This game is insane. Its super fun, hard to get bored of, and very fair. This game has everything we look for in a game all in one! It has the challenge, the ability to be creative with your restaurant, house, AND character, (which we dont find in many cooking games) and of course, you can socialize! Speaking as a person who doesnt spend money on games this game is super fair. If you try you can save up at least 100 gems in just one week if your playing hard. In just one week we managed to accumulate 175 gems total! Im honestly obsessed with this game, and we 100% recommend it to anyone of all ages. A few suggestions we have for the developers: 1. We suggest you make events that you can earn free hairstyles without paying real money and from playing the game itself. 2. We think you should make a way for someone to pay for a golden ticket or for a food truck key for a certain amount of gems. (Im thinking 500-750 max) 3. Add emojis! This game is super fun but its a bit hard to communicate with friends in the club or in the park without them. 4. Add a makeup section in the avatar profile, where you can get a glow up. 5. Maybe you can make a way for someone to switch their avatar from girl to boy and boy to girl? Because some people might like using the opposite gender.. Anyways thats all for now! Been playing for years, and we never get the 90% offer for rubies, just 75% or 80%. Is 90% no longer offered?
We have been playing this game since we got pregnant with our second child in 2018. We havent been able to put the game down since, even though we recently had to start over; Im not as mad about that as we thought we would be because Im spending our diamonds more wisely. Love this game.
We could play this game for the rest of our life.
This game is SO fun and we love playing it. It doesnt have a lot of adds which we like and the levels get more challenging as you play. You get to make up your own character and name which we also really like. Definitely recommend this game.
We love this game if you love cooking games and have a little patience you will love this! Yes it has a few ads but all games do ! You can literally skip them lol we have had this app for 3yrs now and we have rarely spent any money. We joined a guild group and they give us gifts that help a lot! We love it and they have so many ways you can get gems without having to spend, once again we love this game and we will never delete it.
We love this game, the storyline is awesome and it has taught us about multi-tasking, but we don’t like how it takes us to a website when we watch an ad it’s kind of sus. Can the ads just be videos thx.
At first, its a fun game and then you get pressured to buy gems and some levels are impossible without getting more gems to upgrade your kitchen. You gain more coins each level than gems.
The ad pop ups will on occasion have a spinning circle then the ad may come in & run but we dont get credit, there are enough ads to watch without that.
We absolutely love this game, but after the last update the game changed Admins to someone else in the guild. We do not think that is fair especially if we opened the game. Why should someone in our guild now be admin? We can not get access back because we can not retrieve access do to it automatically switching to someone in our guild. Can you please fix this issue? The rating for this game is each 12 and over yet there have been some inappropriate ads that are very suggestive in sexual nature. If you have children under 18 we would not let them download this game. The game itself is very fun and we really enjoy playing it, but we would never be OK with our child playing it only because we would be concerned about the types of ads that might pop up. Seeing the reading at age 12 are over we would think that those types of ads would not be allowed on this game, and we really encourage the developer to be wiser about the choice of ad partners being made. There are also lots of annoying pop-ups at the start of each game, trying to get you to buy gems and other items for the game itself.
This game was fun, but now its getting too hard. We have played a LOT of levels, and you have to play levels for DAYS sometimes to wait out Ruby gathering to advance your restaurant. In recent updates, theyve stopped giving out prizes to feed & play with your pets, too. So now we have hungry, dirty, sad pets and levels we cant advance on. Someone who has played 620+ consecutive days and Im about to delete the game.
The gameplay is fun if youre able to get to it. We legit just sat through 18 popups before we could play. Its really an awful experience.
We cant begin to explain how much money we’ve wasted on this game over the last three years! We know its our fault, but we love the game and just wish the developers wouldnt make it near IMPOSSIBLE to WIN without paying! Some levels are near IMPOSSIBLE to win while other levels are simple and easy! In order to pass ALL 80 levels the LAST FIVE you have to PAY UP otherwise level 70-80 is IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT. LASTLY, the latest disappointment is this new version which makes us upgrade the furniture three times before we get a final product ! WHY? Before you could update your new furniture only once! Another making money scam. We guess we wont be upgrading or buying any new furniture for our restaurants. Really disappointed. Love the game, hate the money making aspects. We keep paying though so we guess we have myself to blame. Developers should make it more fun and easy to get ahead. Enough money taking already!
Great people in our guild but we hate it when it cheats by tracking people who bought & etc. Then take away free ads and want people to keep spending more & more money!!!
We’ve played this game for a while and dumped more money than we care to say, but the greediness of this company is just crazy. Rolling ads during the levels is disgusting. Pay to play isnt bad enough, but now we have to watch a tommy hilfigure ad during each level? We are deleting this game.
If Im in a level and already clicked where to set food down for sides, THEN an angry customer shows up wanting the opposite, WHY would it then put down that opposite item? Just because they order while our person is walking to do something already? If its already walking there, the game should be prioritizing customers who already ordered, and only factor in new customers after actions already in motion before they ordered are cleared. Thats so ridiculous Im losing event levels bc the programming is off.
We have not logged in for a year or two. We loved the game, but now the ads take longer, the wait for kitchen items is longer and every 3 levels it seems like there is a tough one that makes you want to use resources. The mini challenges we use to breeze through and now we barely can get through 3 levels. Not as fun, and definitely all the pop ups are annoying and the length to watch a video to get diamonds is insane. Very disappointed. We would probably buy more coins if the game wasnt so frustrating with these in your face changes.

We like this game Im new to it but our friend has been playing for years now we are now on a team that she created fabulous.
Honestly this is our favorite mobile game. It might sound silly but theres just some charm to it that keeps us redownloadong it. The characters are cute, the story is nice, and and we love it every time. Its also still a challenge even after all this time. Guilds are cool but expect to get new ones as they inevitably perish o7. Now if they could make Creighton romanceable- jk! Unless.
Ads are optional and you DO NOT have to spend money to progress in game unlike 99% of mobile games these days.
We actually think this is one of the most amazing cooking game we downloaded so far its very easy and doesnt have you doing puzzles to get diamonds at all very great game to play keep up the good work to the creators of this cooking game.
We gave this game 5 stars because it is a really fun cooking game to do when u r bored and it runs really well if u like cooking games then we really recommend this game.

Edit: It is impossible to complete this game without spending money, unless you spend absolutely NO GEMS ON YOURSELF OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN IMPROVEMENTS, we know like any game, it compromises integrity because it compromises competition. Being good is only valid if youre a penny pincher because other spending gems completing some levels is impossible. The developers paying attention to the reviews, commenting back, exhibiting human compassion, is a nice aspect.

We dont know if the stars are showing on this review but here we go! We’ve had this app for about two years and we usually dont write reviews at all. But this has been, and still is, a very fun game. You dont have to pay like most games after a point. The restaurants are all fun with their individual themes and most of them dont feel the same. They also cover several different cultures and their food. Though the building story doesnt refer to the large amount of differing foods unfortunately. One of the minor complaints that stops this from being a 5 star review, is that the rubies are harder and harder to come by the lasted you get. Sure, theres a roulette that you could get them from, but the max you could normally get is only 2. Which can get frustrating when you get soft blocked on a stage because you need to upgrade something. And the costs can go up to 13-18 rubies for the first upgrade, and 25 rubies for the max upgrade. However the mini events of the food truck not only get you boosters, but also a fair amount of rubies so you can upgrade your restaurant. Theres also daily quests that can semi rarely give rubies. One thing that I, maybe kinda wouldve liked is for the pets to give you a daily one time bonus for a set amount of time. It would give a bit more incentive to upgrade their pets. And not just to dress them up. But thats just our two cents.
We have been playing CookingDiary for about 6 n half months, and Imma say this game is the funnest cooking game we have came across so far. (Very addictive) There are endless things to do and we do catch myself spending to much time on the game because of it. The story line is really fun to read and watch, we must say Johnny intrigues us. (LoL) A lot of the updates are awesome and the rewards you get are amazing, but we do realize that if you dont pay real money on the game it does get really hard to progress in it; Along with that it is incredibly hard to get rubies. Also we had an idea about a cool feature that you could add to this game that would be more fun and efficient, Tasty-me is the app in-game that allows you to communicate and interact with other players.. Well what if there could be a feature added that allows you to text other players or message them. (Just a suggestion) But overall, this game has helped us with our boredom and even with all the ads and annoying stuff this game is awesome.
We have been playing this game for over 3 years and we enjoy the game. However, we are getting sick and tired of the repeated push to get us to make an in game purchase. Its bad enough that they have included advertising billboards in the food truck levels, but between levels you are bombarded with multiple purchase options for various upgrades. It detracts from the fun.
We really love this game. It helps us decompress and we feel like it stimulates our brain at the same time! The only thing that can be annoying is the amount of diamonds given but its still doable!
We loved this game and played it very regularly, but every time we open it up to play it says it needs to update. So its beginning to not be fun with some of the stuff it is updating too. We even have spent a lot of $$ on this game and for you all to keep adding new things too fast it will keep people from playing or for us that is. We sure hope this can be resolved quickly.
This would easily be 5 stars but when we beat a level and leave for a few hours and come back we HAVE TO REDO THE LEVEL. It is so irritating.
Dont get hooked, it is addicting, but once you do theyll make it impossible to play with taking all your money. When you work and save all you can to progress, they throw surprise pop-ups at you trying to get you to accidentally click and spend all youve saved in an instant. Support never resolves this or any other major issue and every update comes with more glitches, more restrictions, more changed game-play so youll suddenly lose a level and all rewards when you wouldve won before based on developed strategies. Just dont waste your time because it will only frustrate you or make you go broke eventually, because it is fun when its fair and not rigged.
Well now that youve made it even more difficult to get coins and banknotes on top of gems its now quite literally impossible to get ahead. We feel like once Im moving along, you developers are like how can we make this even more expensive since and difficult, this must be your staff meeting. Guess we will have to wait for the food truck every 3 days or so because folks, unless your willing to shell out cash, a lot of cash this game is impossible . Which is sad as Im on 9642 plot stars amd we just cant afford it anymore .
Way too many pop ups when you open the app for the first time of the day.
The new bubble pop game is very addicting. We love it and hate it. It is so frustrating to get free minutes of rewards and immediately lose half of it closing ads that immediately pop up! That isnt right. Why do the bubble game if you cant even use what you get because of ads. We dont mind the ads other times but right when you win minutes. You need to change that!
Been playing since late 2019 and we cant count how much real money we’ve spent on this game. But lately, the developers became so greedy and ask for more money.. But for what? Their clothes designs are getting ridiculous and they never listened to the players plea and suggestions. We are thinking of quitting the game since it is not sustainable anymore.. It cause more anxiety now than actually fun.
First, there are times when ads work and you gain w.e it is youre trying to gain like rubies or faster shipment of products but sometimes it doesnt work so youre basically giving them free money and gaining nothing. Another is when the game freezes or logs you out midway or doesnt count certain things. For example if you gave a customer enough drinks there are times when this game will freeze or log you out and ruin your streak. Levels get more difficult so you can pay them more rubies. Customer service is terrible because theyll just gaslight and patronize you like you were born yesterday. You guys used to be an authentic, genuine, fun game. Now youre just like every other greedy app game.
Full disclosure – we’ve spent a good amount of money on this game as it was going great in the beginning. Problem is they always place the button selection in a way to take advantage of you. A few examples: – When a level finishes they put the watch an ad for double the points button in a position that you would naturally click. That would be fine if we can choose to close the ad and lose our reward, but they dont give you that option, they force you to watch the whole ad to the end. – If you want to close an in game offer, end a game, or anything else thats normal, the game will have a box pop up to ask if youre sure. This would be great but the game WILL NEVER put an are you sure button if it involves spending gems. When you lose a level, theyll put the pay 20 gems and continue button right where you would naturally expect the continue button to be, and it will charge those gems in a heartbeat without ever asking if youre sure. Do you know how many times we accidentally paid 20+ gems for a level we could have easily beat? – Whenever you get a timed power up, that would be the time where every offer under the sun comes flooding your screen, making you unable to play. The cherry on top? They make the offer come in excruciatingly slow and the cancel button doesnt appear right away. These are literally just a few of their features which try to take advantage of you. We think what the developers dont realize is this kills any enjoyment we could have possibly gotten from this game.
Its so disappointing when youre playing a game and the developers are clearly too greedy to care about whether or not the game is truly accessible. Why does it cost diamonds to upgrade your equipment, ingredients, snacks and drinks??? Why does it cost diamonds to upgrade your restaurants appearance??? Everything costs diamonds this isnt a free to play game and its frustrating. And its not even like youre asking for one diamond to upgrade a stove youre asking for 20! Like be serious.
We have spent a lot of money on this game over the years just to find out that many players are allowed to watch unlimited ads and get all these things we pay for, for free because they can watch unlimited ads for in-game currency. We get one single ad per day and these players have such a ridiculous advantage and are always the one topping the leaderboards. The tournaments we used to think were fun are now meaningless because Mytona picks and chooses who can win by giving these players unlimited rubies. Many fed up players have written to Mytona but they say its out of their control. We regret spending money on this game as do others. The developer needs to give unlimited ads to all or take them away. So youll enjoy this game if youre chosen to get unlimited ads. If not, youll pay hundreds of dollars for the same things and youll still get beat. This is not the way to treat loyal, paying customers Mytona. Going to have to find another game, which is very sad because we really enjoyed this one.
We’ve played this game for a year, and lately it seems as if they continuously take things away and rework the game entirely. Some of us struggle to play after updating. Not as many people would struggle with each monthly (path to glory) update if so many things werent changed. We would be out of our mind to advise someone to play this game with all the money hungry tactics they use. The pop ups are CONSTANT and will run your boosters down intentionally, if you spend a lot of money they will raise the price for certain deals. For example, our husband spent more money than us throughout the year and Cooking Diary rewarded him by making the Christmas box $10. Ours was $5. A player who had been loyal to CD for years would have had to pay $40. This is also true for the Tasty Secrets tokens. It offers about 300 to us for $3, but our husband gets offered 270 for ~$17. It is crazy.
Not to sound like a bot or anything but this game is really good thats its addicting. We like customizing our character! Its also really satisfying when you complete the levels! We love this game!
The level with the corn dogs is glitching. The customers are wanting popcorn but there is no popcorn machine. Help please!!!
We have played this game on and off from when it first came out five years ago, and its one we always come back to. This is the first cooking game that we’ve found that you dont HAVE to spend money after a certain point as long as youre alright with waiting for upgrades (15 minutes, 4 hours, or 8 hours depending on the tier.) the only thing we’ve ever spent money on is the $5 monthly pass to get instant deliveries bc im impatient, but its totally doable without. It stays fresh because many of the restaurants are very different, the little story lines are cute, theres constantly a lot of events going on to keep things interesting, there are lots of opportunities to earn the premium currency required for upgrades (events, achievements, daily quests, guild quests, story completions, leaderboard tiers) so if you stay in each restaurant long enough to earn the diamonds there, you will never have to buy currency. And if you find yourself short on the premium currency, you can go back to other restaurants and complete achievements, or if worst comes to worst, wait til tomorrow to do your daily quest and/or any new events to earn more. Its a solid game, very fun, and it stays interesting. (and no, im not a bot and this isnt a paid endorsement. This really is the best cooking game out there, and trust us, we’ve tried them all.)
