Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

Ive had this game for many years now, but it never gets old! Im still finding new tricks to improve our times. If you enjoy precise, challenging platforming, you should definitely download this game! Its clear that so much care went into making it, and its a real bargain. We miss the days when the only way to get to the ending cutscene was through a clever glitch (but we do acknowledge that its probably better for the vast majority of players now).

This game is such a joy. If you see this then you should play this game. It is a fun and challenging experience we remember playing it so much as a kid and just revisiting it changed nothing. Its still the experience we remembered. Five stars.

Played this game years ago and just revisited it, awesome.

We love it it is so Fun!!! But bloo kid is funnier.

Extremely addictive! Oh, and great job on fixing the placement of the blookid 2 ad.

Addictive, has nice graphics and music. Cant ask for more.

We really like this game. It is just enough of a mental break. Great fun.

Hey we played this game all the way through and LOVED it. It would be worth a second go if ir had support for ios 7 gamepads like the Logitech Powershell Controller! We would really like that! And great job on the game, its awesome :D.

We love this game its like mario but better.

We payed $1.99 for a game that you stomp mobs we thought this would be like the 2nd but a different adventure.

If you like Mario we highly recommend this game it is Awesome and it rocks too much.

Why does the icon have to say FREE.

The game's great! But our only complain is that on the 3rd world, 8th level is impossible to get 3 stars. Because you have to get hit by the plant shooting to get to the other side. If only the game maker didn't have those stupid spikes on the ground.

Great game! Lots of variety, and really fun platforming. Quick to pick up and play — and we've spent way too much time with it.

Great game. Awesome levelsand the best bosses.

It's one of the best games we've ever played on ios.

PLEASE OPTIMIZE FOR THE IPHONE 5 SCREEN!!!!!! Anyway it's good but levels are difficult because the game isn't optimized for iPhone 5.

However you can't play music while playing which is a bummer.

Make game easier Make 1 life only.

Worst game ever NO skill needed.

This game kinda stinks. No power ups. No weapons of any sort. Weak storyline. We don't recommend it.

This is one of the best games we have found on the iPhone. It has lots of levels that increase in difficulty at the perfect rate, it has that good old Snes style graphics and sound bite. But unlike the free version there are sone bugs. Trying to restart a game or going back to the world selection after leaving the game will freeze it. There are also some minor movement bugs. The free version is better. The only problem we have found is that your data from the free version is NOT transferred over so we have to redo them. They were fun though, so we are fine with that. And as far as people saying levels are too hard, some were difficult but if you keep trying you'll find little tricks to make it easier. Over all, great game.

This is by far our favorite game on iOS. It is a game with 16bit Snes graphics. It is a game like a platformer, but you defeat enemies instead of collecting things. Our only complaint is that it can be hard to reach the stars on some levels. We would like to see this come out for 3ds.

So far this is our favorite platformer for the iPhone. Cool retro feel, almost like an Amiga game. The difficulty progressed correctly too.

Some levels are too easy. Some are too hard to get 3 stars. We really enjoyed this game until we found some levels impossible. Plus, lots of bugs that mess with the controls. Please take care in designing a workable game.

Bloo Kid is simply one of the best games we have played so far! It has fun, excitement, challenge, and replay value. A must have in your collections.

We appreciate the retro feel, but it certainly doesn't have the retro "design". The levels are unnecessarily cramped, and there were many times where we screwed up a jump because there wasn't enough room… It's almost claustrophobic. Also, getting the third star for levels is dumb. Why did it appear all the way on the other side of the level? Why does it DISAPPEAR?! Makes no sense :/.

Really fun challenging platform/puzzle game and the controls are excellent! Graphics are perfect too. The story is a little tired, and the monsters are rather… Traditional (slimes, flowers that shoot stuff, skeletons)… But the gameplay is so good it doesn't really matter. Get the lite version if you want to test it out first.

Nice small game, with deceptive difficulty. Completely fair, though, with tight responsive controls.

We loved the first 10 minutes of the game until our character would get stuck running in one direction automatically and cause us to get hit…we beat the game getting all stars but with great frustration… We've been playing games for 20 years and this game will drive you nuts with cheap hits..for example when u jump on an enemy sometimes it connects sometimes it doesnt…also, if u try to jump off enemies, the button doesnt react at the time u push it thus leading to u getting hit…the challenge is fair until the nonsense begins…if u get this, know that you'll end up wanting to throw ur iphone at the wall.

After the loading screen all we get is a black screen.

The game won't open just keeps going to black screen. Tried unloading and reloading several times.
