A Glimpse into Fill-a-Pix: Pixel Minesweeper
Find which neighboring squares must be painted and create a beautiful picture! Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.
Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.
The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.
To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.

Played this game for years. Always end up downloading it when we get a new phone. Plenty of puzzles for free, no ads, an overall great game.
We lose track of time doing these counting games.
Reveal beautiful pictures doing some simple math. ToNs of fun!

We don’t mind waiting for anyone or anything anymore. Fil-a-pix can keep us occupied for hours. It also keeps our mind working . . . Sure way to fight Alzheimer’s (lol). Downside is its expensive.
Current packs are too easy for us now, kinda lack of sense of accomplishment, wish there’s more extra extra difficult packs :)
This is one of our go to games. What would make a great game greater? Have some of the pics in color because sometimes its hard to see what it is.

We love how hard the logic is (at least for me). Its like picross and minesweeper combined!
Logic puzzles with simple goals, but use complex patterns to accomplish them, are favourites of ours. Fill-A-Pix certainly qualifies. The only issue we have is that there is no "Hint" help- something that shows a new player some simple steps that will work on the puzzle being played. A cool addition would be a ‘find-solved’ option that shows you a nine-grid that has all the blacks or all the whites done and just needs to be completed. Would really help when a complex picture seems to be done, but has a couple of pixels still untouched.
We enjoy the challenge of the puzzles, but the finished pictures dont do much for us. Sometimes even with the title provided we cant see what is depicted.
We were originally annoyed by this apps interface to the extent that our original review only gave it one star but we’ve gotten used to it and the app has greatly improved since then in any event. Nice selection of puzzles as well. In fact, our major remaining complaint is that there are so many puzzle packs available that the store could do with a search function… Which we see that it in fact has now. Nice.
Another Conceptis app, another request to review, despite saying No virtually countless times. Why even give us the option to say No if it literally means nothing, and youre just gonna keep asking?? Edit: Lol it just asked again. For like the 10th time. Developer said It hAs tO AsK wHeNeVeR ThErEs An uPdAtE but NONE of our other 300+ apps ever have this problem. Only Conceptis apps. Edit 2: it asked us again Edit 3: it asked us again. Edit 4: it asked us again.
The conceptis games are stimulating yet relaxing and the best programmed user friendly of this type of game. A great replacement for grocery store game books.

Id highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun but challenging puzzle. Lots of free puzzles to try and if you want, the puzzle packs are cheap for the time you spend on the puzzles. The controls are good, the clue system is good if you need it (and free) Try this out its great.

We have solved hundreds and hundreds of these puzzles. We admit, we are a Basic Logic fan as we love to solve without using any hints or having to eliminate wrong answers. New puzzle packs are released regularly so theres never a shortage of new material. We have bought dozens of puzzles packs and will continue to purchase more.
We like puzzles, and we think conceptis makes good ones (I like the simple and clean layout of their games not to mention no ads!) Out of all their games, this is our favorite. Love it, and have been playing for months now!

We enjoy this game – the weekly free games are enough to keep us satisfied without eating up all our free time. The controls are well thought out and easy to use. Nicely done.
This is one of our favorite apps and we keep coming back to it day after day. The rules are simple to understand but the mind-bending challenges can range from simple to really challenging. If we get stuck they have included a nice hint feature but it is always possible to complete a puzzle without using it once you have figured out some of the configurations to look for to help solve the puzzles. It is well worth the cost for the packages and the best part is that there are never any ads! Plus, we can go back and replay old packages several times, especially if it has been a while since we initially played them and its just like brand-new. Highly recommended it you like logic puzzles and pixel art!
We love how there are no ad interruptions and there is plenty of content before a paywall occurs. Lovely game and lovely developers too, we really enjoy most of their games. The longer you play the more things pop out to you, make sure to take breaks with the big puzzles.
We really enjoy the varied logic puzzles. There are so many to choose from, a free one every week and reasonable subscription prices. And little hints help keep you going in the super hard ones.

We’ve played this everyday while listening to podcasts & audibles for the past few years. We just really love these types of games & Conceptis Puzzles never disappoint.
We really like this game! Its similar to minesweeper, but this app does a much better job with zooming in and out than the official minesweeper app. We also like that it doesnt have any ads! They have extra puzzle packs you can buy, but for now we’ve just been resolving puzzles and still having fun. Overall great app.
Enjoy the puzzles and play every day. Only one big downside for meconstantly accidentally marking when shifting to different areas on the picture. Dont notice the stray mark and wind up wasting a ton of time retracing our steps. This is very frustrating and we would be much happier with this game if the devs would modify to eliminate single-touch marking. That is, tap the tile at least twice before mark is set. Either that or add a confirmation step. Would certainly deserve 5-stars if this issue were ever addressed.
We wish there were more free puzzles, but there is a good mix of easy to really hard.

Been playing this for awhile now and enjoyed it a lot, but with the latest update it crashes on our iPad mini 4 before it even starts. We are no longer able to play.
The new update has made it practically impossible to maneuver on the iPad. Disappointing as this is one of our everyday puzzle games. Not fun.
