We really enjoy the Forgotten Hill games but have to say the Dark/Beyond side is quite difficult and requires hints to understand what you need to do next. Im currently stuck in Beyond the Library. We’ve made the Mandrake bread but every time we click on it, the game enlarges it like a photo or book so we cant give it to the hungry goblin boy. Is this a glitch – the game doesnt seem to consider it an inventory object?
We love the games by this developer but… Im horribly stuck. We filled the bottle with sap instead of water. We figured out where to dump the sap finally but now have no container to give water to the guy stuck in the fish(for the second time)!? Is this a glitch or can someone help find another bottle.? We also had the game crash frequently in the big mouth plant room using the camera, but we have continued the game til this point…
One of the best puzzle games we’ve played thus farand we’ve tried many! Ill play anything these developers make in the future, if the quality and attention to details is even half as good as this! We are always on the hunt for good, engaging puzzle games and this one brings all the best elements together: entertaining stories, interesting characters, great graphics, mental challenges, the works! Finished Disillusion and am just floored at how good it was. We want to start all over again but we are moving on to the other forgotten hill series games.
This is the best escape room app and we have played them all. Totally worth the money. It was hard to put it down! We couldnt stop and now that we finished it we wish we had taken it slower because we want to keep playing! We love how long this particular game is – there appear to be different levels at first, but then everything connects in the end. Great storyline and great variety of puzzles! Well done! Would love to see another game like this, but perhaps less creepy lol!
We were initially unsure of whether to pay 5 dollars for this, but its actually crazy how much content is in it. Well well well worth it. Puzzles are extremely creative and they will last you a long time, provided that you dont get as addicted to the game as we were and finished it in several days. Puzzles are challenging for sure and will get you thinking, but not too hard that someone would get stuck often. Anybody unsure of whether or not to get this should really honestly just pay the $5. Well worth it, and youd be supporting a developer who has consistently (and hopefully will continue to) created great content. With how much creativity goes into these puzzles, the developers really do deserve all the praise and support. Whoever develops these games is doing a great job and we cant wait for more new content!
It’s very confusing and we ended up paying for both, we thought theyre different. It’s a great game though.
Overall very well done but some puzzles make no sense like the poster (with the holes) trying to figure out what order the numbers are meant to be entered. Had to look up a walkthrough.
We LOVE escape room puzzle games and we have played most of these now and all of Rusty Lake. Rusty Lake is FAR SUPERIOR. Why? Because the logic is sound. You find a clue and it makes sense where the next step is and if you dont figure it out and have to resort to a walkthrough, you are like omggggggg Im stupid. This one?? Every time we’ve used a walk through (a LOT) Im like why on earth would THAT be a thing?? Its no fun to just go room to room clicking on things without logic. Thats not a puzzle – thats trial and error. We will play till the end because Im a completionist but meh. This one is making us mad. 3 stars because it still looks cool.
Looks like its an earlier version but its the same game. We thought it was another installment in a series.

Manuela- Thanks so much for making these! This was our favorite by far! All your games remind us of a mix of choose your own adventure books and old PC games like Hugos House of Horrors and Black Cauldron! Why we love them- Perfect mix of spooky and challenging. We love the mystery and puzzle solving without having elaborate battles that Im not good at to progress the story like some other games. This game has so many improvements! Excellent hint system and being able to pass if you get REALLY stuck. The Camera! We play on our my phone and for the first time we did not have to write everything on scraps of paper. Our memory is terrible and the camera was an amazing addition. We also loved all the backstories and books. We lived for the baking and the monster poop! Suggestions- It was really hard to know when we were finished with an area and where to go next since multiple areas were all open. We felt there needed to be a bit more direction on what to do next especially once we got to saving the kids. We could not tell if we were supposed to be reviving the expired ones and could not remember where the heck they all were. Overall great!
We are at the point where we need to pick up a gun before we can progress any further. However many times we click on the gun, we cant pick it up. 1 star until this is resolved.

We have played just about every high quality escape game like the room, forever lost, ect. This game ranks up there with the best! Good job.
Game was great until the bucket in Flora and Fauna would not attach to the hook. There is no work around and we wasted our time and money on a game with glitches.
A game truly worth playing, and taking your time on to appreciate every aspect of it. Love the whole series, but this game exceeded our expectations in the concept, challenge and length! Kudos to the developers!
If you like Forever Lost, Rusty Lake, Tormentum, this game is a MUST. Its creepy and creative, with unusual puzzles and a perfect hint system that doesnt give everything away, just helps you not get too frustrated.
This is a huge and complex game and totally well worth the price. There are many, many, locations and puzzles…. A wonderfully creepy story and ambiance…. Great graphics, and smooth gameplay. We did have to close and reopen a few times when it froze but it always saved our progress so there was really no problem. Thanks for the in-game hints and official walkthroughs. We confess we used them a fair amount, but the game is so big that it never felt like we were losing out. There were quite a few places where it was not at all obvious what to do next and this is where the walkthroughs were invaluable. The only thing I’d add is a fast travel map at some point… Once the second part of the game opens up there is so much walking to and fro and we got tired. Overall, a stupendous offering from this dev who has, over time, become a favorite. All their games are great.
We have been playing FH since the very first game and we have been never disappointed. The horror and mystery is just perfect. We just got done finishing this one and the ending was real satisfying and sad. We were hoping to turn all the nynchkuddys back to their human form but we think that can happen in a future game. We think there should be a next game called Forgotten Hill: Witch hunt.
