We love all the Donut Games Ive got downloaded 5 or 6 of them. They dont make them as good as these anymore, these Donut Games are actually fun to play. Now for most games youve gotta join some club or pay extra each month for a subscription of which cost you an arm and a leg, simply not worth it, we can definitely live without those kind of games.
All these years later and Bricks of Camelot is still an all-time favorite of ours.
We have a still working second GEN iPod touch that Ive played this on for years. Cant believe this is still up here our favorite brick breaker ever more exciting ideas than others.
We had BOC, BEFORE they were with Donut Games & iPods. We love this game & you will too. We feel like the Updates are catching up to its former glory. Good graphics make it fun, batting the ball SEEMS simple, but its still challenging. We love this game & you will too!!!! Give it a chance.
We absolutely love this game! It is very relaxing to us. We can be trying to go to sleep at night and we have always had a hard time getting to sleep, ever since we were a little girl. It has always seemed like when we lay down and close our eyes to sleep at night, we really try to relax and shut everything off so we can sleep…but it seems that our mind keeps working and that drives us crazy!! But now, we play a game like this one and it seems to help. We play for about 20-30 minutes and then we close our iPad and we go to sleep! At times, if we happen to be at someone's home visiting and spending the night, we'll either take a Melatonin or go to the bathroom and turn the volume all the way down and play for about 5-10 minutes then go to bed. This game and a few other games similar to this relaxes us and seems to turn our brain off so we can sleep!! We do play it for hours sometimes during the daytime and we LOVE THIS GAME!! This is a FREE game and we love it. If we could, we would rate it ten stars!! But there isn't enough stars to rate it that high, so we'll just have to give it 5 full stars!! (which is okay.) Great game !! Way back when we purchased our first iPod this game was among the the gaming apps we bought right away and now, three generations of Ipod upgrade's and an iPad, we still come back to this game. Fun and challenging, it never lose's its appeal ! Try it, you will not regret it.

(Pros and cons at the bottom. Reviewed on an iPhone 5) Just finished the challenges (3 stars for all 60) and have played some arcade mode, for a combined total of almost nine hours in the game. We must say, it is really fun. The mechanics to hit the ball in the direction you want are spot on, so skill does play a factor and you will be able to pull off some awesome combos after playing for a while. Luck only plays a part when it comes to which power ups you get from the special power up blocks, but this makes each time you play levels with these blocks unique, so that's a good thing. The graphics are intentionally old school, really making it feel like a game you could find at an arcade and throw countless quarters into. There's some music but it seems to not really play during levels… We never really minded, though. The sound effects are standard, not spectacular. Has GameCenter integration, with achievements for doing the challenges, arcade mode, and more. Leaderboards for challenge mode and swing it mode. Not optimized for iPhone 5 :c Pros: +Fun, solid brick-breaking mechanics makes for excellent gameplay +Achievements and leaderboards +Pleasant, nostalgic graphics +Multiple modes, lots to do Cons: -Not optimized for iPhone 5 -No GameCenter leaderboards for arcade stages (although the challenge mode is more fun anyway) This is a great brick-breaking game, so if you feel like playing one, this is definitely worth your time.
This is almost as good as the original Bricks of Atlantis and Bricks of Egypt games for PC and Mac computers. It's more difficult to use touch than mouse for this game, but we suppose it is just a matter of getting used to the play. Loads of fun.

Great game but we miss the older versions.
The graphics are not so sharp and a bit dated and the game does not quite fill the entire screen on our iPad 3, but no matter. The game play is very fun and what really matters here. The controls are simple and very responsive. There is a ton of content and this has the Donut Games magic! If you are looking for an enjoyable brick breaker, no need to look elsewhere.

What a wonderful surprise with the update!! This game has remained on our itouch & now ipad as well ( even when we were cleaning out apps or lame games, we just couldn't let this one go ). We beat the levels several years ago, but would frequently replay anyway just to have a quick & fun game. Thanks so much for the challenge section.

This bricks game is excellent on a tablet–not so much on the phone because the small screen size.
Our kids loved a game similar to this when they were small. Now that they r teens, this game is one of few that keep arguments down during long road trips :).

Nothing tells you what is good to catch and what is not. We are sick of losing because of this. If not for that it would be 5 stars.

This is one of our favorite donut games ever. And we have about 15 of their apps. Overall, great game and you need to get it.
UPDATE: got this back in March, finished all levels in a few days. 7 months later no new levels. How lame. Other breakout games that keep up, pass. /delete This game is wonderful! The graphics are really nice and we love the castle themes. The power ups are awesome!! We do however need more levels. If you love breakout games you will love this one.
Donut games has outdone itself. One of the best apps on our iPod touch.
Does as advertised. We can't complain.
We have bought this type game on every platform, console we have ever owned and this version is by far most enjoyable our only input (suggestion) is; imagine if they added an RPG story to it ala puzzle quest, this would become that much MORE kick @ss. We would definately buy it all over again.
Game rocks. Love the voice overs. Power ups. Game play. This is soooo much cooler than any other break a brick game out there. But tHEY SO NEED MORE L E V E L S to be worth the price.
