This is a faithful conversion of Columns. If that is what you were looking for, Id recommend this. Although we would like a small gird mode 6×12 mode as thats what the original game used, and also why isnt there any music anymore? There used to be music but now its gone? Why.
Dont like version on the game. It isnt a full screen.
In the version we used to play, a wildcard set would come down and remove all of the same color from the screen. If you had things set up right it could trigger a big wave of matches that was really fun. Id like to have a version with that feature again.
We kinda like it but our mom loves it.
Our i6Plus phone died about a month ago without any warning. We had no choice but to purchase a new phone. Even though we purchased another Apple phone and we still have the same phone number and all the personal data is the same, youre telling us that Im signed with a user name from 7 years ago. We paid for this app and we should be able to access it without all this rigmarole youre putting us through now. Apple says they are all about protecting customer privacy, but that doesnt stop you folks from going on our phone and removing FREE apps that we installed on our own. Now we cant access that app (Zedge Free Ringtones) and it is not available in the App Store. Stop messaging with our phone. You should be glad that we just purchased our 3rd Apple phone. If we had known we were going to be harassed like this before we purchased the last phone, we would have purchased a different phone like a Galaxy.
It wont load the game when you download it and it crashes when you try to play.
In the latest update the ability to turn off the sound is not working for the ads. The game is quiet but the ads are SUPER LOUD and wont turn off sound. So basically we cant play it out and about or at work anymore.
It used to be a full screen, now it is very small.
The game will not fill the screen on our Phone. This started after the last Apple update.
Since the last iOS update the game now appears about 1/3 the size of the screen and down in the lower left corner. Its a miniature version of its former self.
The game is unplayable in its current state. The ads are blocking the bottom the screen. We cant purchase an ad free version of the game, because it is not available. So it is very poor.
Nice straightforward game. Not a lot of bells and whistles which we suppose accounts for it not being a storage hog–important on our storage challenged older phone. Would recommend you try it.
We were hooked on this game when we first played it on the SEGA Genesis video game system years ago. We were happy that the APP STORE had this COLUMNS game app. We downloaded this app on our iPhone and have been playing it every since we got it! COLUMNS make an excellent game whether we are at home or on the go. We plan to keep this game for years to come.
We love this app, we use it on a relaxing time, and it is also really fun to play Marathon. We are trying to go over 42000.
If you're a fan of the original columns for the sega genesis, this game is a must. Having the same game that we sunk many hours into as a kid right here in our pocket is a dream come true. The only complaints we have are that difficulty isn't adjustable (it seems to stay on normal mode). In the original, difficulty determined how many different gems could appear. Also, we feel like they could make gem skins as an unlockable, or something to work toward. That's our only complaint.
Sometimes the simple games are the most fun! Just wish there were more jewel variations especially when leveling up. Thanks.
The music on this game is awesome! Very addicting. Can you make the music a never ending loop tho? Thanks.
This version updated an older version and, in our opinion, forced us to delete the app. You have to repeatedly turn off the noises. They eliminated the 'blitz' mode. Finally, we cannot score more than 5,000 per game. (we used to score 9-15,000 points.) Too bad – it's gone.
Love, Love, Love this game, very addicting, great sound effects. We play for hours at a time, constantly trying to beat our high score.
This game is soooo much fun!!! It's is totally addicting, challenging, and entertaining!!! If you like Tetris you will love this too!!! Great app with minimal problems … It also allows for various ways to play and score keeping !!! Love it.

Addictive- but INFURIATING! :( Only prob for us is that there is a delay when clearing the "3in a row" which is obnoxious because the next column starts falling BEFORE the cleared row is gone, and when ur near the top, timing of that is critical! Fix this bug! It's gotta clear 3 in a rows before the next column falls.

We have a 1 month old Touch and this game will not work. It shows the loading screen then goes away. Tried for 3 days, reloaded twice. Wasted our time.
Lame, terrible ripoff of Sega Columns. Shame on any of you who like this get the Sega version please. And why does the Sega version have such a low rating? It's awesome and works perfectly for us. Why do people always get the lame ripoff brand? The original creators need money too.
