Find out what gamers are saying about Egypt: Old Kingdom:

Its a great game and we’ve had a ton of fun on it! Sadly though our campaign is coming to a halt because every time we get to the Dynast Tombs Task we are unable to move even after reloading the game and even restarting and getting back to that point, we cant move our camera at all other than zooming in and out.

This game is great, totally recommend it! We were hoping to speak to the creator, because we think a game exactly this style, but set in Greece. We know he did marble age, but something exactly like this! Thanks for this masterpiece.

You have found a gem, this game is one of the only mobile games that scratches that balanced strategy game itch for us while Im out and about or running errands. Gameplay is simple yet effectively entertaining, and you have a variety of difficulty and game mode options to choose from. Lacking a bit visually from what most expect from mobile games, the pop animations bring enough life to the board to get you past that hump. A game we return to every few months <3 Bravo to the developers for bringing a great finished game to the iOS store. Seems a rare breed these days. Dont forget to worship Seth! (Up to 3 ;)

Fun game to try to max on the easiest setting: try to explore/conquer the region as fast as possible, and build the best pyramids. Big fan of this developer.

For whatever reason Im not having as much fun as we did with the first Egypt game this company made. It seems like the second one is completely different when it comes to building stuff. We dont know it just seems like the entire game is mechanics have changed, and not for the better. Maybe its us and as soon as we figure it out the game will be better but we just came off of a several hour run playing the first one and beating it, then decided to install the second one and after about 250 possum moves and love losing yet we still couldnt figure out how to build anything more than a tumble, pasture, and one or two other things that it asked us to build which finally unlocked towards the end of the game. For whatever reason they decided to go and change the belt mechanic from the first one and now its really different.

We would really like to play this game as we have enjoyed every game previous by the developer, but the app crashes every time we try to open it. We dont think its a problem on our end because none of our other apps do this. It may be a compatibility issue with the new iOS. Thank you for reading this if you do see it, devs.

Crashes after a few turns. Cant play on new iPad mini.

Pretty good game, gets hard at times but nevertheless we still enjoy it. One question of ours however is why do the Sea People show up? We’ve heard they dont show up in Egyptian history until the New Kingdom, unless theres been a massive time skip in sandbox mode. Another is why are the Sea People and Narmers forces so strong? There were instances where we had the advantage but we got ravaged. But yeah, other than that, really good game.

A resource management game with rich historical context. Just fantastic!

Weirdly enough, we were searching for a strategy game – a good one – that could teach us about ancient egyptian history. This exceeded our expectations in every way. Its good to look at, has original gameplay elements (which is very rare in strategy games) but what sets it apart is the historical detail. More like this please!

Fun game, but regular crashes.

Ascension of the tribes not launching. Love the game, dont love the bugs. Please fix so we can give a positive review.

This game has a lot of potential from the way it seems, but it just crashes once we start. We play on iPhone 7 IOS 13 so we dont understand what to do and why this happens.

Hi Very frustrating game as you cant build the workshop, we are sure this is a bug as desktop version is fine. Can the devs take a look at this….

At the very least the Android version of this game appears to be fundamentally flawed. We’ve played 7 different campaigns and each time we build the temple of Ptah as well as the palace and unite the all the tribes but whenever we go to the world map we cant interact with any of the tribes because the game doesnt recognize that we met the standards for the unite the tribes trial. We love historical strategy games and we feel terrible leaving a bad review for a game with such potential but this game simply didnt work for us. It would have been great if it just let us complete the mission that let us move on but we ended up stuck halfway into the campaign every single time. We hope the developers fix this massive flaw because we’ve seen that many other people have had the same problem on different forums and it seems like you no one knows how to avoid it.

As the title suggests. Im on an IPad Pro and the game crashes at horrible times making us lose all our saves. Please make the game auto save every turn to avoid this.

We just paid for this game and we cant even play. Im playing on an iPhone 8 and when the app starts it goes black and crashes. Please fix this. The first three games were great!

Got 3 hours into game, and it doesnt show save file, we saved in the save screen on multiple occasions, this game is lovely for what it is, please fix this issue and we got to 5, Im on iPhone se.

One of the very few high-quality strategy games available on iOS. Good graphics and better gameplay. Even though it is one of the only good strategy games, it still has its flaws. -my first war against upper Egypt was won by an ambush of 200 of our troops vs 100 of theirs. For some reason this ended the war, even though an attack was about to commence in a turn with them possessing 1.3k vs our 800. -how the heck is Memphis producing more resources then the rest of Egypt? -Memphis is not marked on the map of Egypt. We had no idea which tribe was ours and who the enemies was. Apparently we were the owl tribe, but when In the city map mode we are not labeled as such. -game does not exactly explain how Memphis grows so powerful. We are assuming the population of Memphis makes up for the lack of territory, but that is just an assumption. Overall great game with a few kinks to work out 5/5.

We would give this game 5 stars, but there are major flaws in its design. For one, there is no option to zoom the map, making it hard and annoying to move around the map. The app randomly crashes, and the UI often breaks. This game requires micro-management to assaign all workers, which can become annoying. It is also hard to get into in the beginning, and is very similar to the game Pre-Dynastic Egypt. This game would be great, but these bugs make it annoying to play.

Like another review states, it loads to the main screen but crashes before it gets into game play.
