Dr.Stanley’s House 2 is a Flash based adventure game which you can pick up, combine and use items in order to solve many problems in a very mysterious story line.
In this game, you are acting a detective, your task is to follow the clues to solve puzzles so that you will enjoy an unexpected story. We loved the story of it! Really! Im excited for 3! One of the beautiful detective game we ever played.
We understand the "historical significance" of this game and appreciate it but it also has some real problems. Dialogue is pretty bad/badly translated and navigation isn’t great (but we’ve seen a lot worse navigation, too). Playing the first game first might help this one make a bit more sense. Rounded up to 4 stars but 3.5 would be more appropriate. Puzzles are variable; mostly easy but sometimes illogical. There are some issues with lack of intuitive-ness in all areas of the game but those are generally tolerable. The game is a bit short. And why did we pick up all those stones?
A game shouldnt let you do something that makes it impossible to finish the game. And yet thats exactly what can happen in this one if you dont make exactly the right choices. To anyone who is reading this – DONT GO INTO THE LADIES ROOM!! If you do, the nurse wont talk to you and you wont get a certain key which you need to complete the game. Im female and it was totally natural to go into the ladies room. Its all a bit confusing because earlier walkthroughs and info say that she only gives you a stone, which you dont need to finish, but that is not the case now. Other walkthroughs show her giving you the key. It appears the game is too old to get any help or input anymore. It looks like our only option is to play over from the beginning or simply delete and abandon the game, but we’ve put a lot of time into it and am pretty far into the game. Its really too bad because we were enjoying it. We’ve played a lot of games and have never encountered one with such a fatal and disappointing flaw. James Li, if you read this, Id really appreciate if you could offer some help or maybe an update. Id be happy to update our review if that happened.
We stumbled across the Dr. Stanley series by accident. We found episode 2 quite challenging at points (I admit needing a hint for the safe puzzle, though not an explicit solution), but not too difficult if you put some time into it. Navigation can be a bit tricky (it took us a while to discover the kitchen, the arrows confused us a bit). Atmospheric, good soundtrack and effects. All in all, a solid puzzler.
We love Dr. Stanley’s house. One of the best point and games out. This one seemed kind of shorter than the first one but well worth it.
We’ve just finished the 1st and 2nd game, so this review applies to both. At first glance, this series is outdated with a few grammar/spelling errors. It may seem tempting prematurely quit or pass on the game altogether. DON’T pass up on this fantastic game…. It’s a very good game! So good, that we didn’t even drop a star for the graphics and spelling. The puzzles are generally easy, but we did have to use a walk through once or twice for help. The plot is intriguing, and once you are in the house, the game becomes a lot of fun! The storyline that unfolds is brilliant, and we were thrilled to see the that a sequel (and a 3rd game) was available in the App Store. Get the entire series… You will not regret it!
How to get safe code from tiles we cant count it ??? Help plz.
Need help ASAP!!! Just started playing we tried using the remote from the other patients room but its not letting us use it. We already gave the other doctor the poison he is in the bathroom. Help please. What else do we do.

We have poisoned the doc and he’s still in the bathroom! Should we have found anything in either bathroom?? We can’t get in the room with either doc! (The one that the police is guarding and the sick dr!!) we have the wind stone and can’t figure out what to do with that either!!! What do we do????
We posted most of this review for the first Dr Stanley app, but most also applies here. Only other thing to add is it’s not really clear what the stones are for, except collecting them. Perhaps they are part of the next story? If you want a really tough room escape, this is not for you. Most of the time you are finding keys and such out in the open, with only a couple of true puzzles (Dr Stanley 2 has more things to puzzle out). You play this game for the look and the slightly demented story. The graphics are a simplified comic book style. It’s got great lines, collage-like movement (think South Park, with cutout characters moving around, but with an edgier graphic style). The story is just weird. In a good way. We went thru both Dr Stanley titles. There are twists and turns you kind of expect, but it doesn’t render the gameplay uninteresting. You just want to keep going. The only negative thing we could say is that the text was clearly not written by a native English speaker, and there are a bunch of typos. But, for us, this kind of added to its campy appeal. We recommend both Dr Stanley titles for some short, kind of weird, fun.
A little help: the aspirin is on the shelf in the stock room ( accessible from hvac vents) you get all the herbs to combine to poison the dr and get his coat read the manual. Gtg more later.

We really love the game but everyone keeps talking about a phone and we don’t have one and how do you figure out the safe combination it really hard!!! Help!!!
We have just recently became a fan of escape games and came across this Title. We only downloaded it because it was free and had a great rating; but in all honesty we were prepared to try it, hate it and then delete it. We couldn’t have been more wrong! We didn’t want to put it down. It was challenging and fun! There are a few less than perfect issues but nothing that deflects from the intriguing nature of the game. The story line was a little confusing and the subtitles were a far cry from correct grammar, but it didn’t change the overall aspect of this game or our opinion of it. Hope to see and play many more Dr. Stanley investigation games in the future!!

To get the code from the safe, look at the tiles in front of the safe the tile that is deeper is the number, if no tile is deeper then that tile equals a 0. The tiles should be counted horizontally. Also when you’re taking the call light from the patient if you mix ginseng and gonoderma he will drop one of the stones you need. Hope this will help someone. So to sum up. First row horizontally from to bottom… If the third tile is darker then the first number on the safe, is three. If no tile on the row is dark then the number on the safe is 0.
We so enjoyed this game, amazing story! It takes a while to figure out some puzzles but once u do it all goes smoothly from there! We want more games like this. Thank you.

Just 2 let everyone know, the code for the safe is at the doctors house in his room, you should find his Id there, after u find it flip the Id over, it should be on the back.
This game is Waaayyyyy harder than the first game and im stuck on the lock safe. Hint to scare the dog away you have to burn the doctors coat from the doctor office in the hospital. Burn the doctors coat to scare the dog and get the fire stone.
Once you turn off the fan, everything is easy. In the floor b you have to use the green slate thing to get the laser turned off, but we can’t find the code the the safe :(

Heres how you do it: turn your phone so the knobs are facing away from u towards the door. In each line of tiles there is a darker one from the rest. Count up from the safe to the door (say the 3rd tile is darker, the number would be 3 etc) start from right to left and you will get what your looking for. Flip your phone to read the knobs right and turn them according to the numbers u got, good luck.
The mix is Gy something, if forget exact name and combine with aspirin Take the towel from the yellow bathroom and light it on fire.
Where is the safe at? We have reached the point where we have to solve the red green and blue laser and we are unable to get past this point.
