Death Road to Canada is a Randomly Generated Road Trip Action-RPG. You manage a group of jerks as they explore cities, find weird people, and face up to 500 zombies at once. Everything’s randomized: locations, events, survivor personalities and skills. There’s a different story every time you play.
Travel the Death Road from Florida to Canada, the last nation on Earth. Find special events, rare encounters, and unique recruits. Recruit a grunting super-bodybuilder who’s strong enough to pick up and throw the car. Try to teach a dog how to walk upright and shoot a minigun.
Most of all, get eaten by enormous hordes of slow, classic-style zombies.

This is a truly large update! Here’s a summary of changes, because otherwise we’d easily hit the character limit in these patch notes.
- Added new Halloween Event stuff!
- Greatly extended the time period the Halloween Event covers. Before it would only happen on Halloween itself, and now it will last from the launch of the update all the way up to Nov 1st!
- Big revamp to how your AI Followers value different weapon categories and tiers! Short version: They should no longer drop a Claymore for a Tennis Racket, ever
- Lots and lots of new character customization options, both base and unlockable
- New ZP upgrades to get!
- Series of ZP upgrades that let you buy from Tnomey multiple times in one game!
- 12 new zombie head types!
- Duffle bag added, which lets you access your Trunk in Trader Camps where you don’t have a car, or in the new Indoor-Only trader camps
- New Rare Trading Camp: Final Hospital, featuring a really good hospital food cafeteria and the Golden Scalpel

- New Rare Trading Camp: Mechanical Fortress
- Two new and powerful robot special characters, designed by Professor Sycamore!

Amazing game but co op online would be awesome.
It took us like 2 years to finally beat it lol. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is because something weird is happening in our game. The game wont let us move. No matter what we try to do. And we’ve made a lot of progress on the game so we dont want to delete it and redownload.
DRTC has to be our favorite game. We return to it again and again. But periodically, the movement control for the player character stops working, making the game unplayable. Im having that experience now. :<
Its a great game but Im not sure why the dev neglected to add such a basic feature.
This game is so fun but there is a glitch for iPhone that MAKES THE GAME UNPLAYABLE. What it is the joysticks for the game GOES OFF SCREEN!! This makes the game NOT PLAYABLE it has happen to us 3 TIMES and we had to delete the game and it reset ALL MY PROGRESS so PLEASE fix it. Also we really like the game but if you dont fix it we CANT PLAY IT.
The game is definitely worth $15, thats without a doubt. The amount of time and effort put into this game to deliver it this close to pristine on mobile is pretty insane. Our ONLY issue though is how ANNOYING the goddamn movement is in this game with mobile. It feels so incredibly janky at times when youre trying to do a 180 and go straight up or down and the movement is insanely important for survival in this game, you dont want to mess it up. If youve ever played project zomboid on PC, youre movement failing when weaving around hordes in this game is just as fatal as your movement failing when you weave around zombies and hordes in Zomboid, if it messes up, youre completely screwd. We wish there was a way, other than the poorly defined options in the option menu, to make it smoother to move around. Trying to learning curve around it, is really starting to get infuriating because in the later stages of the game, the second you mess up your direction, youre done.
It needs ICloud Synchronization, we would love if our game across our phone and IPad were synced.
Sound works just fine but no music ,the music option button is grey.
We feel like this game is as fine-tuned and crafted as love as it gets from the developers. It comes with a hefty price tag but honestly is worth every penny. The game offers endless customization, and replay-ability. Theres different modes to unlock, different traits and perks, and much more. The things we dont like are the difficulty. Its meant to be mega-hard but the devs need to understand not every likes games like that. Give people the ability to customize their play through difficulty and we promise the devs wouldve seen a better response to this game. Another way they lack is they have the perfect games to support mods, but we dont see any mod support at all for mobile. While the games that do offer mod support for mobile are very few and far in between (I offer rebuild 3 as an example of a game that DOES), we feel like mods would make this game so much more fun. Its meant to be endlessly replayable, and if you allow people to mod the game and the player the choice to choose their play through more uniquely, we promise youd see a rise in popularity in this game. This has the potential to be like the Skyrim of mobile games.
It was on sale on Xbox for $7 bought it tried it out and decided to get it on our iPhone for $14 too pricey. This game would kill time on airline flights during airplane mode.
All we ever want was a good feeling game with strategy and this game is a good mobile strategy game that help us in boring school day thank you dev and please update the game again.
We love this game, its amazing, funny, and an overall blast to enjoy. However, there is one problem, not with the game, but when we decide to connect our controller. We use an Xbox controller and when we connect it, the game recognizes the controller, highlighting text that we can choose, but none of the buttons work, in game we can only attack, and in menu we can only click the option highlighted. If the devs could please add proper controller support, that would be amazing! Thanks for reading our review :D.
Game is fantastic. Very important question… Why isnt there an iCloud backup for this game? We switched phones and we have to start all over. We really dont like that! Can you guys add a mode where we can save our data?
We ABSOLUTELY love this game, in fact its okay in our list of TOP 10 Favorite Games. We mean the sheer comedy action packed with zombies, cameos and Easter Eggs its just awesome! Our point is that it continuously changes, with a different experience at every gameplay. It becomes an obsession to collect all the endings, events, weapons, characters and so forth and so one. No to finish it, the point of this game is not to make you wonder the destination, that is already pretty obvious from the title, but the adventures, the experience, the friendships and the memories you carry to that destination.
If we find multiplayer Im never clicking it would ruin the experience. The npcs are better keep it this way.
We love this game and its just our style, but Im concerned about what will happen to our progress when we get a new device. Both our phone and iPad are linked to the same game center account, but progress is not shared between them (when we make progress on our iPad it does not go to our phone). What can we do? When we click the skull button it just tells us Im linked to our game center account and doesnt give us an option to unlink and relink.
We’ve never played a game so addictive in our life . We had our doubt at first and honestly was a little mad we spent so much on this game but after we actually played we realized the true greatness of this game.

We love the game but we usually play with a remote but recently the game stopped working with the remote and all our other games are fine.
We can play this game for 4hrs and still not be bored. The first time you make it to Canada feels like heaven. The fact that the game allows you to you a double barrel shotgun as a screaming pug while driving an ice cream truck is spectacular. We recommend this game, 5.

Fun, quirky and unforgiving, DR2C is a gem of a game, with procedurally generated challenges that ensure you never play the same game twice. You will not make it to Canada often. You will have a lot of fun along the way, though.
It might be hard starting off but you learn with time. Endless replay-ability is off the charts. There are probably more different combinations of events you have every game then atoms in the universe.
You cannot argue, this is the most fun and replayable mobile game out there.
Death road to Canada is a fun game that is pixel-y and has a lot of blood and gore, but it is all animated and fun to play. The game is like Oregon trail and we still have not Beaten the game yet and it has ZOMBO POINTS, and those are very special in the game but we are not going to tell you any more about the game you will have to play it your self and give the have a good rating please!!! We would say it is the best pixel zombie game you could play . Play it and see for your self. Thanks and enjoy the mega hard game that we still cant beat!
This is one of those games that you just always come back to, as a walking dead/zombies fan this game was perfect for us to drift off into another world for a short amount of time. The game is well put together, no bugs that we’ve experienced and it runs great on most phones. The devs constantly come back and make the game better, we are surprised this game is so cheap if we are completely honest. The game is just a great investment and we can safely say we will play this game for many years to come, maybe not every day, but for years to come.

We were initially looking for a game that we could play outside the country where we had no internet access or in road trips, and found this masterpiece of a game. The text and the dialogues keep us very entertained and we keep finding new things even tho we’ve been playing this for years.
Pretty Decent Game Have Been playing since middle school all the way to highschool, pretty fun game and good to play when you have no wifi. Another thing is that its randomized every time so it feels like a new game and theres alot of weapons.
Please for the love of god, add a static joystick. Most runs end because of the stupid movement controls.
We accidentally bought this game thinking it was free and just instinctively used our thumbscan, and Im not sure how to contact for support.
So how do you play multiplayers on the mobile device? We’ve search everywhere how to do it and so far we’ve only found videos with someone using wireless controllers that are bluetooth. Which allows you to play with someone else. But we want to play with someone is isnt sitting right next to us without extra controls just our phone and the app itself Im playing on. And the description for the game doesnt explain that we would need extra controls to do that etc. But Is there a way we could play without extra controls?

Maybe the controls werent optimized for iPad. Its amusing, but in spite of giving it a good try… Probably 10 campaigns, we have to conclude that it simply wasnt fun. Im playing on 12.9 inch iPad Pro, and maybe thats the culprit, but it felt a lot more like fighting the controls than zombies. We just never felt like we were easily doing what we wanted to do. It never became second nature. In games like these, you want to forget about the controls and just play, but we always felt like we needed to be conscious of where our hands were… We tried a bunch of progressively less and less ergonomic positions. We couldnt play with our thumbs. The best was leaning over the screen with two index fingers, which isnt fun in its own right. The retro graphics are fine, but pretty lazy too. You cant tell if you’re holding a kart or pushing a cart from the graphics. You just have to sort of infer it from the motion. Overall, it just felt sort of floaty and disconnected. We like the premise, but the core loop of the gameplay… The fundamental act of running around, hitting stuff, picking things up, etc. Just felt sort of labored and tedious. It could be that the scaling to the larger screen wasnt accounted for? Maybe moving is based on a motion delta as a percent of screen space where move left means move your finger 1/4 of an inch on a phone but a full 3/4 of an nice on iPad? Maybe the size of the buttons scaled the other way, where its taking up 1/10th of the screen on iPhone for a big button thats hard to miss, . Vs 1/50th of the screen on iPad for a tiny button thats easy to miss? We dont know exactly. Maybe other gamers simply werent as bothered as we were… It just felt mostly frustrating to us.
We have had this game for a month and our game is now glitching we cant move our characters into prime missions or trader outpost please help.
This game is just ok. If you like Organ Trail youll probably like this because its basically the same game with a spit polish. Our biggest problem with this game is that it is ridiculously overpriced! We mean, we bought Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for $9.99 and thats one of the best video games that has ever been made. If DRTC was, like, $5 it would be perfectly reasonable. In closing, save your money; this game is not worth what theyre asking for it.
We used to love this game and bought it on our Samsung and our new iPhone. We got so far in the game to the point where we unlocked the ultra rare characters mode where you basically can start with any special character you want. So, ofc with having pretty much everything we deleted the game and took a break. Few months past and we come back but no progress has been saved what so ever. We have all our achievements but none of the game modes that we’ve unlocked and won have been saved. PLS FIX. TLDR: Lost all our hard earned progress pls fix or explain why guys.
This game is extremely annoying and finds so many different ways to completely ruin your run, feel impossible to beat when your members are just randomly disappearing for no reason, and of course the game makes you stop the run due to the disappearance of your members which you have no control over. This game is annoyingly rigged and bad overall.
Controller support is very crappy. Controls are bad, the lighting and audio are bad.
We are currently experiencing sound issues from first install? We will reinstall and update this post as applicable but we are on a Iphone 6s. We would also like modifiable button sizes, maybe dead zone turning capability? Genuinely sorry for rating 1 star the game runs about as well as the pc version and besides this game is amazing, we would appreciate if we’re being listened to more skins and customizable options if it was possible for the female models but we understand.(update:add cats 5/21/2021)
The controls are hot garbage with touch screen. Sometimes our character will just stop moving for no reason or other times get stuck on furniture or invisible walls. Im not sure if its game collision or something else but one of the most frustrating things in games is when you cant control your character. Sorry but plenty of mobile games have decent movement on touch screen, this game has no excuse.
The joystick in this game is dependent on where your finger first touches the screen, but it is very poorly implemented so you constantly have to readjust and have a hard time moving how you want. It must not be a problem for most, given the reviews, but it breaks this $14 game for us. Add a static joystick so we can actually play it.
For $15 this game gives you the option to play a million times. We’ve personally sunk in dozens of hours just playing this game on our phone. The game offers really satisfying gameplay and funny dialogue choices in events. The fact that an iphone is able to handle hundreds of zombies on the screen is baffling to mean, and that is without any sort of stuttering or frame drop. If youre interested in playing a fun rpg oregon trail type of game and has the $15 to spare, we highly recommend picking this game up. For those that complain about controls, you could make it like a joystick by tweaking the settings in the menus. And if you want to cheat a little in the game there is a exploit where if you close out the game and restart it would reset to the previous event you were at and let you pick your choices again. We think this exploit allows you to explore more and let you have more fun and not really rely on rng too much.
This has to be the best ported console/pc game to phone ever. We have had this game for years, and the devs constantly add new features and game modes. Easy 5/5.
Great game, been having a blast, but there are a few bugs we’ve noticed, all based on the anime fan trait 1. When we use it with trademark weapon, we end up with no weapons at all and we end up with only two usable slots 2. We dont get the bonus stuff when we buy the windstar Its a great game though, 10/10 cannot recommend enough.
