Story
This is the tale of Psaro, a young man cursed, and the adventure upon which he and his trusted friends embark.
When the curse put upon him by his father, the Master of Monsterkind, renders him incapable of harming any creature of monster blood, Psaro vows to become a monster wrangler in order to break the spell. On his journey, he will befriend many monsters, train them to be stronger, synthesize powerful new allies and take on ever more dangerous foes.

Test Your Might Against Other Players
Register your team for the network mode Quickfire Contests to participate in automated battles against the party data of 30 other players. Once a day you can earn stat-boosting items as a prize, and the monsters from any team you defeat will be added to your roster (up to rank B monsters only).

So glad its even possible to do this :D Extra note: Also can you add 60 fps for medium settings? It runs really smooth on high settings but we cant really customize it to do the same on lower resolutions If not its all good still love the game. Thank you for this masterpiece.
EDIT: Please stop the treasure trunks from opening the privacy policy in a browser every time we go to open the chest. Its happening every time. Is there someway to get it to recognize that Ive opened it and read it already? This is one of our favorite JRPGs and monster tamers from the past year on the Switch. And as soon as we started playing it, we thought it would be perfect for mobile! Battle and scout monsters from many different areas, synthesize monsters into new ones, includes DLC (except Japan McDonalds exclusive monsters that we know of), and you can fast travel and save anywhere. Perfect for Dragon Quest fans, monster tamer fans, JRPG fans, and those who like a good grind. Lots to try with this one.
Extremely fun game, it is the only game Im playing right now, was in the middle of black myth wukong when we happened to stumble across this in the AppStore. Being a fan of dragon quest already since the first one on nes, and of course the first monsters on game boy, we knew to give this a shot. What we didnt know what how good it would be, already got 35 hours into it, console quality graphics and gameplay on an iPhone game, extremely fun, especially if you are already a fan of the series or jrpgs in general. Best monster catching game on iOS and one of the best jrpgs on iOS, has actual DQ 11 graphics, which makes us hope they port DQ 11 to iOS. Thank you for this one SquareEnix.

This is legit our first ever AppStore game review. The controls are extremely well optimized and we had zero issues. We hope more Dragon quest games come to mobile, because they did their thing with this one. 10/10 recommended.
This game is amazing, truly a remarkable Dragon Quest game. However, there are issues with this iOS port. Frame rate stutters in certain areas and battles, Im on an iPhone 13 Pro Max so it might be better on newer iPhones. Also, the text font is too small sometimes. Theres no way to adjust the font, so it makes it difficult to read context. Some people might not like the lack of controller support. Im used to touch controls, so it didnt bother us. This option missing from the game does limit the accessibility. These three points were our main concerns for anyone purchasing this game. If thats not enough to push you away from this game, then youll find yourself enjoying a great game with plenty of strategic depth. Anyone who likes Dragon Quest or JRPGs will enjoy it. 9/10.

Please release DQM 1 and 2 remakes + the joker series and include network features! Will also buy the gameboy versions of DWM 1 and 2 + caravan hearts if you release! Occasional crashes/freezes when minimizing the game + accepting policy for online features doesnt save guarantees we experience crashes/feeezes. Please fix if possible, still 5 stars tho. Beat it on switch and loved it. Theyre selling it half the price of everywhere else, so its a bargain to get it on iOS right now. Runs fine, no issues so far. Love it.
No issues encountered so far and the frames are pretty awesome on a phone! 60fps and no stutters whatsoever and we can actually adjust the graphics settings to high on our iphone 15 with no heat issues. Best game ever! 10/10 hands down best port on a phone.
We really like how easy touch controls are. We want to list of few things that we hope you. Consider tackling. – font size on iPhone max is tiny. Even though there are a lot of space around the text. – graphics option is missing for high res but 30 fps. It would be good for iPhone. It has low res and low fps or high res and high fps. – controller support would be good. Not sure why it is not there since this game is on ps5 already.
What a great game for iPhone. Maybe if they added the remakes of 1 and 2 then wed really get into the series. Ive had more fun with this than the newest Pokemon game and theyre infinitely more portable. Just wish it had trading.
If you played the Dragon Warrior Monsters games back in the GameBoy Color days or the Joker games on the DS, this is the latest entry in the series. One SIGNIFICANT improvement is that you can actually reverse-search your breed/synthesis result, so you dont have to meticulously check every monster against every other monster for good results. Also massively improved from previous entries is the ability to Zoom everywhere. No more walking across the entire hub world to get to a particular monster spawn location! You can ping between your favorite grinding spot, the monster synthesis area, the arena of your choice, and the various spawn locations with the touch of a button. All gameplay, all the time. The plot exists. The bosses are pretty strong, so you wont sleepwalk through the game even if youre a veteran. World design is excellent. We do not recommend the Circle of Indulgence for anyone on a diet. We remember the Circle of Temper could cause lag on Switch from the lava particles and eruptions, so be forewarned that weak phones may heat up in that area for a bit too much immersion. May not be for every single gamer, but fans of the Dragon Quest series and/or monster raising games should have a lot of fun.
This is a great game however, we would love for it to have controller support on mobile, as that allows for better ease of access.
Played this game on the switch and we are ready to relive it on mobile, we just wish it was controller compatible. We know it just came out on mobile, but it would make sense for the game that came out on a console thats controller compatible would offer the same controller compatibility on mobile. Hopefully, thats coming soon.
Already played this in the Switch but this has really good performance and includes all the DLC. This could really use co troller support though to make it even better.

If you can not swap monsters in the paddock or in general try restarting your device than its hold and drag. It worked for us and others.
Please add controller support specifically the backbone please.

Im about 4 hours into the game at the time of us writing this review and Ive been having fun with this game. We like the Pokmon style mechanics and the story is pretty interesting so far however there is a game breaking bug. We are playing on the iPhone 14 and Ive checked Reddit so we know its not just us having this issue but players cannot change the monsters from their party and reserves or from there box that holds all the monsters. The drag and drop feature isnt working and when you go to press and hold on a monster when in the paddox it just gives you the option to remove the monster from your party there is no way to add to your party which is very annoying. So far Ive been playing the game with the same 4 monsters we captured in our first like 20minutes of gameplay which isnt a problem now but we want a new team and to try new monsters. Please Square Enix can you fix this issue its been 2 weeks since the last patch and we really want to enjoy this game but cant. Other than that issue the game so far has been amazing. But after paying like $20 for it and missing a major feature like this we feel like Im being ripped off or just got scammed.
We enjoyed this game on the switch but so far this has been almost unplayable on the iPhone. Constant freezing after battles cause us to kill the app and start the fights all over just to get stuck after another fight a few minutes later. Until they fix these issues we would not recommend downloading the app.
