We play these games all the time so it takes a lot for a game to earn 5 stars. This one does in SPADES (pun intended)! A solid story, art, gameplay, AND the bonus chapter cannot be missed this is one game we will be revisiting.
They never disappoint but this game is incredible. A real Hunger Games feel with the speaker announcements, games of Chance etc. STUNNING.
Ive played many games of this sort. We enjoyed the mysteries and finding clues. Our pet peeves are all the games related to video games, where most of the times the computer wins. Thats not for us. Other than that great game.
Did you have to do that? It was bad enough the dog was in harms way so many times. But possessed then killed was a bit over the top. On the plus side there are lots of HOPs.
Excellent game. As the title says, almost every time when you go to another app, you have to go through the intro again. There are skip options, but why cant the game just stay where you left off.
This game alone got us hooked on your Edge of Reality series and we cannot wait for more! Keep them coming.
We really liked the concept of this game, it was an original theme and had paranormal and spooky elements to it. We also loved the graphics, scenes and little corgi, but thats sadly where the likes ended for us. The side games were entirely too hard and frustrating. We dont want to have to skip through so many elements of a game after paying $6 for the full version! We also have never used the hint button the way we had to with this game. The story wasnt fluent and didnt naturally flow the way it should have. It left us at times confused and wondering what we missed. All in all this game was a miss for us. Hopefully the next game will be more enjoyable.
We like 4F games. We think there is a lot of potential, but the redundant pvc is so outplayed. Its literally like playing tic tac toe. But further into the game you will find better puzzles, and more mind enhancements. Good job to the designers and developers,but just remember be unique.
Worst game Ive ever played. Unless you enjoy unending boredom, avoid this game. In Response To The Developer: Ill definitely try another one…from another developer. To try another one of your games? We say, Why bother.
Our review disappeared twice and Im not writing another! Our review was terrific and the App Store deleted us again. It was an amazing game and we apologize to Friendly Fox but we cannot write a third review. The first two were amazing though. The developer read them, at least. Im just doing an update. Friendly Fox is working on a newsletter. You can now follow them on Facebook. In addition, they updated and re-released their first game ever. Its Living Legends: Ice Rose. If you bought it the App Store will restore your purchase. For newer gamers, definitely buy it. It was a wonderful and beautiful game. Ill keep you posted when we know anymore projects from Friendly Fox will be released.

It's been a while since we've been stimulated by a refreshing storyline as this one has proven to be. The casino/board game theme is not just confined to the storyline; it is ubiquitously felt throughout the entire game and intelligently tied into the gameplay, sights, and sounds. In order to find your birth parents, you gamble on your life by participating in a casino-oriented board game in which it's the end-of-the-line if you're dealt the fatal deck of cards. The characters' personalities are developed enough to provide backbone to the storyline, thereby maintaining our interest in what happens to them. The developers meticulously created impressive design structures throughout the environments; they deserve accolades for this alone. The well-detailed backgrounds stylishly depict board game visuals that alter between fantasy and reality. The atmospheric soundssuch as the pings of the slot machines, followed by the jittering fall of the coinsevince an immersive, compelling casino-like experience, grasping us further into the storyline as we progress. Cut-scenes are sharply executed and cinematic in presentation. The adventure portion of gameplay necessitates tasks that are mostly connected to the casino/board game theme. Inventory gives way to surprising manipulations. The HOSs thematically reflect the environment, using items relative to the storyline. Although they are mainly traditional in variation and not as sophisticated as the puzzles, they still showcase some entertaining interactions. The puzzles are action-driven and cleverly delivered to suit the plot. Even though they are overwhelmingly structured to adhere to the casino-styled concept, they vary in format to avoid monotony. Unfortunately, the collectibles are minimal in comparison with those in other developers' games. Gameplay flowed seamlessly from beginning to end, never subjecting us to frustrating, tedious glitches or flaws. All of the componentsfrom the exquisite artwork, to the musical score, to the outstanding animationsfuse together harmoniously to create a fluid production. We appreciate the reduced purchase price. We strongly suggest you give the free trial a spin.
