A Glimpse into Designer City 2
Design and build a town, nurture and grow it into a gigantic sprawling metropolis. This free town building game can be played online and offline.
In this free town building game, you will need to attract residents by building houses, condos, apartments and skyscrapers for them to live in. Once they’ve settled in, they will need employment opportunities so you will also construct businesses and industry where they can work. Add bars, restaurants, nightlife, stadiums and other entertainment to keep your people happy. Construct hundreds of unique skyscrapers and world famous landmarks to decorate your city skyline.
Your residents do not want to live in a polluted town so it is important to carefully zone your city and ensure that you decorate your city with plenty of trees, parks and real life iconic landmarks from around the world. Manage large transportation networks, design and build seaports and airports to increase industry and tourism.
Sculpt your landscape the way you want it. Lower the land to create rivers, lakes and coastlines. Raise it to create elevated land, hills and mountains. What will your city skyline look like when you’ve finished building your dream city?

This game is awesome. No doubt.
Our overall experience is incredible, although there are a few things that can make it even better. 1. Add some N.A.T.O. Stuff like a flag and building. 2. A few log cabins and some other things a camp might need. 3. Maybe yall can make it possible for you to be able to make a city on another planet. You could unlock this after maybe making a good space program. 4. This is just an add on of the previous idea, but maybe you could make a thing where you can add space stations above your city. These are just a few suggestions, so if it would be a pain in the rear, then dont do it. But if not, at least consider some of these ideas.
Is there a way, or maybe an update can allow a way, to restart a new city without losing levels and/or unlocked land lots? Id love to start over but we dont want to lose progress such as real estate and items thats been unlocked. This is one of the best games out there.
Lots of new businesses and housing population, who rarely eat in restaurants in Designer City2? A Paltry 7 restaurants to choose from.. Wheres the Fish&chips, tacos, noodle bar, smoothies etc, veggie patches and specialty grocery stores? We want our City to have walkable restaurants!
Need scenarios but maybe thats not what this games about. You should ask 2x if the item requires gold to buy. We’ve lost soo much gold buying things on mistake. Not cool. Great game tho.
This game is way better then any other building game . They have a huge amount of options to build . And the detail and graphics are INCREDIBLE . We just really wish they would add more military stuff . They have a decent amount of military options but it would be great if they added more .
Its a good game – no unnecessary gamification elements you have to click constantly. Simple and good pace of game play. Our only complaint is that you cant rotate your city like other simulations. Theres only 1 view which makes it hard to see everything. Would be great to be able to rotate the whole map.
And the crowd chants UPGRADES, UPGRADES, UPGRADES.
It’s a good simulation game but needs larger expansion or atleast a connecting city for continuing play. We would love to see running subways, Taxi Ubers and Doordash vehicles, realistic lanes and tracks overpass, track crossing guards lights with arms, more residential apartments and houses, more fast food commerce (diners, truck stops, drive in), retail, realistic banks and farming, cruise lines, airports that flies too connecting created towns,etc,and new weather patterns and overall ecosystem.
This game is fun, but there are some improvements we would like to see. Like when you get rid of a building you should be able to get money back. Second is that the parking lot should be able to connect to the road so we can see the people coming and going. Third there should be a one way road in this game Forth we should be able to move the buildings in all directions and the buildings should be bigger and cover more ground than one square.
As you get to upper levels almost all buildings require you to purchase gold to build. Game is interesting at first, but gets boring if you dont want to buy gold.
Really enjoying the game,however it keeps taking our money. We close the game with $91,000,000. We open the game two hours later and we have $86,000,000. Then the game adds money to our balance and brings the balance back up to the original $91,000,000. This occurs on a daily basis whether we let the game set 2hours or overnight. It will consistently, over the course of any given day take about $4,000,000 from us. We tried to contact support however the tab for support wont open. So apparently there is no real support. A fun game but increasingly frustrating because of this little bug.

Hey just like what the title says, by any chance can any of your devs make some highway bridge supports? Of any levels. It would look beautiful for the mobile digital cities, just like GGB (Golden Gate Bridge.) and where we can add all sizes or shapes in all colors with leds that can be shown. If you cant do that order, it would be grateful if you could do the GGB request. (Golden Gate Bridge.)
Can you please add highways to the game.
First thing we noticed was tanks and space but theres no fighter jets without the aircraft carrier witch is a copy from the first game. Fighter jets need to be added please add them to games 1 and 2.
This game has loads to offer, its like you can control a city. You can do whatever 10/10.
This is excellent game. But we wish the future updates had monorails and more public transport options. As well as a good highway system with large roads. But overall the game is good.
This game is so fun we havent given it a five star review because of the amazing graphics and have fun it is and how everything is you have to like buy it with your own money and it teaches you how to use your money in the real life.
We enjoyed DC1 so we thought Id give DC2 a try. The only thing Id say we were disappointed in was that some of the buildings from the first one arent in it. Really hoping they get added in the future.
We really want to raise the land so high that the top will have snow and make mountains.
So we played DC 1 and it was good. There was some things wrong but figured it was first attempt at making the game. The graphics were great compared to other build games but scale was our main concern. So after completing our city, we figured we would also play DC2 thinking they would make better upgrades. We were so wrong. There are a few thing we noticed right off. First the graphics look like you hired kids. What a let down. But the first thing we noticed was the scale was way off. Most skyscrapers are taller than the snow capped mountains. Are we to believe that skyscrapers are 5000 feet tall? Also noticed that some 3 story building are as tall as 8 story buildings. Again, what a let down. Our recommendation would be to re-hire the DC1 graphics team. Also get the scale better or more realistic at least. Disappointed in the non scaled cartoonish game. We really hope that if you do a DC3 game, you will fix these issues. This one was terrible.
So we love the game but we want to have a bunch of money and gold like 10.557$ and gold but it is a good game.

Game is very good, has lots of building, however we think it could really use an update of the road system, like having more decoration for road upgrades, being able to add multilane roads or maybe some more variety and capability of things like bridges and overpasses.
This game is so cool but one building we REALLY want to see added is the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Preferably a 5×5. Thanks.
Not only is this the best city building game that we could find on the App Store, but this game also has great customer support. We had a problem in the game, and we emailed customer support and not only did they respond only a few hours later, but they also helped us fix the problem. Im impressed! Just a few suggestions, their are buildings in the first designer city game that arent in designer city 2 that designer city 2 could really benefit from, like the ski resorts, the monorail system, and more. Another suggestion is that you should have highways type of roads, like cars go faster on those roads than other roads in the game.
Everything about the game is great except the fact that there is no support/contact with the developers. The contact support button in settings does nothing.
Awesome but can you put mountains back in this game like the first one ?
Why does this seem like an older version than the original? We really dont like having to raise the ground for a rail tunnel, it was easier in the original. Where are the diamonds? We thought you started out with one.
About the game: Its an alright game just like every other city building mobile game. We just wish games would quit copying sim city mobile and go for something like cities skyline. Doesnt need to be graphically over the top, but the mechanics of it is perfection.
We were hoping to pass our progress from our phone to our iPad and it worked.
If you loved Sim City and Sim City 2000, this is the closest thing to it. Some things are more tedious because youre not just setting zoning like in sun city, but specifically choosing types buildings. At the same time, it gives you more customization so its fun. Some people have complained about buildings increasing in cost each time you build one. Whats not mentioned is theres several other options of each building, theyre just different designs so its not monotone. The price will still be low for ones you havent built many of. The fact you can move buildings around after building is nice because a touchscreen isnt always accurate.
Improve the style of the highways to make better intersections.
This game is amazing we could spend a lot of time on the app but one minor thing we would like it sounds stupid but could the express ways turn ?
This is an enjoyable game that doesnt require in app purchases (although they are available). Plan and build your city balancing out infrastructure with community wants and needs. You have to adjust your growth while continuously rebalancing the needs of your community. This game provides metrics that involves happiness, finances, food supply, utilities, economy, transportation, education, public safety, health and wellness, pollution, and more. Its fun, and a little addictive, to grow your community and keep its citizens happy!
Hi we were wondering if u could ad a feature where you click on a button and you can play around in your city as mayor we would really appreciate it.
We great city simulator. Sim City simplified.
No need to spend money but can to build faster if your impatient. Overall great game. Only downside is not being able to build multiple tree squares at once.
Great game, many things you can do and create.
