Game keeps crashing for some reason when we enter the room to do the boss fight in the Hall of Termination area of the game please fix love the game.
Good graphics and story. Very fun to play.
No problem playing with this game Going full graphics and 60 fps just works, little to no pause lags. Actual console gameplay Good visuals, fun to play DualShock controller makes experiences playable.
If you love metroidvania games you will love Bloodstained. Its like Castlevania SotN and AoS with a good crafting system.
Game crashes if you enter the hall of termination boss door. This happens if you download the dlc IGA boss fight hoping for a patch. Or not we dont really care just a waste of money thats all.
It crashes once you open it and they wont even patch it up for mention anything about this issue its happening to everyone.

Excellent game but it crashes right before the Gebel boss fight in the Hall of Termination (ironic). This needs to be fixed as there is currently no way to finish the game!
Enjoying this on iphone 13 more than we would on Switch!

Great Metroid vania controls takes a bit to get used too but overall a good game.
Everything is perfect except for the achievements, they only show in the game but they arent connected to Game Center even though Im signed in with both apple ID and Game Center. Whats the point of having Game Center Signed in when we cant see any of the games achievements on it?
Game will not go past the net ease screen if youre running iOS 16or higher. 4 star review based on when we could play the game.
Overall, we absolutely LOVE this game, and Im already obsessed with Bloodless mode!! However – the game crashes right as we enter Gebels chamber, every single time. Like the game is programmed to crash there or something. We hope the developers and software engineers read this review so that they know to get this fixed ASAP. Im dying to progress past Gebel to the Den of Behemoths and Glacial Tomb!!
The game is awesome but when we get to a certain door in the game our game shuts off plz fix.
It is a great game, you will enjoy if you like Castlevania (the story is literally: demons are spawning from a Castle). The maps are well designed, as in complex enough but not that will get lost. Graphically, its pretty especially on Epic resolution at 60fps. The combat system is familiar and enjoyable, its not reinventing the wheel by any means. The game does what its advertising itself to be. So now the criticism (hopefully constructive if the devs bother to read): 1. The controller support feels like it was dumped on the guy who drew the short straw on before Christmas eve. First of all, there is no layout description, so if you play with controller just press buttons until stuff happens (FYI, up opens chess, your welcome dear reader). The controller doesnt work anywhere beside the game itself: not in the title screen, not in the menu screen, npc shop menu oh, and you cant even open or close menu with the controller. We tested with both the ps4 controller and the razer kishi. You would think that this might a hybrid design like what COD mobile is doing. No! This is just broken and lazy. 2. We love the fact that dialogues are all voiced, but sometimes its out sync with the text. Also, there should be a option auto move from dialogue box to dialogue box it kinda feels like the voice over was an afterthought.
Update: game does not run on iPhone 14 max is 16.3.1. Please update compatibility so we can resume enjoying this on the go. Game is great, classic symphony of the night feel. Disappointed in recent lack of updates and no m1 support. Controller support still requires touch controls as well which is frustrating.

Just finished a boss and we swear around 50% of our inputs were being ignored. Thank god you can stack recovery items. Overall our enjoyment has probably been half of what itd be in any other castlevania because of this.
This game pales in comparison to console because of the controller UI. Im assuming if you have some type of controller attachment accessory this would be perfect. If that were the case, 5/5 stars.

Im struggling to enjoy the game with a controller. Its playable but clearly not fully supported.
We really like this game and enjoyed playing it until recently we tried to open it and now it keeps crashing. We also tried to contact the developer to fix this problem but there isnt any email address or other way to report this problem.
We just got the IGA Boss DLC, and it just crashes when we try to enter the boss room. Please fix this.
The game looks great on our M1 iPad Pro, however, some lag spikes occurs every now and then (using high, not epic, setting for the graphics). The game in general is good, but somehow we feel that there are some control response issues (am using PS4 controller) when playing (more testing need to be done) In addition, some menu navigating only works through the touch screen of our iPad with no controller support for it. Anyway, we only played for about 30 minutes through the game. We will see how it goes through the rest of our play through.
Its kind of fun but the character controls like crap and it would probably be way better if you could use a controller.
The control is very bad and the bosses are too strong even though we play at the normal level and we also linked the game to a controller from ps4 and the control was also very very bad. The game needs more work on the mobileit is true that the game features beautiful sounds with great music and very graphics beautifulthe only drawback is the bad controlthank you.
[Update]: This game no longer launches on iOS 16. Please update the game to fix this issue. We love this game, this is our third time buying it. The port so far seems pretty solid with the exception of full controller support. While the main gameplay does support the controller, there are a few things that should be improved. Please remove the on-screen controls while a physical controller is being used. Please let the controller work in the map and other menus. Do this and it is easily a 5-star game.
Terrible every time we try to start it up it crashes. And its still crashing we cant even start the app and this is a brand new we phone can someone tell us how to get this thing to work ?
Why didnt they just use the same controller layout used on the PS4? Someone over there obviously knows how to configure controller support. Please please get that person to rework the mobile game. For $10 the broken controller input is not acceptable!

We love this game but if youre going to take peoples money on this platform then you should fix the constant crashing and other bugs that are in this version. Its ridiculous and nearly unplayable half the time. Then when we finally get somewhere the save crashes and we cant get it to load again. Unbelievable. We legit want a refund but the developers dont answer fans. Pathetic. Dont waste your money here.
We rated this game so poorly because we were hoping to play with a controller. Having to use the touchscreen so much and having to figure out how to hide on screen controller stuff when using a controller is just appalling. This is an excellent game that could use some attention for usability with a controller. At home we just use PlayStation remote play since the experience is so much better. Stay away if you want to play with a controller.

Incompatible with iOS/iPadOS 16. Crashes at startup. Its a very good game and ran fine on iOS before. But it is missing several small but fun features that have been added to other versions of the game and appears to have been abandoned.
The game was working great, almost as good as on PC. After the update to iOS 16 the game no longer runs. It crashes right after launch on the first splash screen. We’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and on a different device, with the same issue. Please fix this, we paid for a game we cant play!
This app copies whatever you have in your clipboard into the app whenever you open it or switch back to it. So any phone numbers, text, etc youve copied recently gets sent to who knows where. The game itself is fine, but its probably selling your info to some marketing firm. Have fun with that.
