This game does a lot of things right. We are really enjoying it. If you like RPGs with tactical turn based strategies you might also really like it. Good job. Too bad they never added more main story line quests.
Great RPG that combines elements of old school & new. Great graphics, gameplay, & the storys decent too. Also great cast of characters.

Overall this game is pretty great. We love the turn-based strategy style. Though it runs smoothly, it has a small load screen between every turn; sometimes accompanied by an ad. Sure, it takes a lot of gold to MAX out your characters, but it's not necessary to beat the missions…. & the arena prizes really help with that. We were able to beat it without spending a dime. Fun game.
We're an OLD tabletop rpger from way back. If we were able we would still be running tabletop games today. This game reminds us of good times with our friends, role-playing and simply just enjoying each other's company.

This plays like the old SSI games of the 80's-90's. This game is not easy, you need to use strategy to win. Sometimes it takes 2-3 times to find out the field layout and the type of enemy and number. It will take a while to upgrade skills because you have to spend on potions to survive. The good thing is your characters will regenerate if you have one person to survive the battle. We suggest getting healers for the party, you'll need them. Great game.
This is a really engaging Turn based RPG. It's a refreshing break from all of the shallow hack n slash RPGs out there. Highly recommended.
Nice graphics, good battle system. Decent IAP that no terribly intrusive. Has ads, can be grindy, and a somewhat slow pace. But overall, it doesn't destroy the gaming experience. Give it a shot if you are into turn based RPGs.
Fun game if you like turn-based games. It can't rush you, so it's a pretty chill game. Can't attest to the sound… Doesn't take long for health to restore (only time management here). Missions can take a bit if you don't have/buy potions, but we just take some extra turns. Ads run about 30 seconds, somewhat common. Not intrusive though. Graphics are plain, but backgrounds are pretty detailed.
This game is pretty fun. Our only complaint is that you need so much gold to play that you almost have to put money into it. Otherwise you can collect your daily bonus for days on end just to have enough gold to play one battle. We only play about once a week when our bonus gold stacks up enough to do so.
Could have been a truly outstanding game, but for all the adds!!! Like Adds? This game is for you. You can't get through a single battle without pop up adds!!!! Just another game in a long list of money grubbing add pushing apps….shame on you Devs! Welcome to the world of in-app purchases! Sell us the dame game and get off our back.

We love this game because it is a lot like dungeons and dragons, which we often play. Thank you for making this game.
This is fun but there is a point it try's to get you to pay a lot for stuff but if your patient you can with out.
The ads which pop up during the gameplay are annoying, but once we turned off our wifi they stop. We also really like that you can play without an Internet connection.
This game has crazy potential but as usual, it's all about berating the player with ads and holding levels hostage for real $$. If a game is worth it, we'll pay a few bucks but sadly, this app is the perfect example of greedy, greedy devs.
It's a free turn based RPG. So it says. It's 3.99 to remove the 30 long advertisements. That appear every 15 turns. You have earn exp. To unlock upgrades for your "heroes". Then in order to get said upgrade it cost gold on an increasing slide scale for each lvl. Gold is sparse through out the cookie cutter missions. But you can buy more for the low low price of $9.99. So if you are a pay to play person the healer hero will set you back 19.98. If your not you will stuck buying healing potions at 5 for 1000 gold basically making it impossible to lvl your heroes.
Game seems very unlikely to allow progression without IAP, even with grinding for cash. Your level keeps increasing as you grind for money, which causes the monsters to scale harder, in the meantime you don't have enough money to keep your abilities at par with your level.
Did not have fun because it was too hard to earn money/coins in the game. They really wanna make you pay real money for stuff(coins mainly and other characters). Not fun. Adds between turns annoy the hell out of us. Makes us not want to play. This might be a good game for you but not for us.
We've been playing for about a day now. If you like turn base strategy games you may wanna consider this one. There is really nothing in particular that stands out so far. However, we wish the devs made a lite version. Instead they made this free and you have to pay as you go. For example, if you don't pay $4 to remove the ads they will pop up during a fight 2 to 3 times a battle. So far gold is hard to come by to keep up with your heroes but it's not impossible. We would have easily paid $5 for this game. We think it would have been a better way to go instead of making it free and then trying to annoy you to death with ads in order to get your money. We'll update this as we play a bit more. Update: this game is very money driven. If you want to finish it your gonna have to grind for weeks to upgrade your heroes or pay real money. If you decide your going to grind then your also going to level your heroes requiring you to pay even MORE gold. It's a money trap. It's a shame. It could have been such a great game. How this is getting 4 stars we don't know. Don't trust the amount of stars on the review. Read the actual review and judge there.
It's too bad. This game had potential for a decent turn-based rpg and they mess it all up with greed. 30 second long ads pop up randomly and in the middle of actual fights, but you can disable them for $3.99. Then everything else is pay to play. Made it to the 3rd level (1 hour in to the game) and it's impossible without paying real money. We won't be held hostage and good luck generating revenue with no players. Learn from this or don't. We don't care and we won't be back to play any games this developer creates. Shame.

It's a business model. Devs need to get paid too.!the ads aren't event that bad: you paid NOTHING for the game. If you like it, drop the two bucks and get on with it. Glad to see some classic RPGs on the App Store turn based or not.
When we play this when we were young .. Its the best RPG we play .. But we will take a try on this .. Just don't do some annoying Ads .. Its not popular yet so don't demand this to be paid.
Game is fun if every 1 or so dam ads pop up even if u pay 4 the 2$ add remover still has pop ups it's one of those fun if u dump tons of money in and … Crap.
Ads keeping popping up.. Each 1 or 2 minutes. It seems people are being harassed to buy the ads free version.
Really fun game. Only reason we don't give it 5* is because of timers on health regen.
Some strategy elements. Good balance. Lots of fun. Can play for minutes or hours. Interesting and engaging.

The game is a solid dungeon crawler. Kinda like diablo meets baldurs gate but turn based. However gold in the game is needed for everything. Healing included. And if you play a map and put it down that's fine. But if you want to play the game for any longer than that you are going to need purchase gold to keep your health up. The game is challenging and enemies are strong, so losing health is a big problem. Would be better if developers were more generous with gold. Been playing for over 3+ hrs total and have only gotten out of the tutorial. We're stuck doing side missions to just keep up, and we get stomped if we try the first real level.
We were going to rate this 4 stars because it has nice graphics and gameplay. Sound (especially the voice acting) could be better. And while we paid to remove the ads, which led to a better playing experience, it left a bad taste in our mouth because the ads were SO pervasive. It felt like an underhanded move by the devs to get you to pay. But just yesterday we ran into a major problem. We did a few of the free offer wall deals to get some much needed gold, as the farther you get in the game, the amount you need to spend on skill upgrades increases dramatically (and you don't get enough from the scenarios to pay for them all unless you never die). Then the game crashed when we tapped on the party view button to go to improve the skills. Now our monk is reset to level 1 with no skills, and we've lost access to the other two characters. Yet the map and quests haven't reset, so we have no way of getting them back! Our game is completely hosed. We'll have to delete the game and start over, as we would guess the save file became corrupted. We're seriously tempted to ask Apple for our money back.
Not at all happy with this download. Gameplay cumbersome and google aspect is invasive.
Congratulations to the developers! The first game we uninstalled in under a minute.
