This felt like a perfect experience to us. Expertly crafted difficulty, we loved all the skins and the planets and the world design and just wow. We look forward to future titles.
This is a calming game we play to pass the time ever since they fixed the crashing bug.
We remember playing this game 2 years ago and after we completed it, we would go back and replay it. We love revisiting this game and replaying it , the graphics are amazing. The visuals are pretty , and we love the music / sounds. Im so glad the IOS 15 bug was fixed because we were trying to replay the game a while ago but it would always crash before anything loaded in. Im so glad we found this game again and we hope more things get added in the future. Updates or not , we are very happy and content with being able to replay the game and relive some nostalgia. :D.
Ok we’ve completed this game around 6 times now (no joke) its just really nice, downloading all the other things the studio made, imma keep an eye out for new releases.
"YES FINALLY we WON- DAMIT" -a quote said by us one to many times, not just because we’re not very good at the game but because adds will pop in in the middle of playing! We get that it is a free app and you need the adds to get money, but at least have them at appropriate times, like when you die or when your picking the next level. But other than the adds, we love the game! The music and animation is so cute and calming! We love how the different levels are different and the new little animal alien thingys that you meet in different levels! They have such cute designs!

Its a really fun game! We just wish there werent so many ads. Sometimes an ad will play while your in the middle of a level, and after the ad it just puts you back at the beginning. Also personally we think its an albino bat, but thats just me.
This game is super charming and we love the controls. You guys should port this to Switch.
This game is very fun to play.
We absolutely love this game, but some of the levels makes us want to smash both our head and iPad on the wall. Plus we think we lost 12 brain cells in the process of watching 5 ads, then dying the second we get back to the game, then having to watch 5 MORE STUPID ADS FIX IT PLEASE BEFORE we EXPLODE. Great game otherwise.
The game is pretty hard but we didnt find a single death frustrating. Three out of the four bosses are good. Nothing is impossible in this game. The game is designed to be brutal though, but we like the game because of the challenge. Patience is key to beating this game.
This game is honestly amazing and we get the ads are a bit much but just turn off your Wi-Fi thats what we did and it worked. The music and graphics are really nice and the story is adorable. So Id say its worth the ads and annoying deaths but thats just us. Hope this helps!
Absolutely stellar platformer. Only thing its missing is controller support. We realize its an older game but Id love an update.
Its an amazing game and we would recommend it however the adds are a problem. Every time we would do anything it would play a add. We know thats the only way you can make money but its way to much. They could just make you watch 2 adds to get a hint or skip a level.
This game was underrated and definitely needs to blow up but we wish you added the moon map back because the boss in that was really good.
Catbird is a great game that balances rage and fun perfectly. It gets hard at times but when you complete the level you feel so accomplished. Our only complaint is that sometimes in the middle of the game, an ad will pop up but it doesnt pause the game so when that happens it will usually get us killed when Im like halfway through.
This game is cute. We like the style. We like the levels. Its surprisingly hard, but manageable if you keep trying. We like the secret characters, the gimmicks, etc. The game itself is great, but the ads havemany timesinterrupted us in the middle of gameplay. Kind of a problem when Im trying to get the Master of [World] achievementwhich requires 5 deaths or lessand every single time an ad finishes rolling we have a new death on our counter. We dont know if thats because we somehow am always hovering over a pit when the ad starts or because the game just counts an ad as a death, but its incredibly frustrating to have no control over many of our deaths. Plus, the time trial COUNTS ADS TOWARDS YOUR TIME. Imagine if a speed runner had to rely on ad length RNG just because they couldnt afford to remove ads. Thats ridiculous.
Good game. But in our opinion, WAYYYYY to many adds.
We love hard games, they give us challenges and test our skills, and we absolutely love it. We like games that take time too beat, but we feel like catbird went overboard with that stuff. We absolutely love the design, the cute characters, and the story, we just feel like it takes too much effort and practice too beat for such a small app. Although, this app is very friendly and the ads are more minimized, which is great! Just wish we didnt have too put in so much effort. Thanks!
There is no difficulty curve to this game, we enjoyed the aesthetics of this game a ton and we really want to play it, but the difficulty spike between lvl 1 and 2 is astronomical. The sheer number of mechanics went from 4 (jump, teleport, movement and screen scrolling) to like 10! (Invisible passageways, gliding, spinning spike balls, stationary spikes, crowns) and the challenge tripled easily!
We havent played catbird in a few months because we were busy. Just today we came back to it, only to notice that every time we started moving and using the controls an ad literally popped up. No, we are not exaggerating. Ads, nonstop, and its basically unplayable because it just makes us die afterwards. Although the games graphics are VERY good, and it was surprising to us how well this game is. 2/5 stars because of the unplayable ad problem. Please fix this.
This game would have gotten a 5 star review if it didn’t have ads. When we play most levels we get an ad, then when we return to the game we can’t move. The ads always get in the way just when im having fun. We also get ads very frequently throughout the game, and some last a while before we can skip it. Please get rid of the ads. This game is to hard. It took us at least 50 or more attempts to get past a single level.
We start a level and start moving then a Ad pop up we die to much a Ad we know its a free game but at least add micro transactions like Minecraft bedrocks edition.
Super fun and amazing graphics! Very challenging too! But ads pop up in the middle of the game, even when youre jumping over fireballs or fighting a boss. Then the ad ends and turns out you died so 5/5 stars if they could fix the ad problem! Put ads after you die not in the middle of your game.
We got stuck on the level push bird because the jump at the end is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so hard because we always dont get the the other slide/side (EDIT:I figured out how to do the level now)
We fully completed this game (including zipsa), and it is AMAZING. We love this game so much, but, if you dont like ridiculously difficult games, this probably isnt for you. It isnt unfair at all, though, just stupidly hard. And we love it for that reason.

This game is fun and challenging, a game we had never seen anything like before (Daddish and Shadow Frog, to name a few, are pretty similar). Im starting to wish for more levels (only after about a year of playing!), as we only have about 3 more achievements to complete! This is a must-get, and we recommend this to anyone and everyone! Furthermore, its so friggin cute! This game really is from heaven if you want a fun, challenging platformer game to keep you out of boredom! Thanks to all the people who put such hard work into it!
This game is beautiful and adorable, it it just great we love the pixel art in this game and everything is just so cute its like the needle in the haystack this is the game to play if your on mobile, theres just so much money grabber low quality games out there but we know this one was made with love and care and its an actual hard game unlike literally every free careless mobile app that was just tryna make money it looks like it belongs on apple arcade its just so great and beautiful and the best part is that its FREE?! We’ve never seen such a great game for free keep making games like this, we truly appreciate this app.

We downloaded it out of boredom after we misspelled an app we were looking for, but now after have finishing it, it was 100% worth it. This game took us about two hours to finish with all the collectible crowns and it was a really fun game. The graphics look nice, the music is really good, and you got a fall in love with the Cat Bird. The one thing we wish they would improve on is the controls. We wish they would do it like other games where the screen is split right down the middle and anywhere you tap on the right you would jump and once you tap on the left side that becomes the new center point of moving left to right. Multiple deaths of ours were caused by pressing right when we meant to press left or tapping on the screen but not tapping on the jump button. If anything, make it a secondary control option. That being said though, we 100% recommend downloading this game. Even when you die you can easily get back to where you were and its such a fun game everyone should try it. 5/5 would recommend to everyone.
So you die a lot. Yeah ok. But when you die, which you will be doing a lot of in a level named crate race theres a about a 1 in 3 chance you will get and ad. Meanwhile we have to watch the ad, aka time waster and die 3 times again. Therefore in frustration we feel like the level is a money farm, either making ppl constantly watch ads or people paying to remove them. P.s. We saw cat bird able to fly up and we cant do that. Clickbait?

This game has the equivalent as 10 year old us playing Minecraft for the first time. Its absolutely amazing, the animations, the music, everything. Its such a cute and creative game, definitely recommend to everyone. One little bug though is that every time you die, the game continuously gets more and more laggy until you are forced to watch an ad. After that, it goes back to normal, but still. Amazing game other than that!
We love this game and we’ve had it on our phone for about two years now and we just play it whenever Im bored, it never gets old. We absolutely love the old school video game graphics and catbird is just such a cute concept. We hope the creators plan on adding more worlds to complete!!!

This game is great! We love the style of the game and, yes the adds are annoying we dont feel they are that much though. It can be hard at times but our stubborn butt has time on our hands. Also what we didnt see on many reviews was the cleverness with the name if you fuse cat and bird together you get Bat. Or im just really dumb? _
When we first downloaded this game it was amazing but as of late it has not been able to open up and it makes us sad. We genuinely enjoyed this game so much when we first downloaded it back in late 2019. But as of right now it wont open and its made us really sad :( we hope this gets fixed soon.
Listen. We played this game on launch. We played it again when the new level, Zipsa, came out. We thought it was excellent and we still do! However, we were itching to play it again after upgrading from the iPhone 8 to the iPhone 12, and it crashes on startup now. Im so sad because we love this game and we really want to play it again, but our old phone is dead, so theres no way we can anymore :(
Honestly, we’ve probably played through this game like 50 times! Ill complete it, delete it, and in a few months itll be back on our IPad! It has such cute graphics and an amazing storyline! Plus its impossible to NOT love Catbird! He\She is soooooooo cute! Plus the overall game is simple, so you wont stress over it. It has easy controls and we recommend it for all ages!

Played this game for years now and the amount of content is amazing! The story is simple, sprites are cute, and music is fantastic!!! This turkey goes to show a game has no need to be complex or gimmicky to be memorable. Love the devs and the love that went into this challenging little platformer!
This will always be one of our favorite mobile exclusive games, amazing soundtrack, beautiful art, and fun gameplay. Clearly a project that had quite a bit of heart. However, we REALLY wish it had keyboard or controller support as it truly would be much better for ipad users due to the larger screen and it makes it uncomfortable to hold it. However, iphone users dont have too much of a problem here.
If you are here and you are curious, definitely just play it. Let us push you towards that descision, and say that you will not regret it.
We beat this game today, after dying 500 something times and, we’ve got to say, despite having an issue with the ads, not that the ads were wrong, but that it would crash after an ad sometimes, this game is probably the most wholesome game we have ever played! Id give this 100 stars if we could!
