Reinstalled and started over. No ads not even between levels! Played for 3 years with many ads. Now total ad free! Greatest game ever.
Our sister and we went to get our nails done and we were finished before her so we started playing and we had so much fun. Before we knew it we had been at level 489 and our sister was already done. We definitely recommend.
This has been fun for quite some time but as the team has progressed members have left. Unless you have a dozen team members or more its a chore to complete levels above 7000. How do we get new members? Havent seen a new feature in ages. And Penguins are evil little creatures.
At first, we thought we controlled our levels and ratings, but after playing on two units against ourselves, no matter how hard we tried to win or lose, we found it wasnt possible. The game is rigged to drop cubes as it sees fit and the player cannot change its design.

Reward for winning a level should be NO ADS! At least not 4-6 in a row we understand advertising and the up side but OMGGGG its beyond excessive.
It goes through spurts where you cant win until the game basically allows it by giving you keys to solve it. This can take days and in that instance its boring and not worth anyones time. The cards you collect also duplicate repeatedly and dont really pay off. We guess they want you to just buy credits and that isnt fun anymore. We used the game to pass time during cancer treatments but we wont waste time on days and days for one boring level anymore. They could improve that but in 2 years it hasnt changed so we guess its time to move on to another app.
We have been playing this game for a long time, we have been enjoying it very much, it keeps our brain going, it is a great game to play.
We used to love this game and would play it for hours. Since the feature of giving free, extra plays ended, it is virtually impossible to win a game. If you cant get through a game, you cant get any special items (yo-yo, laser gun, etc). If you dont have any special items, you cant get through a game. See where Im going here.
We believe there is a glitch in level 5978. It is impossible to pass.
The game is great but the McDonalds ad will not x out when added lives. Very annoying, and why in Spanish.
Ive been playing this game for a little over two years. Ive completed 6000+ levels Ive spent hundreds of dollars and it was all worth it. Its a great time passer on brakes from work or in the bathroom until two days ago. It was the only game on our phone.
No game Ive ever played even resembles the games shown on the app page. It always the same ones over and over. Mich.
Its OK, we guess. This is the first time ive played it. Our 7 year old great granddaughter is the one who plays it.

Pretty good game which we have been playing to over level 5000, but most recent revision has a huge glitch that steals coins without play.
We never write reviews, but we felt compelled to because we are so disappointed with where this game is at now. We used to love it and would spend a lot of time playing it. However, the levels have become harder and harder to beat. Im not sure its an app-wide thing or just when you get to higher and higher levels its gotten to the point that it takes numerous tries to beat almost every level (not even just the hard and extreme levels – which are a whole other story). We guess they are wanting folks to spend more money to play, which Ive done some, but refuse to do any more. The game has lost its fun and its not worth playing when you have to try 20+ times or spend hundreds of dollars to beat almost every level. Also, because you only get 6 lives, you have to wait for them to refill before you can try again once youve run out (you can ask teammates for some, but those go quickly now with the difficulty). Its annoying and frustrating, and yall are probably going to continue losing loyal players/customers.
The updates have made this game much more difficult. We play to relax not be stressed out! Wish we never did all the updates Once again we came back to the game we used to love but it keeps getting worse with each update. Looked at some of the other teams and their members are dropping just like ours are. From fifty down to six members. Others teams have had huge drop offs too.
We used to love this game; but thats changed. We are sick and tired of the massive number of Extremely Hard (meaning near impossible) levels. It makes us want to delete this app when we struggle through the same level days on end. We cant earn boosters to help because we cant pass the d*** level to earn any! The hard levels are challenging enough; we dont need the Extreme ones. :(. If youre going to continue with this track, at least include a skip option. It doesnt matter if it sends us back a number of levels, just to get out of the current one. Games are meant to be enjoyed, not to add to stress. Also, why are we forced to spend money for extra lives? Every other app offers ads for more lives.
Ive been playing this game for awhile. Usually our go to game however after last update it looks like the playing screen shrunk.It does not fill the top 1/4 of playing screen and it seems so tiny. Did someone happen at last update that effected the playing screen? Is there a way to expand the screen somehow? Dont like it this way.
This app overrides our hearing aids so that when we play, our hearing aids do not work.
Been playing for years and for the last 6 months cant contribute keys to our team chest so we miss out on the bonuses. Thought it was just us but its happening to a few. Not fair but the game is addicting.
Very fun and addictive. As Ive gotten into the higher levels (5200s), the game deteriorated. Elements consistently in the lower levels disappeared (colors of blocks to be destroyed, cubes not disappearing when they would have at lower levels). Maybe this is part of the challenge, but it should be mentioned if so. We have enjoyed many hours (maybe too many) of play, but the last few levels have seemed sloppy. A quality control issue, or an intended challenge.
Good game, not too different than other games this style however, this game is ad HEAVY!!!! SOS much so some ads will run 3X before you get back to the game. Youre watching ads more than playing. We were almost willing to buy the game until we realized how much ad time was running. Now we wont purchase out of principle.
Our mom has been playing this game for one year and shes on level 5123 and shes a pro, after we saw her play we thought we should try and we love it.
This has become our go-to game. If you wish, you can strategize on how to consolidate blocks of the same color or how to hit marks. Or, if your mind wants to switch off, you can merely blow stuff up. We dont pay much attention to interpersonal contests, but they are not intrusive either. Its just fun – on whatever level you want to play it. We only wish that it were possible to go back and replay a level once you have completed it.
We deliberately spent 50 coins and added 5 moves on a level so we would keep our boosters for the next level, which was labeled Hard. After we completed the level, we got an ad, which is fine, but it was just a black screen. The only way to get out of the ad was to close the app and reopen. Well, we lost the boosters. Spent 50 coins to keep them, and lost them anyway. Im not playing this game anymore. Wasted too much time anyway. Probably a blessing in disguise.
We LOVE THIS GAME! Having said that Im ready to walk away we think. Ive spent $$ in the game and play daily. Up until a week or so ago is was a flawless experience. We wrote to support via inside the app in settings explaining an issue where Im not getting rewards from an event and Im yet to hear back. This week same thing-same event and no rewards even tho our team has completed 2 of 3 levels so far so Ive written we believe 5 times and NOBODY HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME! This isnt okay and we feel we should just cut our losses now but Ill give it until tomorrow.
We love that there are new levels added regularly but, with the last 2 updates, theyve come with lots of bugs. Most recently, Ive been unable to participate in the team chest challenge even though Im clearing levels. When we look at our team our level is about 13 levels lower than our completed level. Something similar happened the update before last. We were given a link with an hour of game play as compensation but the link actually took our to a childrens game app. Im not sure whats up, but Im finding game play more frustrating than fun right now. Im not getting a response when we try to contact the developers through the app. Thats all too bad because we think Im about ready to delete the game.

UPDATE: many months after and several updates, still not fixed. After weeks of working with the developer and months of waiting for it to get better, nothing has. The game constantly freezes and we loose rewards. Very frustrating because. We really like this game when it works.
We like this game so much that it pains us to have to relate the following. After multiple transactions for add-ons to the game, we are convinced that the company had a problem with over billing, either accidentally or on purpose. We know, fool us once etc. Nevertheless, on multiple occasions, we have been charged up to more than twice the listed price for the bundle in question. (our credit card notifies us in near real time to charges put on our card). When we contacted Ilyon about this previously, the best they could do was suggested that Apple was bundling multiple charges to one transaction which is ludicrous.
The game is not offering us any chance to get three more moves out of it. It often makes us repeat levels up to 10 and 20 times even after we have won the level, causing us to have to use up all of our boosters. It does no good to complain that it feels like the game is rigged. We have two iPads, and a cell phone that we play on. The cell phone gives us absolutely no chance to win extra moves, one iPad allows us to earn three extra moves, and the other iPad allows us to earn up to nine extra moves. There is no consistency in that manner in the game.
Everyone! Try this game you will love it. Hours f fun.
When we downloaded Cubes Empire, it was super fun and engaging. You could see where you dropped the ball and why you didnt move up a level. Over these 2 years, they increased the difficulty level to a point that now, even the easiest level is hard. Sometimes you lose several moves because the game doesnt give you the super tools or it simply keeps you clicking in the same corner. We understand you gotta spend if you want to move forward. But now you have to spend a loooot more than before. Im done. Better delete. The graphs are fine. The idea is neat. It just isnt fun as before.
The levels are either too easy or really hard. The hard and extreme levels are nearly impossible to win. Its not fun anymore.
We really enjoy playing this game! Levels are challenging and so much fun! Great stress reliever.
Ive never left a review for a game before but we couldnt let this one go. This is a game that is made for all ages yet its showing ads that are for adults. Completely disgusting and inappropriate for any child to see. The game itself isnt even very good and has so many ads its not enjoyable to play. Deleting now. We refuse to have something on our phone that is grooming our children.
It is so boring we thought it would be fun, but we guess its pretty bad.
As you progress into the high 170 levels it gets absolutely pointless to play given so many obstacles to rid from the board before you can clear it and progress to the next level. Another player thought same as ours, points at end of level dont matter so why bother giving points to players if there is no benefit. Purchased coins for bonus explosions, wasted $6.99 dont be fooled they amount to nothing combinations still do nothing for progression. 180 is impossible so we purchased coins to accumulate bonus explosions, still u cannot clear the obstacles preventing progress using 3, 4, 5, or 6 in combination they shoot crap away from the direction needed. What a joke, please dont let the rip you off too.

We really enjoy this app but the ads often freeze and we actually have to restart our phone to get it to work again. If not for that, we would give it five stars.
Why, why, why? Ive played for years and enjoyed it so much as a relaxing respite in the evenings. Ive been playing tonight, not having to think about a trouble in the world a political ad came on! The first Ive seen on this game after all this time. The news is so full of tirade and diatribe from politicians trying to make us all hate each other. With a background in political science, this is the last thing we want to see as we kick back at night. Please stop. We will no longer play this game until end of January 2025. Bye folks.
Love this game. Positively our favorite game ever! Phenomenal! One time our game glitched and jacked us. The game caught it and gave us 5 lives and a small coin award. That NEVER happens.
We have been playing this game for over one year. We really like the game although it is kind if boring playing the same levels multiple times. We get even more irritated when we are repeating a previous played level that we oaud for extra enhancements (bombs, color wheels, hammers, etc.) in order to win the level when previously played. But we guess it comes down to making as much money as possible . We have also experienced, on multiple occasions, where the app crashes. In addition to crashing we have experienced the app locking, especially when we received a phone call in the midst of playing the game. Otherwise, we enjoy playing the game and we look forward to future updates.
We absolutely love this game. Im so addicted. Its our we just wish we didnt have to wait for our lives to refill.
We purchased this app on our iPhone, but on our iPad, the ad free version does not appear. It keeps showing ads after every game or two. Ive deleted and reinstalled the app a couple times, and made sure we were connected with Facebook. Any help will be appreciated. Fun game, the ads, not so much.
