There were too many jumpy parts. It gave us motion sickness. But it looks like the game could be a winner.

These games have nice art, but the English translation frequently poor. Even when its passable, there are many grammatical errors. Hire somebody to edit the scripts.

This game has been great, until we’ve gotten to a hidden object portion that wont let us collect the ace of spades. Please refund us or fix this.

You can always count on Artifex to release long beautiful and clever mini games within their games! We’ve been a fan since Time Mysteries and Enigmatis, almost 10 years now. So thankfully your group is still together and producing games that will not disappoint!

This is one of the worst games ever. We have downloaded this game at least 6 times and every time it crashes before we can even enter our name in the player line. We have this same problem with almost all the Artifex Munda games that we have purchased. If we could get our money back (over $200) we would.

We personally experienced No glitches. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed this game. Great believable character voiceovers, with many tasks to perform. There are 2 collectibles in each scene, one which is morphing – always fun & a plus in our book. Loved the graphics as well as the storyline. We preferred this style and story over other games previously released by this developer. Hidden object scenes were at times interactive and puzzles were fun – some of them being quite different. We felt this game was well worth the price offered – not only for the length, enjoyment and the overall gaming experience. We hope to see more of this quality from Artifex and release of more New games frequently. Thank you Artifex for the Great enjoyment that we experienced! Highly recommend picking this one up!!! KdBoots.

We love it it is cool that a hand make you drops the key and that a girl jumps out when you get in the house and thank you for making this game it is so awesome.

Update as of 04/11/19: "Strange" things are going on at the Strange’s Museum of Mysticism and Monstrosity; and you, equipped with superior paranormal investigative abilities, are called in to solve the mystery of a tourist’s disappearance. The theme of the plot is indistinct; however, the storyline is well written and maintains our attention. We like playing from a male’s perspective, a rare opportunity, and we’re often laughing at his sarcastic remarks about what’s going on around him. The haunting atmosphere is omnipresent, as the macabre visuals such as headless mannequins; ghastly statues of hooded, robed figures, holding scythes; and grotesque shrunken heads terrify us within every corner of the museum. The verbal taunts by menacing demonic entities create a sense of trepidation within myself that something evil awaits our presence. The graphics, although dark, are attention-grabbing. This developer is known for creating high-quality, praiseworthy graphics, which we clearly see here. The illustrations are enhanced by finely rendered details to achieve a realistic portrayal of the environment. Inventory usage is playful, as you are sometimes required to solve puzzles. This game delivers a heavy dose of assorted HOSs, which are thematically presented. The coloration is dark, though, making it tedious at times to find smaller, well-hidden objects. Most of the puzzles are not difficult to solve, although this doesn’t diminish their entertaining value. They are varied and numerous; one such type is to swap eyeballs between slots, making sure one of each type of eyeball is set within each column and row. We came across two sets of collectibles within each scene; one set comprises morphing objects. The prequel chapter unlocks upon completion of the main game. The total playtime is satisfactory, with multiple tasks to effectuate within each location. Overall, this is an enjoyable game; we suggest playing the free trial. Unfortunately, we are discontent with the developer’s solution to the glitch in the cable puzzle. We initiated the update to fix the glitch well before we reached said puzzle. Had we known we would have to create a new profile and restart the game, we would not have progressed that far into the game. In our opinion, not being able to progress after installing any update is a debilitating programming flaw that should be rectified. Starting the game over is both irksome and time-consuming, so we had to skip the puzzle to move on. Therefore, we deducted a star to express our dissatisfaction.

Note to Liligirl: the game was glitchy, so it might have been your issue on occasion, but there were problems, which the developer (or Artifex Mundi) said were fixed. We experienced the flaw in the cable mini game and was annoyed because we knew how to solve it! In addition, there WAS a bonus adventure which unlocked after the main game. The game was not on sale; you have to buy a subscription to get it for $4.99, and unless you havent played all the other AM games, it ends up being more expensive because they charge you monthly for the subscription! If Artifex Mundi gave us games on a regular basis the club would be worth it, but once a month doesnt cut it! This game was extremely enjoyable. We were pleased that the setting wasnt medieval or Victorian, and that it was modern. Brave Giant Studios gives you all the bells and whistles, including settings customization, teleport map, indicator for collectibles (morphing scrolls and crystals), complex items and a diary for objectives. The journal didnt record storyline progression; however you could learn the story by solving magical books. The graphics were good but could have been a bit sharper. The HO scenes had some variety, or you could choose to play a Monaco pairing game instead. The puzzles/games really did include a game for all players. There were games of skill and dexterity, rotational puzzles, codes, a maze, a labyrinth, and games of logic. Each location had several tasks to be accomplished. The gameplay was intrinsically enjoyable; however we experienced touch screen sensitivity issues when attempting to use inventory items. This game was a decent length inclusive of the bonus adventure. We are deducting a half star for the cable game glitch and the overall quality assurance issues. Our true rating will be 4.5 stars. Gamers, we got 3 games this week! Dont forget Elephant released a new one (Midnight Calling: Arabella). Happy gaming to all! Thank you Catalina and our wonderful Dream Team! Its unfortunate that we had to threaten Artifex Mundi in order to get them to publish in the United States. Now that they are able to do so, we would like to see more games from Brave Giant Studios! Definitely more from Sunward, and more from whoever developed Greed! Artifex Mundi, please realize there is now a niche left by BigFish and you should take advantage of it. Get your developers to create more games and start giving us more than one game per month. If you want to increase your revenue, you will take our advice!

First of all we want say that this game is worthy of getting 5 stars however because you are requiring your players to purchase it on a monthly fee and do not offer a one time purchase of this game or any of your other games we are forced to give it only 2 stars. We are not interested in a monthly subscription especially after reading the review dated April 7, 2019.

We hardly ever give 5 stars but this game deserves it. It is a very lengthy game (at least it seemed that way to us but we did not keep track of our time playing). It is a mystery detective spooky genre – not our favorite- but it still was great. We do not play with the volume on so we can not speak to the voice overs. The graphics and games were great. Actually at first we thought the game was glitchy then we realized it was us, not the game. We have gotten to simple basic HO games recently – this one was just better and more complex somehow – better developed and we were just being lazy lol. A definite buy. On sale right now for 4.99. No bonus game – but that is okay. Every time you think the game is going to end, it doesnt. And it never drags or gets boring.
