some kind for completing missions because they are very difficult.

Update: Some lame, pointless dialogue. Detailed graphics wasted on the tiny game objects. Uses archaic PC button/commands instead of iOS gestures (most iOS app developers are guilty of that). And, unfortunately, repetitiously boring game play. While the App Store pictures are in landscape orientation, the game is the typical stuck in the iPhone box and only supports portrait orientation, do its not really completely iPad compatible since it doesnt support landscape.

Hours of fun. Our only complaint is the in-app purchase to get the extra levels won’t work for us. Been trying all day.

Complex and well thought out, but is rather difficult even on easy. More credits and a way to upgrade defenses would alleviate this and help balance the game.

In the sea of clash of clan and candy crush clone games, finding a truly complex and original title is refreshing. Download it, play it.

It’s way to hard to go though story could be better there should be a upgrade to the station and the turrets like more slots or something just way to hard.

One major one that happened 3 times is once we build up a force and purchase or capture our 2nd capital ship (ships larger than fighters) the game freezes up. The only fix is to reboot our phone. Once we log back in ALL our ships (fighters and capital) are gone and the enemies force still stands so at that point our base can’t fight off that much and we’re forced to start over or is this your idea of making the game difficult? Or is this a pay to play tactic? Let us guess we drop some cash and the issue stops? Honestly it could be a fun game. However the above is extremely frustrating.

Easy isn’t simple to win but it is winnable. Min marines and heavy on laser turrents plus support ships worked for us.

This team keeps pumping out great hits. We actually like the difficulty, A real game is supposed to be difficult. Keep up the good work guys!

This is a great game. A bit hard even on the easy level. We wish the easy level was a bit easier. After a few days the game worked again. We upgraded it one more and everything worked fine. However for some reason we cannot remove our 1st review of 1 star.

Defeat level 23! A great game requires a lot attention on allocating different resources in order to survive the battle. However, the game is too difficult to play, wish to know what’s after level 30.

This game is pretty fun to learn and play. The different difficulty levels really only matter until you get your ship decently outfitted, at which point you can steamroll through the rest of the game by upgrading weapons and swapping out ones for better alien variants. Playing carrier builds is prohibitively difficult to start with, but becomes consistently easy to overwhelm every enemy you encounter once you have 4+ bays with 4 plasma fighters swarming around. We wish there was a bigger difference in difficulty levels besides having less resources to start with and encountering better equipped enemies earlier. The extra few points gained from hard are easily lost with more grinding back and forth to be able to fight these enemies, as you lose 10 points for every "action" taken. Having a fleet of more than 3 capital ships would be pretty cool, but only if higher difficulties sent more capital ships against you to make battles more epic. Random events like with Out There or FTL would also add some fun to the late game steamrolling that inevitably occurs. A random little complaint: even with music and sounds turned off, the game mutes background music. Doesn’t matter the source. Doesn’t detract from gameplay, but it’s an annoyance nonetheless.

There are basically no directions and the user experience could be better but we don’t mind that. It adds an extra layer of something to figure out. We’re loving this so far. It’s challenging and surprisingly fun. Love the audio and graphics. This one is a lot better than their other game. We tried this because of an AMA the devs did on Reddit. Give it a try and give it some time. We promise it’s worth it. We would love to see this game iterated on. Just keep improving it and leveling it up. Could be classic.

The main story is being flushed out (play their other Harbinger title to see where this is going). We like the basic mechanics, and it is fun as a basic game. The waves are too hard right now as we can’t even finish the first chapter on easy mode (that should be pretty easy so people want to get more content!). Support these guys on Kickstarter. They have an interesting idea and are tweaking it as they go. Should be fun to see where they end up.

Super confusing. You have turrents and ships to fight enemies, but they give you marines which you cant use. No explanation of most things leaves you feeling lost. After 90 mins and 10 tries we cant beat first level. Seems like you can mass crappy turrents which wont kill but the weakest enemies after they already hit you many times, or you can mass ships, but youll run out of pilots because they die quickly Meanwhile you have stockpile of marines which dont fight but text says they defend your base???

Fun but too hard. We can’t get past stage 1 on easy.

Slight learning curve, but a blast to play once you figure it out. A bit of FTL but with is own flava. Can’t wait for the August release!

The Wanderers (first race) used to be very challenging but do-able. Last update moved them to impossible. Highest level we’ve been able to clear is 18 when we used to be able to at least reach the 50th level before the last update. Gotten very frustrated and we don’t care about the new universe coming soon. This game now is a complete waste of time.

This game is one of the most fun games we have ever played! Just wish the prices were cheaper. A couple of new units and this game would definitely be a 5 star.

They had an original just called Battlestations. This game was awesome and so much fun. They deleted it (after buying it for like $3) and made this which is another $3. Plus this one we really dont like compared to the other. Ruined the game for us by deleteing the better game and upgrading it to a piece of crap like this. Dont buy cause they will probably make a third and do this all over again.

An awesome game. Super frustrating only because you know you have to plan better but you still have to find your perfect strategy. Can’t really ask for more. Maybe some different fighters and a way to get more build spaces or space station. Thanks for the game love how it’s free!

All round pretty fun, but don’t expect a hugely engrossing experience. Worth the download.

This developer used to have a game simply called "Battlestation". It was nearly the same game, and it was a paid game, $2.99. It also had in-app purchases and was only on version 1.0.5 (i.e., had been rarely updated). They removed that game from the AppStore and added this one. Instead of updating their original game or even adding an in-app purchase to unlock new content, they’ve tried to force people to go wholly to the in-app purchase model and make extra money to boot. No one should ever support this developer because of their underhanded tactic in re-releasing this game and for dropping support of their existing game. If you decide to buy this game, know that your purchase will probably be worth nothing down the line after they reissue a third time so they can do yet another cash grab.

Really enjoyed it. Haven’t beaten the first episode yet. Died literally as the last wave boss died. Closest we’ve come. Hope it gets expanded as well as it’s PC cousin getting Kickstarted!

Need more levels!!! Game very interesting!

It was just too difficult after they "rebalanced " it Regretted buying the episodes.

Both version 1.0 and 1.1 just load the splash screen, and then crash. Would give it 0 stars if we could. Tried to report the bug on company web page, but they require you to log in….. No thank you. I’d be willing to send an email, but don’t want to set up a user account just to log your bugs.

Wasted money on a game that is now too hard to win after the update. Thanks for taking our dough!

It auto zooms and does not work well.

This game has a lot of potential, it seems like it would be a great game if there was a little bit more content then buying everything. If this game gets some good updates then we think it would be a great game.

Great game wish it worked on our iPad though.

This game is fun and challenging. Extra episodes are worth the challenge. We hope the developer actually adds the upgrades. Also, more stats on the menu would be nice for turrets and stuff.

This game is a lot of fun and is something we can play over and over again. There are plenty of strategies to explore and we’re excited to see what comes in the future. Great feel to the game too, very polished and intuitive interface, fun graphics and great sounds too. Awesome work!

The game has solid mechanics and is very fun for the short time you get to play (49 waves.) It falls short in content. There don’t appear to be very many items in the game so play throughs feel the same quickly. We really enjoyed the game but don’t want to spend money for each additional chapter as is.

Scaling larger than the screen. Cutoff on top and right. Please look into this.
