Description
Donut County is a story-based physics puzzle game where you play as an ever-growing hole in the ground. Meet cute characters, steal their trash, and throw them in a hole.
WHERE TRASH IS TREASURE
Raccoons have taken over Donut County with remote-controlled trash-stealing holes. You play as BK, a hole-driving raccoon who swallows up his friends and their homes to earn idiotic prizes.
When BK falls into one of his own holes, he’s confronted by his best friend Mira and the residents of Donut County, who are all stuck 999 feet underground… and they demand answers!
THE HOLE KEEPS GROWING
- EXPLORE every character’s home, each with their own unique environment.
- MOVE the hole to swallow up their stuff, growing bigger each time.
- COMBINE objects inside for crazy effects: cook soup, breed bunnies, launch fireworks, and more.
- CATAPULT things back out of the hole. You can use it to solve puzzles…or just destroy stuff.
- DEVOUR everything. The hole won’t stop until the whole county is all gone.
Donut County was created by Ben Esposito, designer on What Remains of Edith Finch and The Unfinished Swan. It is the result of six years of solo development, dozens of donuts (for research), and one fateful encounter with a raccoon.

We love this game! People say not worth it But in epic games launcher a.k.a Fortnite sells donut county for $15.00! Thats how much we get a month! And the people are lying about it being short. It took two days to complete it!

We enjoy this game SO much! We love the story line, and the graphics. Some people say this game is too short, but we think that its the perfect length. Plus why not play it again?! (Ive played this game like 6 times already)

This is a excellent game, but it needs more content.
Pretty short but fun and very pretty. About the standard for Anapurna. Another streamlined experience that fully explores a simple idea with style.
We really enjoyed the game but it needs more levels and harder puzzles. We dont think its worth the $5. We think in the end you should be able to go around the town and do mini games or something. Overall its really fun and it looks good.
So we started off with hole. Io, loved the concept. It was quick and simple. Then we read about how it’s actually a clone of this game, needless to say. This game is really fun. The graphics and sounds make all the difference in quality. We like both games. This is if you have more time and are into the solo experience, where the other pits you vs others in who swallow more faster. Would recommend this game to friend.
We’re a 40-something non-gamer type who loves games that you can play that don’t require you to know a ton of stuff and/or be able to perform complexed, complicated moves. Donut County perfectly fits the bill. The graphics are not stellar and life-like, but have a quaint artisizm to them that is quite enchanting. We play this game to relax and unwind. If you want a simple game to help you decompress from a stressful day, go down to Donut County today.
You could make a mood will you can Spohn in the whole life once you win the game you can make a mode where you Spohn in the hole and somewhere in the town and then you just keep on growing bigger and bigger eat in whole town we love your games so much but in the second one you should make it more long Ill because we defeated this game in one dayHow do you make a second game and we hope Ill get to play it.

This game is SO creative, and we love the colors.
We loved this game 100% but it could use more, because we finished the game in one day and then had nothing to do. We think it should have more stuff or stories or towns.
We are not one who normally plays a game over no matter how short it is, but this game caught our interest to the point where we played it at least 3 times over. All in all its a great game and you should get it.

This game is pretty cool. You eat stiff as a hole but its very short. We beat it in under 9 hours. And now we are just speedrunning the game at under 1 hour. We would like new characters and more levels. Please add more levels.
A lot of the reviews point out how short the game is, we do wish it was longer, but we dont expect the world for $5. Remember that this game launched at $13 on the PC, that is a bit steep of a price. But on mobile $5 is perfect. An easy way to extend the game would be some kind of endless mode with randomly generated maps.
Played through this game expecting greatness, and received it. Although short, the unique art style and physics-based puzzles combine to form a very memorable experience. For a game on the App Store, this is truly incredible. If youre considering buying the game, give it a try! Have a garbage day~
This game is one of our favorites, and we dont say that about a lot of games. The plot is great, the characters are really cute, and over all Its an amazing game. It is short, but you can replay it as many times as you want. Its good for reading and you can read really funny descriptions in the trashopiedia. Its fun, and on the occasion, it takes some thinking to solve the puzzle. We think its worth the 5$.

Donut County is our favorite game. We’ve beat it so many times. When you beat the King Quadcopter, your victory feels so good. The music is outstanding. Our favorite soundtrack is Bird of Paradise. We love all the characters, but we think BK wins as our favorite. This mustve took a long time to create. We all love your game, and we hope that you make some more games like this. This story is filled with holes. Your brain is full of holes. Best quote.

We love this game. We truly do. Its charming, whimsical, quirky and sassy. Everything about it is hilarious but practical. The thing that bums us out is: theres nothing ELSE. We were happy to pay the $4.99 to enjoy this experience but thats it. A single experience. We would love a New Game Plus or something to extend this beyond the single run. More objects to add to the trashopedia would be neat too.
Cute animal characters. You gotta love them raccoon cops with their doughnuts. So cute. We discovered the game at a friends house, and fell in love. Pricey, but worth every cent. By Potters Grove your hooked and in love with the game. Kinda scary if you look closer. We mean, Possum has a bulletin board with string connecting photos of everyone, and Trash Kings plan was to let everyone rot underground. Great game plz play. ENJOY!
Donut County is the greatest mobile game we’ve ever played. Its charming and fun, and downright funny! It reminded us of Katamari Damacy, with so much delightful destruction, beautiful vibrant scenery, silly characters and excellent writing. Perfectly absurd. We hope theres a sequel!

This is a great game with a funny plot. We love it and our favorite part is when Mira says Your brain is full of holes bk. Exept our only complaint is that it is too short. Please make a part two version for at least two bucks!
We honestly loved this game. You could tell the person that made it put a lot of effort into it. The game may be short but it is of great quality. The gameplay easy and the puzzles somewhat simple but still requiring brainpower to figure out. The story was cute and funny. The levels arent repetitive because of the simple puzzles you need to figure out. We didnt have a single level we got stuck on and all the game physics related to the hole worked well. It is a fair price for this great quality game.

We loved the graphics the humor and the gameplay but you should make a chapter 2, purchasable levels, free bonus levels, or a dlc about how the raccoons came to donut county.
Simple addictive gameplay that reminds us of Katamari Damacy. The only serious flaw is that its way too short. It should have at least twice as many levels. Take just a few hours to complete the entire game.
The first time we saw someone play this game we thought this is really cool but it was so much more fun when you control the hole great story fun levels and cool dialogue some people say its too short but just play it again its still fun we recommend this game to anyone who likes fun.
We personally beat this amazing game within the same day of buying it and Im sure majority of the pitcher games users did too. So for that $$ you should at least get a couple of days worth out of the game if not weeks.

Donut county is one of the best games we’ve played and probably the most its addicting gameplay can keep you playing this game for hours on end with good music which is one of our favorites right next to terraria and with characters with good dialog making the characters way more better all though theyre is bugs it is still amazing.

Look we dont often write reviews but we felt like it was a must after seeing it obtain game of the year. This game has great visuals great gameplay. And even though we wish it was longer we even bought the windows version on steam to play it there. It serves as a great time killer when Im just sitting around or taking a long drive with our dad and hes listening to either music or on his phone (Bluetooth of course). Wish it was on google play so we could get it there too. Other then that great job team on making a fantastic game and congratulations on the award!
