The game is awesome. All of the games in the series is awesome. One idea. U should add the A-10 Thunderbolt II. Other than that, it’s AWESOME.

We’ve been playing this game for awhile and its totally worth the money all of them. BUT we would love it if you just add more helicopter friendly missions like to drop paratroopers or to pick up soldiers at the LZ points other wise great game.

The Gunship III – Combat Flight Simulator is one of the best combat flight Sims that you can purchase and get in the App Store or the Google play store! The graphics are unmatched, the gameplay is the most fun we’ve had with any app that we have gotten before. In fact, we deleted all the other apps that were flight Sims and kept only the flight Sims that are made by PNTK (Phanotek). We purchased all of them! There’s one annoying flaw that we see in this series and it persists and all Gunship III sequels. That is the issue of deadly grass! You cannot crash land your jet or touch any grass in the game or your jet will instantly explode! And in large you are NOT updating Gunship III (Vietnam War) or Gunship III Heroes of Mig Alley (Korean War)!!!!! Why?!?! One major issue is that there is no speed or altitude in the heads up display when your are using easy mode and using the fly behind camera view!!! Why?!?!?! Please fix this to in Gunship III Series. You have left these Sims unupdated for a LONG TIME!!!!! By the way, more objectives or any objectives in Gunship III Heroes of Mig Alley would be nice! Only single player objectives!! Why?!? Maybe you can do a capture the base in these flight Sims to like you did in Wings of Duty? It would add a lot more fun to the Gunship III series. Also, it would be nice if you could be a ground anti-aircraft cannon or Sam missile battery. Maybe there could be another installment and make it the ground forces package where you can be any type of ground force, Either anti-aircraft gun, Sam missile battery, or even a tank that can help capture bases, if you employee capture the base in gunship III series.
This game is wonderful, however, if the next IOS update makes this thing obsolete for the newest software, all the money we spent on this will be wasted. So, before something like that happens, can you guys please just update once every 6 months, even if its just something small, like a bug fix? Also, ignore the guy that wants an A-10. That hulk of metal was not used in Vietnam, so it would make the game much worse if (by deviating from the theme) if it was added. Thank you for your time.
Game crashes right on startup, this used to be 1 of the most funnest game series we played on mobile and the fact that we cant play it makes us sad.
We love the game!! No complaints, but we have just one request… Add the A-6 Intruder, the same one in the movie Flight of the Intruder Devil 505. The movie is one of our favorite flix and probably in our opinion one of the greatest display of fire power from the A-1D Skyraider nicknamed sandies.
Dear developers, THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS GAME!!!!!! ITS AWESOME! But please add bigger bombers, we spent quite a bit of money for three extra planes in which there were still in the original game. If we’re going to by the bomber version of this game, we’re going to want actual bombers like the B-52 to pilot. We fell it would be cool if y’all could add another runway especially for big bombers like the B-52 or the B-2 bomber for the multiplayer and the single player. But that’s just a suggestion. Please keep going with this great game and please take note of all these reviews!!! Thanks sooo much!!
Now this game is realistic and that guy who said the F-5E Tiger was messed up was lying, its a warning system to tell you if your turning too sharp, we would request bigger bombers though, besides that this game is very well made and if someone says something is broken, we play the game a lot so we could find the issue, and some people post reviews because their salty they got killed a lot and wish for big bombers for that reason. But thanks for posting this game and Im pretty much gonna continue to play.
We Dont know if there are any Other Vietnam War Flying games! We really Love this game! Im glad they have Blacking out which is a thing they do not have in Wings Of Duty (Gunship Sequel). A good purchase Overall and you can play Offline. We would like more missions to fly And Maybe possibly having a in game currency to Buy More planes and helicopters. These last two reasons is Why we give it 4 stars.
Please add more planes, like big bombers (bigger than aardvark). Please add special helicopter transport, troop transport, paratrooper delivering missions, and rescue missions, where you could drop off troops to attack a building or enemy base, or rescue pilots on rafts in the ocean etc. Please read our reveiw of the full original gunship and navy for more ideas. Please add special missions like that where everyone, with their own job which they choose can work together to achieve a goal or goals. PLEASE ADD THESE THINGS, AND THANK YOU SO MUCH. You could even have a special helicopter mission where you have to save Americans from the consulate like in the end of the war (just a suggestion)
Great game overall bit you should add more planes like the F-104, F-101, F-102, and helicopters like the, skycrane, Mojave, and jolly green giant.

Please please revive this game. Im getting tired of the overwhelming amount of chat spammers and people messing with the game. Its destroying the coding and over the months its even worse. This game brings dreams to life to the ones who cant afford dcs world or even microsoft flight sim. Dont let it die!

We see some people complaining regarding the stall warning going off in a tight turn on the jets. You need to understand jets have thin razor edge wings that do not provide adequate lift unless airspeed is maintained. Rather than pulling with the stick you roll the jet instead. In the case of the F-5 Tiger the flight model is quite real. The best missile platform is by far the F-4 which can achieve the separation quickest to gain air superiority. Good game overall.
This is probably the most accurate IOS flight sim you can find, almost everything plays like it should. However one should remember that Blackout arrives very quickly, and that turning is one of the best forms of dogfight, because oftentimes energy fighting just gets you killed.
So every time we turn our plane, our screen gets small an turns black when Im turning the aircraft. So to have that not happen we slow down but our Aircraft stalls and crashes or we either get shot down from them turning faster an their screen doesnt do the same. Im tired of playing this game when it happens, the game it self would be so much better for us and maybe some others too if it didnt make us blackout so fast and easily. Even though its realistic we hate it. We dont get how the heck other people can play good without their screen turning black an getting small. But ours always does. Also Im done playing this game until this goes away!! We recommend Taking the Blackout effect off this game.

We understand this isnt meant to be a perfect game. But there are issues here that wouldnt be too difficult to solve so bear with us. Honestly we are extremely fustrated with the fact that one of the most agile fighters of the cold war which is still used today the F-5 Tiger II stalls and makes that awful grinding noise in basic turns. It seems you make the incorrect flight model for it. Since for some reason it has a wide turning radius, constantly stalls out and runs out of energy extremely fast im wide turns. This when the f-5 only has two aim 9s an external tank and thats it. Barely any weight and still unmaneuverable. The F-5 is extremely agile and is renown for its easy flying. How could you mess that of all things. Its honestly the most annoying thing because the aircraft becomes unflyable, its the only dogfighter in the pack yet its the worst at dogfighting.
This app no longer works on the latest iOS version. It used to be a great game and we really enjoyed playing it – please revive it!

Fix the bugs. Get rid of that built-up G limit, all planes should have their own fixed G limit.

Need to add more helicopters and jets and should add hover for the helicopters and should take out the blackout.
You should add these planes on the Vietnam series: AC-47, C-123, C-130, F-4G, EA-6 (They were first used in 1972), A-6, F-8, F-104, F-106, and F-105G You should also make it where you have napalm tanks and you provide close air support and make a version where you start at Da Nang airbase.
So we bought these games hoping they would not be cartoon like and actually use real fighter pilot tactics against ground and air enemy…. Best purchase we’ve made on our apps thus far! We love how you can be a beginner and experience flying Vietnam era aircraft, and also be a flying pro and research the flying tactics of the time and really wreak havoc on mig 21s and ground targets! You can plan your attacks even with other pilots! Fly in formation, perform wild weasel missions (with bombs) the options are vast. Here are our issues… 1). We wish there was one app we can buy with all aircraft the series on on it. 2). The a-4 is great but we wish there was another aircraft other than the f4 because another app already has an f-4. Maybe an f-8 or another strike fighter aircraft of the day. 3). We wish The f4 on the original game had a tailhook because both f-4s have the same weapons platform, and in campaign 2 it takes a while to get to the target area. A carrier takeoff would be great. 4). The ground radar and bomb drop on the f111 could be a little more easy to see. Other than these things the game is super fun. We’ve been playing since it first came out! No game pretty much ever has had our attention for so long. Well worth the 5 bucks. Great job on the flight physics,avionics and radar!
This game is very good for its price, however the main problem is the lack of a tutorial. When we started, the gameplay was confusing at first, but it turned out to be a great game. We go by ATC in the game so see you there!
On multiplayer when we join server it ether freezes on calibration screen or 5secs later kicks us out its really annoying pls fix this other that that 5 game :)
These games are some of the best we’ve played, even on the IPhone they outshine almost every other air combat game there is, plus the multi player works very well and you can play all the expansions on the same server, worth every penny.
We’ve been playing this game for a year now and whenever we checked if there was a update and there was but it never said "added the F-105G" and we read what the game includes and it said (adding the F-105G soon) and its said that since the first version of the game so please add the F-105G Thunderchief by July 2016 PLEASE. But other then that this is the best Vietnam mobile flight simulator!
This plane is really awesome but it could use more 3D cockpit controls better ground graphics and could use more plane and bombers.
The app worked absolutely perfectly for the first ten minutes of playtime. Then it became glitchy, and eventually froze. It kicked us out of the app, and whenever we try to re-enter, it wastes no time in sending us back to our app screen. It has even effected other apps by slowing them down. It even ruined our Engima Sirenbox app by freezing it over entirely, probably because we tried to update this game and play Sirenbox at the same time. In a nutshell, we spent $4.99 for a pretty picture of a plane. Very disappointed.

Please add air refueling it would be better and can you make sure you can fly it! And can you add c-130 to transport a-i troops to fight. And a ac-130 to shoot people. And bombers. Thank you ANG 264 (In game name)

Everything is good except for one thing, or person. Every body knows him. There needs to be a new multiplayer system that bans spammers and kicks them out to where they can’t join back even if they change their names. Other than the bad player issues, this game is awesome! Keep up the good work!
This game is epic, but we think it needs a few more missions more payloads for each aircraft, and last but not least, it needs an F-8 Crusader,(in all versions), napalm for the Phantom and Skyraider, and to be true to its name, it needs an AC-130 Gunship, complete with the smoke angel, and the 40mm bofors cannon. Please make all of the aircraft we mentioned player controlled.
Great game it’s a must if you like fighter jet games the only disadvantage is you only have 3 jets but they say they are going to add more so great game overall hope you enjoy P.S. Developer’s if you read this could you add a b-52 or something like that that’s fly able please thank you!
We love the game. To touch up on what others are saying, please add a big bomber like a B-52 or something like that. It isn’t enough to only have it as an AI plane. Add a big bomber plane and we give you 5 stars.
Love the Gunship III series but includes absolutely no instructions for weapon use ANYWHERE in ANY OF THE EXPANSIONS AS WELL. Would be a great app/sim franchise if they did what everyone else does which is include weapon system instructions of any kind.

We love this pack but there is only 3 jets. Please add the F-101, F-102, F-104 and the F-106. Please add these jets because they were used. Also make it where the F-111 can open its weapon bay. We also would like to be able to fly a A-7 corsair USAF. Please add these planes and people would enjoy the game more. And make it where when you eject you could walk around or when you land in water you can swim, Thanks!
