We got this game and our favorite part was probably when they met bare the Bear! She-He is sooooooooo cute. The only thing we would change is add more of seeing bare in levels and how do you get costumes?
We honestly love the Callys Caves series its so fun, addictive, and we can never put our phone down!!! Its been a while since you made another one, do you think youll make another one?? Also we were wondering if we can be more characters, we love the Cally costumes but, like being one of the characters like Rupert, or robin, that would be awesome! Im really hoping to see another Callys cave game!! Thanks!!!
Im looking for others like it on the App Store right now. Tons and tons of content, good music, good gameplay. We wish the dlc levels werent so expensive, but we understand the price because of how much obvious work went into the game. Im a completionist, and this game gives us plenty to do lol. Awesome, you should try it.
We played Callys Cave 3 witch was our first one we played 3 years ago. Then we decided to play the other ones. We were just browsing and we saw Callys Cave 4, overall we did not even notice that this game was released and we saw the update history it was released last year. So Im hoping they continue making more of Callys Cave. And one last thing the 4th one is so smooth and it seems the graphics got better since we played the other ones with more detail especially for Cally. So please developers keep making more of this amazing series.

We love this game Previous post: The controls are almost impossible to reach, but the worst part is all of the npcs leave after images of themselves when they move and so does Cally. Enough so that after 20 seconds or so you cant see what is moving where.
Best mobile game we have played period.
All of the Callys Cave games are a lot of fun, and certainly scratch an itch for completists who like to level things up and collect every piece. Sadly, it seems some of the collectibles are missing, and the game ends well before youve leveled up the weapons completely. We finally deleted the game when we realized that by the time we finished upgrading the weapons Id be so bored from grinding we wouldnt want to play anymore.
Its a good game but there are definitely missing collectibles.. We’ve played through the game and + version and either the radar for collectibles isnt working or the pieces just arent there..
We wish the movement was a virtual analog stick instead of hard controls. Like if slide our finger off the right control, she stops moving which IMO is not a good UX.
Great music. Its apparent the game design was given thought and love but it gets a bit repetitive.
So Im a bit late to this 4th edition of the series, luckily it was still available for download, but: there seems to be an issue with all the moving enemies, landscapes, etc. We dont know if its iPhone XRs version that has an issue or the game needs updating or what; please fix/update so we may enjoy this 4th game pleeeeaaaase ^^ thank you!
They say that the disruptive ads will stop appearing after you make an in-app purchase, but they have continued to appear… Pretty frustrating.
We like callys cave, but the game is broken on newer phones. It says theres iPhone XR support, but the graphics are completely broken for us. Please fix.

When we got to the infinity golem, the app just crashes and it won’t let us fight it. Please fix it to a slightly lower resolution or something.
THIS GAME IS SOOOOO GOOD! EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY IT BECAUSE ITS SO GREAT! ITS JUST AS GOOD AS METROID AND ITS ON MOBILE!
Playing through the game is really fun but the bosses are way too easy. They need more health. We can shred game+ bosses in 2 seconds with a level 17 scrap cannon. It does so much damage we cant even level it up. Everything dies too quickly.
The adjustment is much appreciated! Theyre not perfect, but theyre better.
We’re new to the Cally series, but we’re digging it. It’s a solid platformer with enough depth to keep it interesting. A couple things would improve it: 1. The controls are a bit rigid. A bit of nuancesome subtle sense of inertia and natural weight would go a long way. We also think the app-icon art could be made more appealing and consistent across-the-board. The in-game art is great, but there’s a disconnect visually between the game and the art you see in the app store. We really like a good platform game, and we can tell you we have likely hesitated to download a Cally game for years because the artwork looked a bit amateurish. We recommend getting a great illustrator that captures the spirit of the game, and have them update all 4 game icons. PS: we can recommend some artists. Great game overall.
We really love this game. Its a neat RPG,it’s got good graphics and a pretty fine soundtrack,although it doesn’t suit the battles or a game like this,it’s not an issue. Overall,the game is good and if you’re considering whether you should get this or not,I recommend that you get this game. Our only problem with the game is a bug that makes the game crash when we enter the zone 8 infinity golem boss level. When the level starts,the game lags a lot and when the infinity golem rises,the game crashes. We tried this with other boss levels and regular levels,and everything was just fine,there was no lag and the game didn’t crash. But when we enter the infinity golem boss level,the game crashes. We are playing the game on a first generation iPad mini and we hope that the devs see this message and fix the issue. We really love this game and we wanna keep playing the game,but the crash prevents us from playing it,so we hope this issue gets fixed as soon as possible.
We love this series, and this game. It crashes when we get the amulet though. Is there a way to fix that?
Good, fun game. Played the previous iterations and loved em. Great shootem up platformer but it keeps lagging. When ever we try to move, we have to hold the arrow buttons for a couple of seconds before we actually move. Also from time to time, the game freezes for a second before continuing (not loading screens, but during gameplay in an area). Maybe theres a setting Im overlooking to correct this, but as of now its not a smooth game at all for us. Otherwise this would be a five star.
The walk through claims there is a level 9 where you get a scrap gun, but we can’t figure out how to access it. For the blaster, the walk through claims the final form is in level 5_16+ but there is no such thing. In fact we’ve combed the entire world and can’t find the final form of the blaster anywhere.
It feels like very little effort was put in to it very rushed. Is it us or did you disregard the ending of the previous game? And jump is weird and has a common delay on second jump.
In the iPod, we almost beat the game but for some reason it crashes. We have the amulet after we finished beating the infinity golem, and all the sudden it crashed. We almost beat the game and it crashes. We sick and tire of it. Please fix it. We do not understand why people give you four or five stars that game deserve one for crashes everytime it. We were very surprised when we downloaded this and gave it a run. Great little game lots to do between the story, collections and leveling up the guns. It has been updated for iPhone X and it is great. Definitely one of the best platform games we have played on a mobile device!
Every iteration of this game improves on its predecessor and this one is no exception! The backgrounds are beautifully done with the signature pixel graphics for characters and the awesome weapons. The leveling up of weapons really is a fun side task. We just wish there were more walk throughs out there, because we got stuck on a level. But fantastic game, and best of the series.
First, bugs. When we remove a mod, it it disappears. Also since like 90% of the enemies are immune to hold and freeze, those mods are practically useless. Lastly, there is a bug where the scrap guns final form keeps re-spawning after we pick it up. There also has to be a bug with some of the rare items because we’ve searched every room on every map yet Im still missing a tawaret piece, haunted bridge page and whispering statue page. Nonetheless it is a great game and we especially like the samus Cally costume.
Overall, a really good game, but there are a few things that we want to bring up. First of all, some of the collectibles seem to be missing entirely. The Ankh, Bridge, and Statue bonuses cannot be completed because the last piece for all of them isnt anywhere in the game. Secondly, all of the bosses are way too easy. They have too little health and their attack cycles are too predictable. Perhaps you should make some attacks do multiple hearts of damage or give the bosses more attack varieties. Lastly, you should make a shortcut door appear for each survival part once you complete the previous part. It is very tedious having to sit through all 150 waves of enemies.
Game is a blast and OST is amazing,also thank you for keeping 32-bit iOS devices supported!!!(i5)
We’ve been playing this game now for 2 days and am very impressed by it! Every time we play, we get serious Mega Man 2 vibes… Which is good. The controls are spot on which makes gameplay on an iPad Pro fun. The game is a fun platform shooter with lots of guns… LOTS of guns and upgrades. The retro style graphics take us back to games that we really enjoyed from our childhood. And of course theres the great soundtrack… Please do yourself a favor and try this game. Ps: we bought the iap to support this great iOS game.
Long story short: this game is fun to play. Lots of weapons, level ups, secrets, and awesome music.
We wish we could experience this game(been looking forward to it for months!). Unfortunately, it crashes every time we open it at the Title Screen.
