Loved this game (really loved it), nice to see you gradually turn it into a money grab, wish we could have the old version still. Tried starting a new character and the changes are obviously only about creating cash grab mechanics and not actual improvements. This game change was very saddening, please no generic response. Sad enough seeing a gem turned into hot trash.
We enjoy the game very much, but would love it if we could fast travel between safe houses, because when we get to a new zone, it takes too long to get to one of the previous ones and we leave behind a lot of stuff. Or if they could also sport a shared inventory something nice like that.
Been playing for a year or so and its been really fun .
We love the way this game plays. It starts out challenging at the beginning as you learn how to survive in a post apocalyptic Russia, and progressively gets more difficult as you master the skills to survive. We usually shun online playing (this game gives the option for both online and offline) but the well moderated message board allows players to help each other and build a real camaraderie. We originally played this game on our android phone and when we switched to apple we bought it again. Its the only purchased game on our device. You can play the entire game for free, but the small cost to go premium is worth it.
Love the game. But if Im playing for any length of time, we would be more likely to keep playing if we could listen to music, podcast, etc while playing.
Everything in the game right now is great but our only complaint is that with rad and how there are no easy ways early game to get rid of them.
This game is one of the best mobile games we’ve played, the Bryansk mission is confusing though, it wants us to get a musket but you cant make a musket, you have to BUY it with caps, which is something we dont want to do. But apart from that, this game is very fun and the developers should continue to work on it.
Congratulations to the developers. Please take a giant steamy crap in one hand and clap really hard because you did it you actually did it. You took a one of a kind fun and incredible game and turn it to crap. Because of your freaking GREED it is impossible to play now. You can keep your pathetic generic and pre-scripted response.
If any devs read this we could use some help we updated the game on our iPhone and it completely broke the New Years event textures we have tryed to reach out to support via email however when we attempt to send the email we get notified that the email address is not valid.
Hi, we’ve been so excited for the Christmas update. It never came out. Is it only for the original Day R? Please add it to this version of the game.
We wish it was easier to progress in game and the difficulty of rads is getting crazy. Hopefully the rads can die down a little.
This game used to be amazing but it is no longer enjoyable and the purchase scheme they have now seems to be aimed at deceiving ppl like the titanium tool set that shows no use limit until u spend a large sum of money then it shows that everything breaks after 1 k uses and that is after u have paid for the premium game. Well we learned our lesson not putting another cent into this game. Until there are major changes to this game dont bother with it.
Well, in the middle of writing our review, it miraculously disappeared. Before that happens again let us just say we like the game up till version 723, but then it became too difficult. We were working to achieve level 65 and was almost there and we’ve gone down to about level 57. Some items will become way too expensive others to become valueless. We have been trying to adapt to the new situation, but it is quite frustrating available tips and weapons descriptions are almost nonexistent for a single player of a casual nature. As far as the workings of the game go, we do find them quite interesting and intriguing.
We were playing this game since release. This last update ruined it. We were okay with the game getting more difficult, but now all the even items have been nerfed. The ungodly amount of resources that went into our hunters garb is insane. All to be lost and put to 50 armor. It was over 1500. The game is pay to win now, and we wont check it out until another update to these changes. Good job devs. You messed up.
It’s a fun game. We are addicted to it all day, but you update it too slowly. We hope the author can update the game as soon as possible. Thank you.
Its gone the route of Last Day on Earth, changing crafting recipes to need more materials and materials you have to grind for. Added zones you have to pay to enter. And most infuriating, nerfing gear from past events- (Hunter Hook, Helsing Crossbow) stuff you had to grind to get and grind more to upgrade And as of the newest patch, making you grind again yo get them back to the level you had. Screw the Devs. Get a hacked version and dont give a cent to these crooks.
We’ve played this game since 2017, it continues to get better and better. Well done and well worth the price.
We know how ridiculous this may sound, but this game once had a gentle fire crackling sound when you would start a fire. Whenever we were stressed out in real life, we would open the game and start a fire and do other stuff. The ambience was so calming, and it made us want to play the game for hours. Now the sound of the camp fire doesnt sound the same, and sounds too sparky/harsh. Everything else about this game is great, but that fire sound (along with other sounds that got changed), were part of the reason we kept playing this game. Sad to see these changes were made.
Before this newest update, the game was still very grindy but it was a lot of fun. Then this new update released and the game is completely unplayable.
Im a longtime player of this game. Its so much fun. We love the challenging aspects like combat and resource management such as food and water. Its all around a fun game and no complaints.
This used to be a good game until the creator completely messed up the balance. Now 1000 litres of fuel will only get you down the block. It is just trash. Wish we could download the original again.
The latest update is terrible and has ruined the game dont play.
Its a great game, interesting survival mechanics, good story (even though some things are a tiny bit politically incorrect but hey) we have some suggestions, Maybe adding more melee weapons? Like scrap swords and Maybe making the nail club stun the opponent or Maybe take away an action point (just a suggestion). Another suggestion is Maybe adding a side quest that Maybe is centered around a group from America, maby exploring there side of the story and how that group was affected by the war, and Maybe as a award for completing the quest you Maybe get an American weapon like a 1911 or a M16 or some gimmicky and goofy armor like a Uncle Sam themed armor. Or possibly a town in the Japan island that is just mountains atm. We just thought these would be some cool ideas you might like to maybe use as inspiration for future updates or projects, we just really enjoy your game and really wanted to give you some ideas if you wanted any.
Probably one of the best mobile games made, pretty sure it was made by the same devs who made the og fallout, which is why the game is similar to it. In case you didnt know, they updated the game a lot over the years and its changed a ton, we gotta admit we miss the old day r, we like some of the new changes, but a lot we dont like. Id give it 5 stars, but its just not as good as it used to be.
If you like survival games, this is a must. So polished and awesome. Addicting.
Since the update 3 days ago, we cant play online. It says to sign in, but the button keeps loading without doing anything.
No Nails for flint hatchet. This doesnt even make sense from any logical standpoint. If youre looking for a use for nails find them somewhere else because NO. Other than that this is an amazingly beautiful game. Fix. This and the review goes to 5 stars.
Liked the remaking of the crafting system, and the revamp of the trading towns. The loot and crafting system seem to balance each other much better as well. The storyline is reworked extensively, which we think makes sense. We dont like the forced checkpoints of this storyline however, needing to reach level 25 for instance, and the quests in the bar taking up to at least an hour to refresh (the quickest). Seems odd to us as developers to want to force people off of your game. Also the increased scarcity of bike parts seems odd. Why would bikes be hard to find? Enjoying the update thus far. Will edit the review as needed.
This game is one of the very few mobile games we have personally taken with us or as long as we can remember having it. With a remarkable story line and plenty to keep you occupied it just blows our mind. And we’ve been playing this game since we were a freshman in high school!! Best game we’ve played in a long time on mobile.
We’ve been playing this game for a loooong time, and it has changed and improved so much over the years! We are constantly impressed by the new content and design upgrades. Big fan keep it up.
We absolutely love this game and its really our only mobile game we only wish that there was some sort of creative/cheat mode you could use in the single player game other than that absolutely love it(also wish they would bring back the different types of xp like mechanics xp chemistry xp etc)
When we were making salted fish for a quest. We made 20 salted fish and it just disappeared and our quest didnt even get turned in. Can you fix this bug please.
We’ve played this game off and on for years, bought it both on Android & iPhone. The developer still works on the game so kudos to that. With each change there is good and bad, but overall the game has gotten better. Latest update introduces random quests from bases to go along with the main quedt. That part is fine, but you don’t level up enough as the game progresses. So as you work on the main quest, you get to bases that require a higher level to even get the random quests. Pretty much broken at this point.
We have been playing on Android and recently switched to iOS and turns out we cant transfer our progress of 2 years to iOS, no fun restarting over, also new update nerfed everything and made it worse.
The story is immersive and honestly we cant write everything we like down so Im just gonna say that we would invest $1000 dollars if we could.
First,Please Release Update the same time with Normal version,.. We cant play preminum it said .. OutdatedPlease Update the game.. Second.. Three weapon is not enoughFour is set enough Third and last. Please Bring some new things. We never bored of playing this game.
Even though we have premium, we cant use both our raven and wolf-dog like we used to, even when theyre both healthy and well-fed. We dont know if its different now, but it would be nice to use both pets. Also, our game has been crashing ever since the version 708 update, and it would be nice if you guys fixed that :(
Loved everything about this game until they added the timed quests absolutely ruined it for us thanks for years of fun before.
We have been playing this game for years. It is by far the best survival game/simulator out there. Unfortunately, the developers seem to be trying to make the game harder with each new release. We dont mind a challenge, but give us more to do and work with not less. Every new release takes some game item or skill away rather than adding new abilities. Does anybody remember sewing machines? We can make alcohol but not rope. We can build a forge but we cannot evaporate sea water for salt. The developers want to control your success by controlling certain commodities. Every new release is a take away. So what happened to tool benches and apple trees that did not have to be replanted with each harvest, several kinds of armor, the ability to save a game in progress, using more than one pet at a time, etc. If you must take away something, and we wish you would stop, give us something new to work on. Replacing known skills or equipment with random perks or barter systems is not fun. You have a great system here. Let players have fun who have put a lot of time into developing their skills and bases.
This game WAS amazing, it was a true survival sandbox. After the resent update, however, the devs have nerfed everything that made it fun, made the game even easier to survive and turned it into a grind quests every 5 hours game. So, will you like it if you are new? Maybe. But after 6 years we can definitely say the new version will not live up to the praise of most previous reviews.
Im on this game for a couple years now and noticed that the developers occasionally change it up a bit. Makes it fun to try and get through it again. The last update needs some adjusting though. Food and torches are consumed slowlyWhile respiration devices seem to burn through quickly.
This latest update is the worse ever. Dont like anything. Dont like the map, point system, choice between pets, inability to build bigger vehicles, all our markers are different. We mean we like absolutely nothing about it, even worse: we have this game on android and we have the nuclear truck but we went to IOS and we cant continue that game.
We started playing day r about 3-4 years ago and played on and off over the years, the devs keep changing the game to increase the revenue they make, The games is still fun but after this latest update it just goes to show that they dont truly listen to the players who have been with them for a while.

We have reviewed this game before and our sentiments were disappointment and basically anger at the devs. We were mad at the fact that everything had changed, we had lost structures and vehicles, etc. Those are rightful causes for annoyance we think, but to be honest, we dont care anymore. This is now and was a long time ago our favorite game on mobile. It has options for single player and online multiplayer, they are both the same except online is better. The way the devs have changed the game is perfect, and we love the game even more now then we did years ago. The game greets you with an amazing storyline, (I would personally love to shake the hand of the writer, absolutely incredible creativity and work!) the storyline takes you through your progression in the game and gives you quests and explanations to help you move faster through progression. The searching system is very well done, we think better than the old one by far, the map is massive and you always have somewhere new to go. Combat and weapons are very well balanced and entertaining, even though its 2d(just give it a try, youll like it.) The game is very grindy but in a way that keeps you fresh and entertained, and unlike most mobile games they do not stuff ads in your face every 2 seconds. The game is not remotely pay to win, other than premium which is very fair and cheap. The atmosphere created by the music and sounds is on another level for a mobile game. We know this is getting lengthy, but we have nothing better to do other than wait in excitement for this new update with factions and stuff to come out. SPOILERS Read at your own risk So in the ending that brat Sasha decides that bandits are the only hope and to diss her father. Perhaps if you added a part two that fills in the 4-6 year span that the main character agent through before forgetting everything. Even better if it includes Sasha. Other than that great game mechanics and story. But nearly quit the game after that stunt. If you dont want to change it, then ADD TO IT. Id love to see some more text based quests too. Those were fun to do.
We love it. Im on our 3rd play thru and was had been very different. Play without premium is like being intellectually edged. You have to pay careful attention to what you do and consider all the info and options before making a move because everything you do has consequences. We bought premium because Im a sucker for an animal companion but it is still challenging and the loot boxes are not very common and often filled with random stuff that isnt helpful at the moment but you have to remember where it is in case you need it later. All in all premium does not make you feel like your cheating, its still a tough game that takes skill but is just slightly less stressful.
