We only wish they would add more worlds and levels so we can keep playing. Also for those complaining about ads, 1.99 isnt asking a lot to get rid of them. If you like a game and have the means to support the creator, do so!! Its the only way to support the creation of more games that you like! Anyways im off our soapbox now. This game is great it reminds us dadish, but just put adds after a level, not randomly while youre in the middle of a level, but amazing game.
This is just like nameless cat we were looking for some games this one day on the Apple Store and we see nameless cat so we downloaded it and it was just like your game it really good keep it up! And we cant seem to find nameless cat anymore though.
This game would be SO much better if we were able to play with a controller but overall, Great game.
This game is amazing, but theres one thing that makes us want to quit. We wish the developer made more levels for more people to play but the controls are nice, the levels looks cool and we like how there little trophies or crowns that you can find and collect but, the thing we really want is the developer to make more levels. Everyone should try this game its awesome.
Hi, we love this game so far. Very cute visual and audio design, easy to understand, and easy on the eyes we have a small phone screen and eye strain issues so the design of the game is helpful! Would be nice if the RA button somehow said it was for removing adds before showing the purchase screen. We clicked it because we didnt know what it was and was exploring. But no big deal. Also, Ive had a sound issue, but it may just be our phone. We have bluetooth headphones and when we have a game on our phone open when one of our alarms from the Clock app go off, the sound from the game stops, but it doesnt come back. Ive swiped and closed the app. Ive turned the apps sound effects and music settings on and off. Ive restarted our phone. We disconnected our headphones and tried with just our phones audio. Ive checked that our phone is not muted. Nothing works; there is still no sound from the game. This has happened twice now: with Identity V a month ago and now with Cat Bird. Please help with this issue, music is really important in a game :(.
(Spoilers ahead) To start, this game is severely underrated. The pixel game style looks really good, the music is catchy, the levels are fun and challenging, and while there currently isnt a thick plot, there are a few cute cutscenes. The boss fights we think are also really good, with each boss having a different design and fighting style. The game is mainly centered around a catbird journeying across planets, fighting creatures, solving puzzles, and trying to get home. There are lots of achievements to collect, so you wont get bored quickly. When we first played Catbird, we can only describe the feeling as being captivated, the levels are difficult but also engaging and fun, so rage quitting is very rare and you have almost infinite retrys so you dont have to worry much about losing a lot of progress if you die. This game really needs to be more popular, so do yourself a favor and play this; the controls are great, the game itself is made well, and it will keep you entertained for hours. We would love to see more worlds/skins sometime in the future! Suggestion/complaint: on some levels when you are searching for the crown, you have to go inside the wall and through a tunnel to get it, but it is very hard to see where the tunnel is, so could you make it so that it has a somewhat more obvious marker? Thx :3.

Its the best thing Ive ever played! Ive played this since we were 9 and we still love it.
Wonderful art, great core mechanics, cute characters, creative theme, all for free + ads. One of the best platformers available on mobile. Even though we finished we definitely plan on removing ads to support the developer! We would genuinely love to see more worlds added to this game! One issue we ran into that didnt bother us too much. The skin selection seems to be bugged. After we unlock the different colors, if we go into the selection screen it wont let us swipe left or right to select them. If you exit the color selection screen out to the world selection, world selection will be buggy in the same way too and it can only be fixed by restarting the app. This doesnt impact gameplay at all but it is a small thing.

This felt like a perfect experience to us. Expertly crafted difficulty, we loved all the skins and the planets and the world design and just wow. We look forward to future titles.

We absolutely love this game, but some of the levels makes us want to smash both our head and iPad on the wall. Plus we think we lost 12 brain cells in the process of watching 5 ads, then dying the second we get back to the game, then having to watch 5 MORE STUPID ADS FIX IT PLEASE BEFORE we EXPLODE. Great game otherwise.
This game is honestly amazing and we get the ads are a bit much but just turn off your Wi-Fi thats what we did and it worked. The music and graphics are really nice and the story is adorable. So Id say its worth the ads and annoying deaths but thats just us. Hope this helps.
The game is pretty hard but we didnt find a single death frustrating. Three out of the four bosses are good. Nothing is impossible in this game. The game is designed to be brutal though, but we like the game because of the challenge. Patience is key to beating this game.
We remember playing this game 2 years ago and after we completed it, we would go back and replay it. We love revisiting this game and replaying it , the graphics are amazing. The visuals are pretty , and we love the music / sounds. Im so glad the IOS 15 bug was fixed because we were trying to replay the game a while ago but it would always crash before anything loaded in. Im so glad we found this game again and we hope more things get added in the future. Updates or not , we are very happy and content with being able to replay the game and relive some nostalgia. :D.
Its a really fun game! We just wish there werent so many ads. Sometimes an ad will play while your in the middle of a level, and after the ad it just puts you back at the beginning. Also personally we think its an albino bat, but thats just us.
Ok ive completed this game around 6 times now (no joke) its just really nice, downloading all the other things the studio made, imma keep an eye out for new releases.
This is a calming game we play to pass the time ever since they fixed the crashing bug.
"YES FINALLY we WON- DAMIT" -a quote said by us one to many times, not just because we're not very good at the game but because adds will pop in in the middle of playing! We get that it is a free app and you need the adds to get money, but at least have them at appropriate times, like when you die or when your picking the next level. But other than the adds, we love the game! The music and animation is so cute and calming! We love how the different levels are different and the new little animal alien thingys that you meet in different levels! They have such cute designs.
The game is great, although we would like to point out some issues. Firstly, the controls arent very smooth. This caused us many deaths based on our thumb going a bit out of the radius for going right or left or for jumping. We just want them to be a little more dynamic in terms of fluidity. Additionally, we completed World 1, but we didnt get the achievement through Game Center. We are kind of a completionist, so it irritates us. Though Im sure this is a minor bug. Fortunately, this game isnt too hard for us, but those inexperienced with platformers will have a tougher time. We will suggest adding difficulty levels like easy, medium, or hard, if its possible. Now for the positives. The colors all work in unity, and the animation is very smooth. We love the work that was put into this game! We also like how creative the levels are. Most of the mechanics are ones Ive seen before, but the devs put their own spin on them, and they arent boring in the slightest. Not to mention, the music and sound effects top everything off and add even more immersive elements rather than getting annoying after a while. Finally, the sound effects compliment the game nicely and the cat protagonist is genuinely so adorable! Overall, this game is worth checking out if the issues mentioned dont bug you too much and youve already played a few platformers before. Also if you want a cozy game that progresses nicely. (we edited our review so that it flowed better and sounded more coherent).
This is one of our favorite comfort games, but Im so sad we cant play it with our backbone :(.
We like this game but pls remove the adds because any time they come on we die on this game.
Cat bird is a very fun game and is very challenging but not too hard the only thing we would recommend is when you get a crown and die you can still have the crown,its really annoying to have to go through all the struggle to get it back.
Im giving it four stars and the reason it loses a star is because we keep getting advertisements mid jump, we think it should at least be after the level is completed or when the character dies, other than that its a really cute game.
So it was epic but just um the ads it just kills us when Im doing parkour.
We dont use touch controls much.
The ads are abrupt and ruin ur progress leading u to reset, so we think u just need to put the ads in a more convenient place.
We want you to know that theres this one level that keeps on glitching im going up to get out of the chainsaw way and then suddenly it disappears and then appears right next to us and then we die. Can you please fix that.
We just wished it didnt have a lot of ads for example we opened a level and started to play and 3 seconds later we got a ad.
We love these types of games but we wish there was a support for controllers in this one.
Catbird is a great game that balances rage and fun perfectly. It gets hard at times but when you complete the level you feel so accomplished. Our only complaint is that sometimes in the middle of the game, an ad will pop up but it doesnt pause the game so when that happens it will usually get us killed when Im like halfway through.
Absolutely stellar platformer. Only thing its missing is controller support. We realize its an older game but Id love an update.
This game was underrated and definitely needs to blow up but we wish you added the moon map back because the boss in that was really good.
Its an amazing game and we would recommend it however the adds are a problem. Every time we would do anything it would play a add. We know thats the only way you can make money but its way to much. They could just make you watch 2 adds to get a hint or skip a level.

This game is cute. We like the style. We like the levels. Its surprisingly hard, but manageable if you keep trying. We like the secret characters, the gimmicks, etc. The game itself is great, but the ads havemany timesinterrupted us in the middle of gameplay. Kind of a problem when Im trying to get the Master of [World] achievementwhich requires 5 deaths or lessand every single time an ad finishes rolling we have a new death on our counter. We dont know if thats because we somehow am always hovering over a pit when the ad starts or because the game just counts an ad as a death, but its incredibly frustrating to have no control over many of our deaths. Plus, the time trial COUNTS ADS TOWARDS YOUR TIME. Imagine if a speed runner had to rely on ad length RNG just because they couldnt afford to remove ads. Thats ridiculous.
Love the game! We cant figure out the push level though. Please make that easier. Other than that love.
This game was good but you cant really play it because there is WAY too many ads. If you die about three times theres an ad. We were half way through a hard level (this happened multiple times) and an ad played while we were midair. Other than that this game is pretty good but we still believe there should be less ads.
Has potential to be a great platform. The ads pop up with no notice during the level. You might be mid jump and an ad starts.
Look dont get us wrong we LOVE THE GAME one problem. ADS – too much of them! Also theres levels where you go in u die a lot ( its a rly hard level) and u have to watch a ad. Then u die while watching the ad cuz the spikes move and crush u. ( we literally hear the dieing noises) then u have to watch ads cuz u die while watching the ads. This is a literal trick. Look if u did not mean to we forgive u but PLSSS fix this it gets u SO angry! Otherwise love the game and is perfect for bird and cat lovers Also u lose time during the time trials cuz of ads look we know u need to make money but. Seriously.
Played up to world 4. This game takes mechanics that you expect to see in a lot of different platforming games, and does nothing interesting with them. This game does not compete in uniqueness with games made in the 2000s like IWBTG. That said, it isnt unplayable either. Theres a lack of leniency to the mechanics, but otherwise there is no glitches or bugs. So its just unremarkable.
We love hard games, they give us challenges and test our skills, and we absolutely love it. We like games that take time too beat, but we feel like catbird went overboard with that stuff. We absolutely love the design, the cute characters, and the story, we just feel like it takes too much effort and practice too beat for such a small app. Although, this app is very friendly and the ads are more minimized, which is great! Just wish we didnt have too put in so much effort. Thanks.
This is a really fun and cute game and all but theres so many ads and Im used to it Yes, but theres ads during the round so when Im about to finish the round theres an ad and it makes it to where we lose the round and its almost impossible to win because of that and Im used to ads they dont bother us but not while Im about to finish, this game wouldve been so much better if they werent ads in the middle of the game.
We understand that they are needed to keep the game up, but the time trial experience could be without them. We were going for a 100% of the game, but the ads interrupting our ability to complete the time trials is causing us to give up and delete the app.
