This game is absolutely perfect! No ifs ands or buts. Whatever improvement they said they were gonna do, they did it. Theres literally 0 ads, unless you want to watch one to get extra coins. But instead of watching ads, you can go to the previous restaurants and do more levels to get coins. This game is literally the best! We were looking for diner dash, we think we found it but the reviews were bad, downloaded this and Ive been playing for hours ad free. You want a restaurant game, this is what youre looking for! Perfect!! We love it. A FREE game with no ads at all and you dont need to purchase anything in order to play. No subscription or anything. You have the choice to pay for extra gems, but again, you could just go to previous restaurants youve done and get more gems by completing achievements. If you need to get an upgrade and dont have enough coins, theyll let you use the little bit of coins you have and some of the gems. You just gotta download it for yourself to try. The most free game with 0 ads. No popup ads, no ads on the bottom of the screen. We pray they dont change this because this game is perfect as is and has so many restaurants you need to save.

Beautiful graphics. No glitches. Fun little competitions. Storyline is fleshed out. But when you are rewarded for anything its usually very VERY small. Often its a few mins if unlimited hearts which isnt a reward at all if you are good at these sort games. Then, you need a ton of coins for upgrades but coins are almost never a reward. Instead its like 2 gems or 2/30 points toward a booster. If you are good at the games you only get one pass to collect coins which starts to try and rice you to use money so you can upgrade on time.
This game a lot better than the prior games like this Ive played. The screen is bigger and food cooking is awesome!! Its a must try playing game.
We dont leave many reviews. But, this game deserves one. The BEST thing about this game, ads are offered as an incentive. Unlike most games that force pop up ads, this is one of the very few games we have found that offer double rewards, gems, boosts, and coins for watching ads. Its optional for the player. Which is MUCH more preferred. Not only that, the levels are challenging but also beatable. Other cooking games like this usually get to a point where you have to buy more coins, or play older levels for hours until you have enough coins/gems to get through the levels. Very good job on this game. The extra aspect of personalizing your restaurant makes it even better. We definitely recommend!!! Great game.
We really enjoy the game. The only thing we hate is waiting for the new levels to be updated. We go through them quickly. The levels can be hard but beatable. Graphics are great and so is the story line.
Ive tried our fair share of similar games, this one tops the list. Same gameplay we love, no forced ads (but we dont mind watching ads to double our coins!) great story line. A+ on our list.

Its an awesome game but everything you do it gives you an add and its all so slow to load but even though it does all of those things we would still recommend Chef and Friends provides a nice learning path and it has great characters if Im bored this will be one of the first games we go to.HAVE A GREAT DAY (and definitely buy this game).

When we started playing this game, we couldnt stop! We love the graphics and it is so fun! But when you get to the sushi place it starts getting too hard. You need specific food to make the game easy. So when you dont have enough coins, you can use gems to get stuff. But we have too watch one add each just to get 2 GEMS?! We love this game but please make it to where its easier to get gems! Great game! Keep it up.
Its a very good game, but the timed levels are rigged. We just DELETED this game off our phone. We were gonna try and keep it, but it timed us out and we ran out of ads and chances.
We love this game! Its challenging but possible to pass levels. We love the storyline too. We called this game set apart because unlike other cooking games, early on, its impossible to pass levels. Thank you for keeping it fun and possible.
Almost every ad required to watch for a reward ranges anywhere between 1 minute and 2 minutes. That is an absolutely outrageous ad time… Our reccomendation is either lower the ad time or add 2 smaller ads in that equal to at least less than a minute and 30 seconds. 70 seconds for a couple coins is RIDICULOUS.
The game is addictive we love it but it keeps removing our stuff that we got and starts us over and it said it would take 4 hours to update! We can not waittttt but we will find that out, we just would like the bug to be fixed other wise dont walk but run to download this app.

Oh, we love this game! It is such an awesome game to play and pretty addictive. We do/did spend money on this game because it was just that awesome. However, we just noticed that the ability to earn gems from completing sub-levels isnt there anymore. We sort of feel duped. We would spend money to get even more gems in addition to the ones that we used to earn from competing sublevels. But now that that was taken away, we definitely wont be spending money on getting gems anymore. We have to admit we are pretty disappointed, but Ill see how we feel. Im going to try to still play this game, although our heart isnt as in it as it used to be. Why would you take away some thing that made all of your players happy.
Its adorable; the story and characters are so well made and the design is really nice! We love all their personalities and quirks, and we also like that u get to design the restaurants just the way you like! Even if you picked a layout; the developers made it available to go back and pick a different one! Love this game 10/10 if you like cooking games and cute stories this is a great choice.
We just want to say we love this game and the graphics n the characters n the story line. We hope we make more games like this.
TLDR: the best game play ever (each restaurant goes from easy to difficult, so you are challenged but also get breaks); there is NO money grab that we have seen so far (Im on restaurant #5); the in-game currency spend/earn is the most fair we have ever seen, and it is plentiful; ads are only for rewards, and so you can watch a ton (over 50/day), or none, but your game progresses; and lastly the decorating aspects actually makes sense. FULL REVIEW: we downloaded this game a week ago (3/24/24), and have completed 5 restaurants. This it has become one of our favorite games EVER (and Ive downloaded lots and lots of games), and we play it daily for an hour or so. The gameplay is smooth, and we never experience glitches. The storyline is cute (Im not a story person and usually skip the chat), but the best part about it is that you make over different restaurants, and each restaurant has multiple levels that start out easy but become challenging. This allows you a break from the more intense/fast paced action at the end of the restaurant; you get the satisfaction of completing the challenge, but then you get the satisfaction of starting over with new/easy, which helps avoid frustration burnout. As far as spending real money to progress, and or having to deal with a bunch of ads we have not experienced either of those annoyances in this game. We have, and will gladly spend money on a game we enjoy, as long as it is not required to progress. So far we have not noticed that in this game. Cost of fully upgrading a restaurant is ~ 20k coins, but you earn so much in the game play, that it more than covers it, so you have plenty to upgrade at the early levels of the next restaurant (which in turn brings more $). Ex: we started the tropical fruit stand with 60k coins, upgrading dropped us down to 42k, but was back over 75k by the time we finished it and still have bonus levels for coins if we need them. Thats another thing; each level in each restaurant has three stars, which equate to mini levels that dont have to be done to progres the renovation story, but earn you lots of $. And you can go back and visit previous restaurants to earn more coins whenever you want/need to. Ada are only for rewards, or if you need more time/customers (which you can also use gems for if you dont want to watch an ad). So you can watch as many as you want for good rewards, or you can never watch a single one. We truly love this game and hope they continue to keep this model. If they do, we will gladly spend real money for random things, because we believe in rewarding good development. We hope that this game play continues through all the restaurant stories, but if it doesnt, we will come back and update our review accordingly.
We enjoy playing this game in our spare time. Decorating the Cafe is fantastic. The only The issue is some of the ads are too long. If they shortened them, it would make this game more fun.
But in the recent updates they hiked up the number of coins needed for kitchen upgrades and increased the number of hats you need for anything. When we say they hiked this stuff up, we mean to a stupidly ridiculous degree. It isnt nearly as fun as it used to be. Thinking of deleting it.

We usually play an app for awhile before we write a review because it always starts out great and progressively gets worst. However, we really love this cooking app. Ive been playing these for years and usually as it progresses, the levels become impossible to win without spending money. Yiu give us playable and challenging levels that we can win without spending cash and we truly appreciate that. Great work and we hope more restaurants open soon as Im almost at the end of all of them. :).

Still worth playing but not worth any investment due to greed. They need to earn our $$ we will not spend one penny until they fix this issue.
This game is the best so far you gotta try it.
This game is fun! Im a light game player, so its easy enough so we dont get frustrated and give up. Also lives are plentiful, and power ups are not necessary to complete levels, so you can really play for hours at a time without having issues. Also theres no ads in between levels, which means we play for longer without getting fed up. The storyline is cute, hilarious, and engaging, the graphics are spectacular and visually captivating . We think the game developers are on to something huge and should continue on the same trajectory for future success with this game and others.

The games fun but ads are WAY TO LONG! You get a screen that lasts too long, then it goes to another screen and theres a count down button. Depends on the ad, some are not so long but many are. Its annoying.
The game is Fun. But it stops being fun when they make you download for another game but you keep having to Start from the beginning. This will be the 2nd time we have to download and LOSE ALL THE PROGRESS WE ARE ALREADY AT. This is really stupid and it takes the fun out the game. This is starting to be a Waste of a game. We ONLY HAD 3 more games to go to get to the very ending, but we dont think Ill be starting from the beginning anymore. Im just going to Delete this game all together. Its not fun anymore. It should be YOUR CHOICE if we want to Upgrade. Or let us get to the ending , and then, if you want to start over from the beginning. Its your choice. We shouldnt have to be FORCED TO DOWNLOAD , just to start over and over again. NOT. AGAIN.

Can we have our own custom character/avatar that we can create ourself? The main reason we fell in love with cooking diary was because of how interactive it was and the fact that we can make our own characters for the story. But in this game its only a name and a premade character profile. So if its not too much trouble, could yall add a custom avatar for us to create for our main character (Like how cooking diary did)? (Im assuming that us, the player, is the main character besides the blonde girl (forgot her name, only been playing since the last of February.).
We usually dont write reviews but its a fun cooking game you ever played a cooking game and after a certain level its impossible to beat no matter how many times you tried. This never happens. Its challenging yet possible! No cheating, no money grabs, worth a try!!! We like how you also get a new restaurant pretty quick in our opinion.

We love that its not a pay to play game and the coins that left over u can use in the next restaurants u dont have to get all brand new coin for upgrades this what we loved about time management games before all this pay to play .. We still purchase tho cuz we want to support The game but they give u the option to grind the upgrades another plus we can play it with no service LOVE THAT PART.

The only thing we dont like in the game is that we cant accept more lives after we lose all of them. Ive tried to exit the game and open it back up to accept more lives but we cant Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again. But other than that we love this game.

We typically do not write reviews on apps, but after spending about 4-5 hours straight on this one, Im obsessed! It has no ads, a very fun story and gorgeous graphics. Im hungry after every level. The team did a great job on this one, and we look forward to playing it over and over because of the solid replay value.
We dont even think we can put into words how much we love this game! Not only are you cooking but it has an amazing storyline with it we dont think Ill ever get bored of it.

If you love Cooking Diaries and other cooking games with a design element, youll love this game! It would be great to see more cuisines such as Indian, Thai, Latin American, etc. Although American cuisine is fun, it would be fun to have more diversity in the restaurants you travel to.
