Flappy Royale is a battle royale-styled game. It takes the competitive nature of a battle royale where far too many people play at once, with the un-forgiving nature of a flappy game.
Flappy Royale has two game modes: a royale free-for-all with up to 100 players and a daily top-score system to see who got past the most pipes daily where players have a limited number of tries.
If it flaps (and kinda if it doesn’t), we’ve tried to get it in the game, giving you the chance to play as all sorts of animals and glammed to the brim.
We think you’ll find it messy, frustrating, and very fun for 10 seconds. Then you hit a pipe, and start all over again. You know the drill.

The bottom banner ads have hit the pipe and are flapped out. It didn’t feel like they were pulling their weight, so we figure it’s better to have a cleaner screen instead.
Also, new: night mode! If you’re playing late at night or early in the morning – so are the birds!

Honestly pretty good game. But you need to make the pipe space bigger like in the original game because 50 people die just instantly.
We loved Flappy Bird and we love Flappy Royale. Our only complaint is the Daily Trial doesn’t seem to work anymore and everytime we win an egg the ad doesn’t seem to let us open it.
We used to play this game on our laptop just fine, but now we cant get passed entering our username. It says something like evaluationmodeplayco so we cant play. Whats happening?
Amazing game, love the idea! However, none of the games we play are registering in the stats. It still says 0 wins in the corner too and we just got our first win. Why are these numbers not updating ?
The game is so laggy our phone could explode simply playing a match.
Why cant we see any other players but us?
The game doesnt register when we change our style and some items dont go into our inventory when we open the eggs from watching ads. The game is very great though and we appreciate the dark mode option you took into consideration. It is quite the rage game though.
Why when Im going threw a pipe do we just get randomly killed.
That something is severely buggy about this game. Maybe its our hardware (iphone8, latest iOS build) but very often times in mid flap our bird will just take a dive. And then theres pipe jitter, almost like its dropping animation frames. Faby Bird runs very smooth, but this app sometimes excellent, often frustrates. Please recode using apples better coding tools. We know that a jerk thing to say, but really, you guys have the seed of something great here. Dont blow it.
This game is fun dont get us wrong, but abusing ads is something we dont believe in and it ticks us off when we get one of those stupid eggs and it never hatches despite us watching 100 ads. Other than that we love this game and please let us know if this ever gets fixed and we will definitely change our review. Also please make more cosmetics, this game would be very good and profitable if it were just a tad bit easier and had more things to buy and earn. Also please fix the reset glitch, every time we launch the game it treats it as if we’ve never launched it. Also please hear us out and add back banner ads because this game could be making just as much as the original Flappy Bird if it had the banner ads and banner ads are a whole lot less annoying than video ads. Please add an offline mode too, were not stupid, we know that the birds are bots so theres no point in the game requiring being online other than advertisements we guess but even still it would be nice for their to be a watered down offline mode that didnt have cosmetics and eggs or something like that. Other than the issues and requests we have in this review the game is still 100% worth trying especially if you are good at and/or like Flappy games!
When we started up the game it said what is your name but no matter what name we typed it wouldnt let us in.
First of all we really wanted to try this but the game doesn’t work it gets us stuck in the weird cave screen.
We really like this game. We’ve put up with the various glitches such as getting an egg, watching an ad, and then the egg not opening but rather asking us to watch an ad again. But this latest glitch is just too much. Everything that we previously unlocked is now locked. We’ve unlocked over 50 items and now everything is showing as locked. Also, items will no longer unlock. We’ve opened two eggs today and the items aren’t showing up as unlocked. Please fix this issue! Edit Updated to version 1.5 and our items are still locked. Eggs are still not unlocking items. We watch the ad, am informed that we unlocked an item, and then it still shows as being locked. Please fix this! Edit 8-18-19 Another update, still don’t have our previously unlocked items. And now when we open an egg it’s just an endless loop of ads instead of watching one ad and unlocking an item.
Game is literally broken. They made it to where you die even though u know you did not hit the pipe.
Game no longer will work, no one shows up in lobby, and nothing saves. Used to be fun, but now we cant play.
Love the concept and the game! We thought it wasnt live, but the developers reached out and told us how it works. That is amazing and we love the game. Looks like the bugs we had encountered initially have been resolved! Keep up the good work.
Feels laggy sometimes. Feels much more floaty than OG Flappy Bird. Seeing the other players is distracting. Fun though.
Pretty glitchy, sprites flicker weird, the ads pop-up mid game, the game also has a hard time remembering stats, this game needs a lot of work and polish. Could have the potential to get very great.
Right now the game simply doesnt work. Half the time it kicks us out of the game before its over, and 100% of the time it doesnt save stats in any regard, making every new play our best ever and refusing to award points in the daily runs.
The faint popping of hundreds of birds plummeting to their deaths. The same ding every time you precariously navigate through a pipe. The number of pipes ever growing, birds ever falling. We fall. We press Again. It beckons to us. Fall. Again. Fall. Again. There is nothing else. There is only the endless flap. You recognize that this is your life, played out in front of you hundreds of times a day. This is no longer a game.
At first, the game would freeze after losing a round and would just keep telling us one sec no matter how many times we tried to restart. This issue now seems to be fixed, but many other issues have come up. Now, Im unable to customize the character. It shows as though our customizations have been applied while on the home screen on the game, but once we start playing it defaults to a basic character. It also is no longer saving data. The number of matches won has not changed despite winning multiple, and it doesnt record the daily trial data either. Even after resetting the entire game, Im still having these issues. Please fix!!
Lets start with the misleading concept. This game hints at the game being multiplayer and playing against 99 other players. But that does not seem to be the case considering the game can be played without wifi, service, or even on airplane mode. While that is helpful, its it very misleading. The games death barrier is also very broken, for example, after you pass a pipe and are in the clear you can still die. Fix these issues.
Second best app next to the original! 10/10 gameplay and idea. 1/10 hit detection and boundary issues; you WILL fail for no apparent reason mid game, even if you are completely clear of any pipes.
Game is becoming glitchy that its becoming borderline unplayable, based on updates the devs seem uninterested in fixing the glitches but more focused on trying to make more money off of the game.
This game is not good it has too many glitches when we tap to jump out it just instantly makes us fall and die even when we tap and in the middle of the game for no reason we die when Im not even close to hitting a pipe.
We like the game as it is, but the bugs are a bit too much. We understand its a beta but it freezes a lot.

This game is amazing! Other than almost breaking our iPod and rage quitting.
First of all, we’ve been here since the beta and we love this game. We dont have any complaints just some suggestions that could really help. First of all we think itd be really cool if you could add some sort of friend system. Like you can play with people you know through duos or squads or something like that. You should also get a prize if you win, like maybe coins and you could start a shop to use those coins and buy new birds, customizations, backgrounds, pipes, etc.
We broke our phone while playing this, but yet, its still a masterpiece.
Hello! This app is very fun and addicting. However, every time we hit a pipe the app freezes and we need to quit the app and open it again to play it again. When we first got it, it wouldnt do this and we were able to get back into matches easily. (Somewhat, it still takes some trial and error in terms of finding a room but thats another issue) we hope this glitch is resolved sometime soon! Thank you! Ill bump the score up if its fixed.
This is a great spin on the Flappy Bird genre. Its extremely addicting, just like the original. However, we came across a bug that does not allow us to join matches anymore. After playing several in a row, the game stops putting us in matches and even closing out the app and restarting it didnt fix the issue. So essentially we cant play the game any more at this point. Bummer. Still a great game, but needs to iron out the bugs and we can confidently say it was released to early in this state.
