It would be cool to have the option to continue the match as unrated once one of the players time runs out.
We discovered chess.com about five years ago after having not played for more than 20 years. It is reinvigorated our love of the game. Its fast, fun, easy to use, and intellectually stimulating. Being from the old school of tournament pieces and rolled out boards, there is only one rule change that we would make to make the game perfect. Namely, when playing chess, you cannot lose on time if you have checkmate on the move. We have lost more games than we can count because chess.com does not recognize this once common rule. Give us five seconds before finalizing the game to find the move. Made the best player win! Other than that, we think its brilliant. If we wouldve had this app when we were younger, we would never have quit playing the game.

This app offers lots of ways to learn, and as much chess as you like. Love it.
We love this because it allows us to play chess everywhere, but it is regrettable that you have to pay for unlimited lessons and more chess bots. Overall we would download it.-.
Very hard we Don't like not having premium but fun.
Great platform however rating isnt always accurate. Bad WiFi, signal, and or service will automatically disqualify you as opposed to disqualifying the game. And sometimes an opponent will wait out a game at the final round for plus 45 seconds and the game does not count as supposed to abandoning the game.
Not fair that it doesnt allow us to select our pieces a head of time and premove, the app system is broken!!! If another player against us app user uses a computer system being, it is super unfair advantage because the app is incapable to perform on 1 mins games!!! Stop putting computers or website users against app users on bullet games, you dont allow app users to premove, it glitches and doesnt let you select the pieces we literally have to select it twice and that is clear and easy to tell it when we are going against a computer. The solution stop allowing computer users against your app users on bullet and games under 3 mins, wake up and do it, stop making accuses. Even browser users against the app users, or take the glitches, limitations, off the app. Respond and listen.

As a former tournament player trying to restore our strength, this tool is the best.
Im mostly new to chess but from what we can tell it works great and we especially love that it can serve as a teaching app. Our only complaint is we wish there was a way to make a way to make the coordinates bigger. Even with our glasses we struggle to read them sometimes. Im sure veteran players have them committed to memory, but for those of us who are learning and also have a vision impairment, it would be nice to be able to adjust the size. If that option does exist and we have overlooked it, please disregard.
We used to be a diamond member. Chess.com was great. We took a break for a few months, and now you have all these banners and announcements of matchups that take time and distract from the game, But dont actually improve the experience. Chess players want to play chess. They do not care who is playing them, and for a blitz game its incredibly annoying to have to wait several seconds to look around a banner that takes up 60% of the screen. Please drop the fluff and let us just play chess. Also, dont immediately take people to analysis if they cant use it. Offer it, but dont make it hard to get out of.

Literally the best chess app you could ask for. You can use all the basic functions in the free version and learn perfectly fine. You could also pay the monthly fee to unlock unlimited puzzles and coaching.
The app is intuitive to use, has lots of bots to play, and can review your games for you.

Chess, to us, is the only game that isnt a game. Its a tool that sharpens thought processes and strategizing. Its the only game we can think of that our wins or loses hinge completely upon our choices, not the luck of the shuffle.

It may be the new iOS/ipados, but there are a number of formatting issues. Things dont fit entirely on the screen on iPad. Typically, the bottom of boards or some text at the bottom gets chopped off. Otherwise, quite well done. Fix the issues and it would be awesome.
Events -> game view is still broken. Support requests ignored. Please fix.
Very fun to play – sadly you need premium for unlimited chess puzzles and such.
So we did a really long game okay? And we finished it off and did a game review. It took a really long time and then it said it could not load try again later. So when we tried, it said we had already done it and we had to get a membership! Please fix that bug.
We have tried a couple chess apps & have had problems but this one has great features and is really awesome! We just recently started it and we are loving it! It has a lot of extra special options to enjoy when we get a chance! Im looking forward to their help and tips in growing to be a better chess player.
