Quick and easy word puzzle beats watching TV.
We got addicted pretty quickly. We dont usually spend money on apps but figured since we play so much we would spring for the lifetime of no ads for $20 (which is a lot for an app). Major downside is that it doesnt get rid of ALL ads (like other games Ive played)- just forced ones. So still have to watch ads when playing a new crossword or getting coins. Probably wouldnt have spent the money if we knew that. A small negative is that a lot of words/answers are reused.
So many ads. Its a good game but ads galore.
We enjoy the games. It does not have a landscape orientation.
Love it but it repeatedly locks up, requiring we close and reopen, and reenter several answers previously entered. Tried updating, no improvement.
We have played every day for years. The more we play the worse the ads get. An ad before every puzzle and an ad after every puzzle almost.the google ads are the worst, you have to watch the same little ad many times in a row with no way to x out. We really like the puzzles, but the ads are getting ridiculous. After years Im thinking about deleting the app. If you have the time and dont mind the ads this is a great puzzle app.
Not sure what changed, Ive used this app for years, but your ads are now coming up on top volume even with the toggle to mute on the device. The only way to make sure these ads dont get you in trouble is to make sure your volume is all the way down as well as your ringer switch being off. Please fix this before someone gets fired for playing with this app! Thanks.
The amount of ads you have to watch to play this game are crazy regardless of how many coins you have to play ,some ads open your browser or your App Store and will not let you X out ,its so annoying and frustrating,makes a good game stressful to play.
Ads interrupt the app constantly. We downloaded the crossword puzzle app to have a mindful deep dive, not to watch or pay to get rid of ads. Im not clicking on them, so you might as well get rid of them. We would probably pay if it meant a more challenging or interesting crossword without ads, but these crossword puzzles are way too easy to pay for.
We were told by our Dr many years ago to do crossword puzzles daily for our brain health. We were unable to find easy enough books (pre-computer days) to work for our needs. He told us to just use childrens puzzles if we could find nothing else. Just the act of doing it, searching your mind, does the job. THIS app is the BEST that we have found. We do all three puzzles when we have time and we can definitely see our brain improvement. And it is Because of this app.

Its nice to play crosswords than scroll endlessly like you would on other apps. They need to make a difficult version to make it challenging for the longtime users.

Ginger Galore Puzzle had a lot of words you said were words without a vowel. Those words all had a y and the letter y becomes the vowel. The letter y will become the vowel and make the sound of an a, an e, and an we. It was a fun puzzle.
Too many ads but other then that we enjoy crossword puzzles and our son and we enjoy doing them together.
4 of the same words, with the same clue on 4 different puzzles, within the first 3 days of us downloading. They think im stupid.
The ads on this game have gotten way too long. Im going to delete the game due to the length of the ads.

We enjoy the puzzles, but wonder what the app is doing in the background that makes the iPad unresponsive. Is the app accessing personal information that it shouldnt or are there software issues.
Get the ads that you can not get out off without shutting down our iPad! Does not enhance the game! Example, Candy Crush, Mountain Dew! Candy Crush is even worse, goes to Google , to Apps, and wants you to load it more than once.

We love this app. We are a senior and playing this app everyday keeps our mind sharp. The only problem is there are way to many ads that you have to wade thru just to play.
About 3 out of four puzzles use what is basically the same clue and answer many times. Egyptian snake – ASP appears almost every puzzle as well as SPA, Yak its like they are not really trying . If you play for a while you will see what we mean.
If you love ads, this is the app for you! Ads pop up all the time. Even if you click out of some ads, the game takes to the ad site anyway. We like playing the puzzles but we dont like being bombarded with ads.
