Gamer Verdict – Reviews of Facility 47 Trial

Here’s what players have to say about their experience with Facility 47 Trial:

The Puzzles Are Challenging Enough But Not Ruthless, The Story

"This game is amazing!! Absolutely one of the best mystery adventure games I have played. The puzzles are challenging enough but not ruthless, the story is unfolding nicely and the controls are good (and you don’t need to tap maniacally at every inch of the screen to find objects). Great art as well! Thanks for your work and please make more of these! :-)", A Google user says.

  1. I play a lot of these first person puzzle games and this one is solid. It’s a setting that I’ve never seen done before and the slowly revealing storyline told through notes is reminiscent of Meow Wolf and other immersive art installations. I’m on the fence about only getting three free hints though. On the one hand it pushes you to solve the puzzles on your own more often, but on the other, when you’re just picking up the game right before bed at night, it can be tricky to even remember where you left off without wasting a hint. Still, I bought the game to keep playing it and I’m about to dive in. Overall it’s a good deal for this genre being only $3.99 for the full version. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a good, new mystery game!

  2. Excellent Escape adventure, high quality graphics, although I’ve only had one thing I would consider "hard" (though not very). The story slowly builds up, as you find pieces of information, letters, notes, emails, etc. Up to you to assemble the puzzle and see the whole picture! I was extremely amused to find the text adventure version within the game 😂 Note: The game is not free, at some point you have to pay to continue.

  3. This is a high quality game w/ a smart, interesting storyline. It’s actually pertinent to what’s happening now w/ the pandemic, which makes it spooky. The visuals are nice, & even though I got a warning that it’s made for an older version of Android, I didn’t have any problems playing. It’s a generous length & worth paying for. I can generally solve these games w/out hints, but I did end up paying $1 for 5 hints. You get 3 hints for free. I look forward to more from this company!

Fred Jepson: One of the best games of its kind, mostly in that the challenges you must solve to progress in the story are relevant to the storyline – they are not random puzzles with no real justification for being there, but rather clever interactions with the story itself. A truly great game tells a story and invites you to be a part of that story. Facility 47 does that in spades and was well worth purchasing the full game. I tip my hat to its creators. Excellent work! UPDATE: Replay just as fun 2nd time.

A Google user: I loved this game! It reminded me of the movie “The Thing” which was based on a movie from the 50s I believe. Very creepy. The artwork was great. Game play was smooth. No problems encountered during the entire game. Great development team. Try Darkmoor Manor for another great game from the same team. Would love to see more like those two from this team. Nice work.

A Google user: Really enjoyed playing. Although the game is several years old, I just discovered it. It worked flawlessly on Samsung Tab A running Android 9. I think the free portion of the game gives a fair amount of play and is a good indication of how remainder of the game will look. The play area widens and the puzzles become more intricate. Price for unlocking the rest of the game is $3.99 at the beginning of 2020.

A Google user: One of Android’s best gaming experiences.. The cohesive orchestration of discovery, challenge, story, immersion, emotion, theme, sequence, and music provide an experience greater than the sum of its parts. Enjoyment Tip: Fight the temptation to use hints or YT walkthroughs, and explore. When stuck, leave game and come back to it. Let your mind do the investigative work. Do not underestimate your own intellect.

Alice O: As a longtime fan of adventure games, I can’t recommend this one enough! I’m glad I bought the full game as it has exceeded my expectations. There are multiple endings, after you get one you can easily replay the game and get the other if you so choose. The graphics, sound design and puzzles are top-notch. Attention to detail is perfect, lots of in-game lore and notes. Intro and ending cinematics are very high quality as well. Overall fantastic game, very happy with my experience.

Mary SULLIVAN: I absolutely loved the Detective work involved in figuring out what happened in this awesome, abandoned Facility! Advice: I did have a notebook handy for writing down the locations of the various notes and journal entries I came across. Yes, you do need to do quite a bit of reading to get the most from this game. But, you could also just treat it as an Escape game if you wish.

Sylvia: No ads! Fantastic game with engaging storyline. Awesome attention to detail. Not only does this compare to Alawar’s games, but it is a nice contrast since this game makes logical sense with its puzzles vs Alawar’s and Rusty Lake’s fastastical nature. By far, this is one of the best escape room game I’ve ever played. I didn’t like the fact that I wasn’t told up front that I would need to purchase it before getting the entire game, but even if you don’t purchase it, the demo is worth it.

Will S: I really enjoyed it, I was a little worried when I paid to get last the paywall that it might not be worth it, but there is still a solid 3+ hours of content afterwards. The story and the ending are very clever and the puzzles are just right for me in terms of their difficulty. Graphics are good, and I didn’t have any bugs.

Omer Arditi: A great puzzle game, hooks you and then you have to play to keep solving the mystery!, I paid, the game is fun and the story is interesting, great writing and some of the puzzles are hard! Keep making more games! I finished the game, i feel kinda stopped for the ending i choose lol, but it’s a game after all. Thank you for this great game.

A H: Amazing game! Installed free version but ended up paying for the rest, and it was worth it. I love escape games but this one had me all over. I did have to look up hints x2 but overall wasn’t so hard I couldn’t keep playing. And it has two endings! Didn’t find the Easter egg while playing but 🤷🏾‍♀️

Jo Jo: I was interested enough to push on through frustrating moments, and in all was rewarded with a variety of puzzles and rooms to unlock. The puzzles have relatively logical solutions, once you find all the objects. No numerical patterns to decipher!

A Google user: Nice graphic, challenging puzzles, good story line. I paid to finish the game but I feel worth it. Would be good if longer but split into chapters. Once started difficult to stop. Also area too big, easy to forget where things are 😆

A Google user: What a great adventure! Some of the puzzles required alot of note taking or screenshots of things you find. A notepad being in the game would have been much better. However, it is still worth the money.

A Google user: I thought this game was great! It had a creepy storyline (you have to read a lot to get the whole story), tons of puzzles, and a twisted ending (I saw it coming, but I was still intrigued). I’m glad it was free to try. You never know how good (or bad) a game is till you try it. I paid to finish the game.

A Google user: This adventure /puzzle game is really a demo, but allows you ample play before the free part ends. Excellent graphics, an intriguing mystery story and a really unique setting. The navigation was a bit awkward, but overall, very nicely done.

Greg B: This is an absolutely awesome game! I love escape room games and this one had incredible graphics puzzles that were solvable but still hard enough and there was just a really cool ambiance about the whole game! This is the only game where I’ve considered actually buying the sequel! Yes, it is that good!

A Google user: I don’t spend money on apps. Ever… unless it’s this one. The graphics are superb, the puzzles are engaging, and the story had me so riveted that I was destroyed at the pay block. And caved. And bought it. Well done, you got me <3

Anders Øyvind Urke-Sætre: Make note of Inertia Software! That a developer chooses a business model of this sort… I had given up hope. You don’t know what an exceptional pleasure it is, to enter a game completely ridden of anything that resembles an ad. You soothed me so well, that I was starting to wonder where, or when, the typical money sink would show up. I deeply believe in this way of treating players, and it was a no-brainer to purchase the remaining game, when that point came. At a very fair price.

Andrei Izbiakov: Great game. You can play offline when you have time. Very good puzzles, pretty logical. All could be solved without hints if you think enough! Pay attention to small things. The game has two endings, depends on your choice. BTW, I do not agree with first one :)

A Google user: This was an exceptional & captivating gaming experience. I played this when it was first released. I occasionally drp in hoping to find a new chapter or a similar new release but I am regularly disappointed. As a fan of point & click adventures I’m always on the hunt. There are few games that truly impress. This app is 1 in a very short list. I hope to see more!!! ***Similar fans may want to check out 2 of my favorites, Tormentum & The Frostrune***

A Google user: Loved it. The free part was great and would definitly spend money to play the rest. It reminded me of Myst. Good story line, interesting puzzles, and it also works your observation and detective skills.

A Google user: Great game. Paid for the full game after testing out the free version. The game isn’t overly hard, but it isn’t easy either. There are some great puzzles throughout. I’d happily play more from this developer.

A Google user: A brilliantly well crafted and engrossing game. I paid to finish it and I have literally never paid for a game before. Slow clap for the designers and programmers, this is light years ahead of the usual dreck.

Bexy Boo: Loved this game. I’ve played it through a couple times now as there’s an alternative ending. I hope you make more just like this one. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Decent length and great storyline.

Gokul Bhoi: Beautiful experience! The game perfectly showcases of a probable scenario of which today the whole humanity fears the most – a deadly, incurable viral or bacterial outbreak that is locked up in the depths of snow and ice! This is what the difficulty of survival game should be.

A Google user: Excellent game, beautifully made. The gameplay is just tricky enough but not impossible. The artwork is fantastic. They have obviously spent a lot of time and effort on this game and it pays off. Bravo! Enjoyed it so much I have paid for the full version. Thank you!

A Google user: Nest game in a long time and many games played. Puzzles that really make you think, I even had to use some hints and that’s rare! I would love some more like this!I completely enjoyed and was never bored. Play it!

A Google user: Really nice adventure. Puzzles are great, some are not that obvious but never illogical. In app purchase of the full version was well worth it.

A Google user: WOW and can’t wait to delve into the Full game. Graphics are clear and sharp play is smooth with no delays. If you have watched the Thing this will be familiar. (without the monster). Hope you will continue making these games I’m first in line to BUY them. Thanks for the fun!!

A Google user: Great game, really challenging, interesting plot that kept you guessing until the end. All the puzzles made sense and the game play was smooth. One of the best games I have ever played.

A Google user: Great puzzles, good user interface. Interesting storyline too. Nicely drawn, items to interact with are visible but not highlighted.

Agata DESCROIX: My favorite game above all! This is a mesmerizing game that brought me to The Thing’s movie set. Until the last moment, this game is mysterious, exciting. Totally in love. Congratulations to the whole team, true masterpiece!!

Steve Horsburgh: Great fun adventure made by devs who know what they’re doing! Puzzles are spot on, object interaction feedback is good, atmosphere is applied well. Had no hesitation paying to access full game.

A Google user: Great game! Would be able to kill some time with it! Only one odd thing was the cog stuck in ice. It wasnt looking nice there. It would be perfect if it were somewhere else.

A Google user: Great experience. Very nicely done clicker game. Good puzzles. The atmosphere created through the images really played well with the story.

A Google user: Wonderful point & click mystery dventure with challenging, creative puzzles, interesting plot, and great artwork. Very well-done & well worth the price.

A Google user: Interesting story in a challenging escape puzzle. Got stuck a few times. A little scary. I’m going to reach the end…

A Google user: I found this a great game to play. You get the first half free but will have to pay $3.99 for the other half, buy it. Well worth the small amount of money. Great game play, will make you think and lots of fun.. GET IT ..

Harmony Morris: This is a great game it kept me wanting to know more about what happened at the facility. Great story it was interesting. It takes work to figure everything out but it makes you use your brain.

A Google user: Graphically pleasing, logically solvable puzzles (not obscure as in some games), brilliant programming, lots of functioning machines. What more could you ask for?

Infinity Masks and Sculptures: Excellent adventure puzzle game with superb graphics and atmosphere. One of the best !!!!

0ther Un1t: Thos game is badass, the story makes sense and it’s creepy as hell! It’s very well thought out and I want the whole game, which is rare for me, thanks for the free part, I really love it!

Jeannie Tracy: Excellent point and click adventure! Well thought out and requires you to think, take notes, and use your brain. One of the best games I’ve come across!

A Google user: Best escape game yet. Puzzles are challenging but still logical, high quality visuals.

MrShuckedSean: The puzzles are kind of hard, but passable. Ive played harder ones or maybe I’m just getting good at these games

Lorrie Wolf: Excellent game, kinda hard but believable. Interesting story, cool environment. Ending interesting. Wish there was a continuation, some how. Great game

A Google user: Great game. After a certain point you have to pay for the full version but its well worth it. I got tons of playtime. Ill never understand whiney entitled people who dont want to pay for a game. Do they think developers are working for fun?

A Google user: This is truly one of the best puzzle games i have ever played, it comes right after The Room series and i love it so much that i bought the additional content as well

A Google user: Stumbled on to this game looking through the play store. Gotta say it’s very very good and I didn’t want it to end. I paid the 3.99 and decided to keep going.

A Google user: I paid to continue and it was an excellent game. Loved all the machines I had to figure out and clues, I hope more are made.

Mark C: Very nice game play. Interesting story. Not too hard, just enough for thorough entertainment. I love games like this. Worth the money.

A Google user: Superb. Atmospheric, with intelligent and challenging but solvable puzzles. Very involving.

A Google user: Great game, tricky in places but not so much that it’s frustrating as it can be worked out logically.

A Google user: I really enjoyed this game. It’s quite long with logical and balanced puzzles. Well worth the money.

A Google user: Its a fun game. Only free for a bit then 3.99 to continue plus 99 cents for 5 hints at a time if needed

A Google user: I play a lot of these games and this one is a really good one. Graphics good and puzzles testing

A Google user: Very interesting game, game play is not to easy but not difficult either, would recommend it to my friends

A Google user: although it was challenging in some of the puzzles that was overcome by watching videos to cheat and get clues eventhough they werent needed

A Google user: Perfect! A thoroughly enjoyable mystery game. Good puzzles to solve.

A Google user: Enjoyed the game. Puzzles were not so difficult that it makes it uninteresting.

Christal L: It’s a good game. It definitely keep you thinking & you never want to stop. It make you wonder what happens next.

A Google user: Fun, detailed app. Rich characters, compelling mysteries and challenging puzzles.

Julia Lohr: Worth the purchase. Captivating. But after playing it through once, I set it aside.

Rob Fraser: Incredible puzzles that are rarely beyond comprehension, I can’t give a rating of 4.8 so I’ll just round it up to 5! 👍

manoj kumar: This puzzle is bit tricky and awesome… No ads.. Should add some more hints for better game play…
