What Makes Pentix Nova – Falling Blocks Stand Out
Reimagination and a remake of the immortal classic. Arrange the falling pieces to fill up and clear the lines. Clear as many lines as possible to advance through levels or complete various objectives. This game is inspired by the four brick falling blocks games. But instead of easy four brick pieces, where the name Tetra comes from, this game uses five bricks pieces, thus the name Penta. Of course, you are not limited to either set of pieces. Play any combination you would like and consider more fun.

We like it, just the music is just so annoying we play with the sound down and also maybe make it were you earn money and can change the background and blocks. Yep dats it.
The recent update forces us into advertisements. Not cool. If that stays we will stop using this app although we enjoy it. Generally, it was hard to understand what the recent updates were for. Strange color changes being one of the changes.
We played the free version for weeks before getting the version without ads. They just added some extra levels with little vortices and blocks you have to hit thrice to make disappear. We initially found this game while looking for Tetris. You can play with only 4 block pieces (basically Tetris) or with only 5 block pieces (Pentix, which is harder) or with a combination of 1,2,3,4,5 block pieces. It took awhile to finish the Pentix challenge series. You can play by level and level up through challenges, or play the regular game, or play a random adventure level.
Listen to our audio books while we play this. Very relaxing.
Why can we not select the speed of the game.
Too many viruses ads trying to get people to buy viruses pretending.
As a lifelong Tetris lover, we love this game! We enjoy the extra shapes and the campaigns. Please add some new levels to the campaigns This game has been our go-to Tetris game for years.
Unfortunately its glitchy and way too many ads only 5 stats so youll see it not really worth it imo even though the design is cool music is interesting. Wish there was a way to control the pace.
Its a serviceable Tetris variant. At first we were making a lot of mistakes with the touch controls but you get used to them and the app has a decent enough UI. The Pentix game mode with only pentominoes is pretty difficult by nature and thats where some of the mechanics start to be a problem. The hold function in this game doesnt work like other games, making it feel punishing. Basically in other tetris games you can switch the held piece at will, but in this game you have to hold and then unhold that piece before you can hold again. There are some problematic pieces that you basically will want to hold 100% of the time, so you have to be playing around this hold and unhold mechanic which is a bit frustrating. Its not as big a deal with the other game modes which are significantly easier. All in all Ive sunk some time into this one so nice job.
We love the game but need more levels to continue playing.

We downloaded this, as the version of tetris we have can no longer be updated and Ive yet to find something similar. This just isnt the same. It is a different maker so the blocks dont turn or move as well. We miss Tetris.
We should be able to select which adventure level we want to play, rather than having one randomly assigned.
We like this game but the drop button being on both sides is very awkward. Our right hand is flipping the block while our left presses the drop button but more then anything. Disabling them and using the tiny little drop button in the top of screen it is very annoying also. Please enable a settings button enabling either side to be used.
These shapes used are very weird. May be ok if youre not looking for the old school Tetris game.

Love this game. We appreciate that removing ads is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. We wish there were a way to play the campaign levels with the classic 4-block pieces.
Ad-free version still has an add that blocks the bottom of the screen that prevents player from seeing the bottom of the clearly. It pretty much defeats the whole point of the game.
Hi, Ive been playing Pentix nova for ages. In this most recent update the responsiveness of our fingers has changed. The dragging across and double tap to drop is wonky- the dragging isnt responding as fast as it was before, because we keep dropping the pieces in places we dont want.
While theyre nice to have its way too easy to accidentally hit them ruining our moves.
After the last update it has a serious problem with touch recognition. Reason to delete the app.
Ive been playing this game every night for a long time. Its mildly challenging, and it doesnt speed up as you go, which is all we want for relaxation. (we used to be a Tetris addict long ago, when we played it on our TV.).
Why am we getting Spanish Ads in your Ap? We are NOT Hispanic, born, bred, raised here in the USA, a Veteran, and speak ENGLISH. We resent feeling nudged out of our own country.
One of the level in the Master-campaign (level 9) seems to not work. We can clear all the blocks and the game doesnt end/completeor am we doing something wrong.
Level 9 seems endless and we dont kkkw how to beat it.
We really like adventure mode. Ive done about a dozen levels and we hope there are a lot more. The new piece shapes are fun to play with and are a new challenge coming from classic. The control scheme is just as good or better than the official tetris app. Not perfect though, we still occasionally screw up a run by accidentally moving or rotating a piece at the last second. Our biggest complaint is that there is no ad-free version. We would pay a few bucks to get rid of the ads, but we cant. Compared to most other games, the ads in this one arent as intrusive though, but we still hate having to wait through them.
Seriously ive never seen a game cheat this much.

You can play the original, Tetris, or some different variations that make it a lot more challenging. It has a feature called ghost block that shows you in advance where the block will land. Is this cheating? Does this give you an advantage? She didnt have on your old game boy? Who knows But its fun.
The music is intense. We love t*tris but the music? Instantly boosts it to five stars. It stays with us. Every time we read, we think of how a block could fit between the lines. When we close our eyes, we see annoying pieces fitting into the best of spots. This is our life now.
Is something different than we seen before.

Very difficult but very entertaining right now Im in a hospital is help us for work our brain is very teraphist.
Game is fun and challenging. The only thing we would recommend is that it would have a bigger screen so we could have more room to move our fingers. We like the game and seem to spend a lot of time playing it. Hope you have a good time too.

This is a great game. Nice and simple. Only thing we dont like is the ads are really annoying, we wish we could pay for an ad free version.
We would recommend that they add two things: 1) being able to rotate the pieces both ways instead of having to choose clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. And 2) being able to start the game at different drop speeds Other than that, the game is better than the current Tetris app in our opinion because we prefer the NES version of Tetris. Its just plain solo competition trying to get your highest score from banging out tetrises. We actually like the 5 block piece version as well, its challenging and a great spin on the traditional game. Rotating the pieces both ways would really take this app to the next level but its a very well done version of Tetris.
The controls are clunky and its too easy to make frequent errors. Would be great otherwise.
Game is fun but need sensitivity adjustment when youre sliding blocks down it wants to throw them to the side put in them in the wrong spot.
Unfortunately when you try to bring the part down sometimes change the form and its very frustrating we prefer the forms on the hand version.
The controls are like our sister- way too sensitive to play with.
These are probably the worst shapes ever , great app as far as no issues and manufactures and different modes but the shapes are just terrible.
The game is great, but the area to drop pieces is so tiny that its hard to hit consistently. Any press around this area flips the orientation, which leads to too many miss placed pieces. Playing it on a road trip with bumpy roads is nearly impossible.
Give us a ad free option to buy! Id rate it a 5 star game if there were no ads. But we hate them so much its getting a 2 star review from us. The game play is great and looks like they fixed some issues we were having in a recent update. This is the best Tetris clone we found so far. The ads are so over bearing it makes it a horrible experience. For that reason we wont be playing it. Hope they listen and give us that option. Id gladly pay $5.99 or so for one.
Many of these games are now owned by Chinese! Different game, same ripoff.
