Thoroughly enjoyable. No cookie cutter game here. Dont feel as though they used a same ol matrix from past games. We’ve been a bit bored with that. This one is great. Thanks for all your efforts on this one. Mighty good Ps. We would love to be able to skip PART of a puzzle like say there are three portions to the puzzle. Nice to be able to skip one and have stray at the rest ?? Also another nice feature we’ve seen on other games its a hint in the food of a short demo because sometimes its just not clear what to do but if given a short sample vid?? We and Ill bet some other folk have trouble with reading comprehension. One task can be explained many different ways depending on many factors such as culture and intellect level thanks again Im king to look for your other games in this genre. It was so very enjoyable. The graphics were a feast for the eyes and we usually skip the cut scenes but not here. Watched then all they were so captivating. Grand job you all.
Interesting story, not too dark, but definitely has witchcraft elements, almost too much. Has beautiful graphics and some amazing cut scenes. Some games are too hard and some hops are too easy but thats okay. You can skip the hard ones. Not sure about the connection with Goldilocks and the three bears -has lots of bear elements if that was it combined with some sort of Midas touch. Blessings!

We adore the Dark Parable games and all the negative reviews really had us worried. We were afraid this game wasn’t going to be as good as the others… So far it definitely is. Dark Parables are different than other HO games in that the graphics are always amazing! The game play is a little different than a typical HO game but that doesn’t take away from the game for us. If you are a Dark Parables fan then this game will be a great addition to your collection.

The visuals in this game were very nicely done. We bought the game at a sale price of $2.99 & it was well worth the price for such a lengthy game. The puzzles and HOP games were a bit mundane because there were several repetitions for the puzzles and we prefer the hidden object picture games to be of the multiple tasks to gather an object type, but it didn’t take much away from the story or the fun of the game itself. We always read reviews when deciding whether or not to buy a game (even on sale since we don’t usually have a large amount available to drop on games) & one of the things we search for most is length of gameplay… All in all, this one was well worth the price we paid and it gave us something to do during the "free time" we had during the last 3-4 days. Very enjoyable.
There are some places where the controls are a bit wonky, but it doesn’t stop the game at all. None of the puzzles are tedious. We did get impatient and use frequent hints, but that’s what casual mode is for, eh? ;)
We love this series. The artwork is simply stunning. There is an actual storyline. The game is long and well worth $6.99, but a total deal at $2.99. Thank you BF. However, we don’t care for the simplicity of the puzzles/minigames. Seen it, been there, done it. We also cannot stand this style of HO areas. Dark Parables, Dance Macabre and Myths of The World are our three favorite HOPAs. All we can continue to do is to thank EIPIX for really making all of the 2017 games in so many different series, just that much better, by making them less repetitive and more difficult. We also love, in the newer versions, that you can customize your difficulty level. That’s simple enough it would seem, but to us it’s simply ingenious! Well done EIPIX from a loyal fan. Good length, and thank the gods for the mapping system. We enjoyed the unusual HO scenes. The story was , well, ridiculous. The puzzles were very skippable unless youre a masochist. Dont let our weird review keep you away… But buy it on sale.
Hi, we’re retired, and play these games to keep our mind active. This will be one of our favorites. The story is imaginative, and the graphics are beautiful! The mini games are challenging, and require various skills. We confess, even in casual we had to skip a few. A few criticisms; the HOP’s differ in that the objects build three sections of some article, and towards the end, the story got a little mixed up for us.
We like the games that need puzzle pieces to be located rather than the typical HO. This game has great elements with just a few draw backs. The artwork is confusing to look at due to contrast between foreground and background. It’s difficult to understand what your seeing. The storyline is also confusing. Am we missing who the good guys are? Overall, we are enjoying the challenge.
Cant finish the bonus game because the game keeps crashing. And when playing the hidden objects portion anything thats a ring will give you an X unless you hit exactly the right part… Very often we received an X while the part was being moved.
The graphics are dark and cannot find objects. It could have been clearer. So much work went into this game but the results were poor.
Horrible game. The HO scenes are the "find the pieces" type, which we don’t like at all. Trying to figure out where to go and when is beyond entertaining. It’s annoying. The puzzles are okay. The map allows teleporting. We completed the free trial, just to see if it got better. It didn’t. Even using your inventory items was a hit or miss. No logic. We wouldn’t waste our money on this one. Too bad, too, because the graphics are lovely.

We quit after the first interactive puzzle – it was so juvenile it’s ridiculous. Dressing the three bears in large puzzle pieces… After easily finding them behind Blues Clues furniture?? Are you serious?? (Play any of the Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst series to see the basics of an interactive game: challenging, interesting and FUN.) The overall game was way to simple and boring.
Music and volume doesnt work. Takes up a ton of phone space to not even have working volume. Takes a lot away from the game. Bummer.
